Chapter 431: Chapter 431 Dream Trials (5) Chapter 431: Chapter 431 Dream Trials (5) Eld, Hilltop Manor in Dublin.

After parting with Amanda, Roger left Mist City and, undisturbed, began to prepare the Conversion Potion.

First, he took out the brilliantly lustrous Vampire fang, set it aside, and then extracted a portion of the Hart Spirit’s Horn.

The solution made from Black Pine Branch, Aconite Herb, Silver Stone Dust, and Griffin Tailbone soaked the Hart Spirit’s Horn.

The soaking liquid was placed in the center of the Array.

Within the yellow liquid, something wriggled like insects, gradually engulfing the Hart Spirit’s Horn bit by bit. After soaking, the Hart Spirit’s Horn was scorched with flame, and cracks appeared on the originally solid surface.

After completely disintegrating, it was ground into a green powder wrapped in a yellow glow.

Having done all this, Roger used a pre-prepared Valerian Solution to soften the Vampire fang.

In many legends, Valerian was considered the go-to choice against Vampires, but in reality, it only worked on some low-tier Vampire Monsters.

Against real Vampires, the effect was minimal, unless, like Roger, it was used for an extended soak.

The surface of the Vampire fang, softened by the Valerian Solution, was next engraved with corresponding Arrays by Roger.

After both fangs were fully engraved, Roger removed his shirt and pierced the fangs into his body at the junction of his collarbone and neck!

Before the blood could spray out, it was absorbed by the Vampire fangs.

The surrounding Array emitted a blood-red light, with internal and external energies resonating. This was an extremely critical step; a Demon Hunter preparing a Transmutation Potion needed to fill the fangs with his own blood.

This process was supposed to take quite some time as the blood absorbed by the Vampire fangs was compressed after passing through the Arrays engraved upon them.

Though there were only two fangs, the actual amount of blood needed was staggering.

The spine trembled with the powerful healing and blood-making capability from the demonic bull monster, providing Roger with a continuous supply of fresh blood.

Even so, Roger soon found himself weakened by excessive blood loss, and at that moment, he was in a valley of the Fairy Tale World.

Having extracted the most vital essence of the Rose Monster, the once vibrant Sleeping Valley had drastically changed. With a thought, Roger activated for the first time the new ability he had acquired from Goway.

The surrounding green grass collapsed to the ground, leaves rustled loudly, and tender blades visibly withered into a yellow hue as their vitality was stripped away, then flowed into Roger.

As time passed, the Vampire fangs buried in Roger’s body were gradually filled with blood, while all the greenery around him disappeared, turning the land into an absolute dead zone.

When at last Roger reached the limit of his ability’s influence, the transformation of life force ceased. His eyes flashed with resolve, and, gritting his teeth, he took out the Spring of Emerald he had obtained from Yebeni.

Throwing his head back, he drank, and his mind cleared as a surging vitality burst forth from within him.

What could have been achieved through gradual accumulation, Roger completed in an extremely short time.

He did this not for the ritual’s continuity but because the quality of blood condensed by the two methods had certain differences. This subtle difference would be magnified in the final preparation process, subsequently affecting the efficiency of the transformation.

Rather than waste a portion of the Spring of Emerald, Roger aimed to complete this process in one go.

Finally, as the energy from the Spring of Emerald began to wane, the Vampire fangs, having accumulated enough blood, squeezed themselves out from his body.

The fangs were dark red as if they were two deep crimson Rubies.

Now came the last step, the merging process.

After resting briefly and regaining his damaged energy,

The two red fangs hovered in mid-air, and Roger clasped his hands together. The fangs started to merge together in an eerie fashion.

Their surfaces morphed, softened at the tips, then dripped onto the green powder made from the Hart Spirit’s Horn.

The two components reacted and blended in a miraculous way. The final Transmutation Potion wasn’t liquid but crystalline.

Each crystal was deep red with the edges outlined in green light, and at their core shimmered particles glowing with golden light.

The shape, size, and weight were all completely identical.

“This is the Transmutation Potion.”

Although the experimental process seemed simple, Roger had expended a large amount of Essence Blood and physical strength. He didn’t immediately take the potion, but instead returned to the real world to relax for a bit. Lying in bed, he rested for a day and devoured a large expanse of green vitality.

Once everything was ready, Roger took the first Transmutation Potion.

It was cool to the taste.

As the potion slid down his throat, Roger quickly felt a burning sensation within his body; the potion wasn’t being digested and absorbed.

Next were the second and third potions.

Three potions entered his stomach.

Then Roger took out another one and drew a bloody line between his eyebrows. When the red crystal touched the blood, its solid surface instantly melted, and then snuck into Roger’s forehead through the wound.

Then came the limbs.

By now, Roger had consumed eight potions.

And the change officially began.

The three potions in his stomach began to digest, and the other potions already integrated into his body spread throughout, traveling along the white fascia.

Then the funnel-shaped Array model in his mind began to spin, accelerating with time.

A channel opened between his body and spiritual power.

Roger struggled to keep his eyes wide open, but the things in front of him became more blurry. He felt as if he had grown wings and was soaring in the sky, sprouted fins, and was swimming merrily in the water.

He even saw friends from his past life, along with every woman he had deeply connected with.

“Is this a dream?”

Memories blended like an overturned box of paints; unrelated parts merged in inconceivable ways, bizarre and eerie, like a dream.

Yet, at that moment, intense pain brought Roger back to reality.

The Penetration was complete, and the transformation had officially begun.

This rapid growth process was rough, just like the Demon Hunter’s consistent style.

The pain started affecting the dream before his eyes; his consciousness twisted, with blood and slaughter unfolding in front of him–along with that, Roger felt his body changing.

His bones seemed to soften, and his body stretched out.

“A third eye? An extra leg?”

“A tail, wings?”

Roger couldn’t tell what was real and what was not.

He could only passively endure it all.

“Whatever, as long as I can continue to be handsome…”

He thought indifferently.

All the changes seemed to have completed within Roger’s consciousness, while in reality his body maintained its last posture.

With each breath, his flesh grew at an alarming rate, until he reached a critical point. Roger exhaled, slowly opened his eyes.

The entire valley was silent, as if a Giant Dragon was awakening!
