Chapter 508: Chapter 487 A Rewarding Harvest (Two in One) Chapter 508: Chapter 487 A Rewarding Harvest (Two in One) The passage behind them slowly closed, and once the surrounding energy settled, Roger found himself and Goway in the midst of a verdant forest.

They were positioned at a higher elevation, and looking down from up high, they could see a range of rolling hills, with a faint light flickering on the horizon.

“Seems like a lake,”

someone in the group said. Roger couldn’t help but glance at her; she was one of the three witches who had entered with Tamara.

As she spoke, the golden tattoos at the corner of her eyes gradually faded, clearly having used some kind of spell.

“Eureka, stay alert,” Tamara instructed before riding her goat-headed beast towards a massive stone at the mountain peak.

The witch named Eureka and her two sisters were triplets. Other than her, Roger had never heard the other two women speak.

The trio had a peculiar aura about them. Though they were triplets, their movements, footsteps, and even sporadic habits were identical.

If someone told Roger that these three were one soul split into three parts, each controlling a different body, he would believe it.

“Everyone be careful. This place may seem peaceful, but worlds like this are always fraught with danger,”

“Although we belong to different families, I hope we can work as one here,”

said a middle-aged man.

He was well-preserved, with hardly any wrinkles on his face and a somewhat hooked nose, giving off a somewhat brooding vibe when silent.

Bovida, as the eldest and most powerful member of the Secret Blood Family on this expedition, naturally assumed the role of leader.

The man glanced at Goway while speaking.

Due to her strength, Goway’s status was second only to Bovida.

“Let’s watch out for each other,” Goway nodded.

Just then, Roger sensed something and discreetly scanned the mountaintop. Just moments before, he had felt a subtle presence emanating from Tamara’s vicinity.

“Lady Tamara, believe me, no one knows where the queen is hiding. Even if you kill me, you won’t get the answer,”

“Mowood, do you really think I won’t kill you? Our time together should have given you some insight into my character,”

“I mean what I say,”

Tamara grinned broadly, her rough right hand gripping the horn atop Mowood’s head, “I’ll ask only once.”

As she spoke, the pressure in her hand intensified. Mowood felt a piercing pain where the horn joined his skull. Just as he was about to scream, a force bore down, leaving him unable to control his body.

“Pain brings clarity. Perhaps now you’ll remember something,”

she said, increasing the force in her grasp further.

“Stop, please stop, my head’s splitting open! You’re not letting me concentrate,”

Mowood shouted, but to his surprise, the sound that emerged was no more than a faint whisper despite his full effort.

Thankfully, the pressure on his horn eased, followed by a heavy hand slapping his face, “Think quickly. I don’t wish to just wait here aimlessly.”

Tamara understood the urgency; she was not the only one watching this place.

“Black Fort, perhaps we should have a look at Black Fort. We should be able to find some clues there,”

Tamara bent down, her face close to Mowood’s, “You remember the way, right?”

Mowood nodded stiffly.

“Let’s move!!”

As Bovida and the others were confirming their tactical assignments in the face of danger, Tamara’s gruff voice echoed from a distance. She waved her hand, signaling the three witches and four druids to move out together.

Bovida and the others ceased their conversation and hurried over.

Before Bovida could approach with questions, Krus took the initiative and came closer.

“The teacher has discovered some clues. Our purpose in coming here is not to neutralize the Black Tide threat; to speak bluntly, that’s the Knight’s responsibility, not ours for the time being,”

“There might be fights ahead, but there’s also the chance to reap substantial rewards. I hope everyone is mentally prepared,”

“Don’t worry, we understand Lady Tamara’s intentions,” Bovida nodded. At his level, Krus’s word was sufficient.

At this moment, the triplet witches suddenly floated into the air, a symbol appearing on each of their foreheads. Positioned at different points, they formed an equilateral triangle.

A subtle energy flashed by, and the triangle Array suddenly collapsed, sending out waves of yellow ripples. A triangular mark appeared on the wrists of everyone present.

At the same time, a faint protective field enshrouded everyone.

Roger carefully sensed it, realizing the three witches indeed had their unique strengths. The defense formed around them didn’t rely solely on the witches as the primary source of energy.

All present, except for Tamara, were part of a circulating force field; any sudden attack on one would trigger a chain reaction.

“These women are strong,”

Roger couldn’t help but exclaim.

“I’ve heard of these three,”

Goway added in time, “The Eureka sisters are quite renowned throughout Europe,”

“I’ve heard about these women. They are prized apprentices of Corinna, the head witch of the Nature Association,”

“Triplets are rare enough, but it’s not unheard of. However, the Eurekas were afflicted by a Cursed Item before they were born. They are triplets, but they were also conjoined,”
