Chapter 3575: You Know What to Do

Meanwhile, on the white waterfall. Most of the experts there were those with White Lights on their chests, but you would always find some crazy ones trying their luck, not many... or so it should have been. This time, however, there were many, many more experts with a different light on their chests. To be more specific, a lot of experts with Green Light, the same light as the twins’ group.

Why were there so many of them here? That’s simple. After Roan made the entrance of the Green Waterfall Tunnel collapse, there wasn’t much those who arrived later could do. Some stayed behind, trying to force their way open. As for others... they left the tunnel and went after the tunnels of other colored waterfalls. The white one, the closest to the Green Waterfall, was the place that received most of those Green Light Experts.

Of course, those with Green Light still had much lower numbers than those with White Light since this is the White Waterfall. If all the experts with White Light joined forces, they could definitely force the experts with Green Light back... but they did not do it.

Why? Because it would take a lot of time, time which the other experts and universes would be using to progress further into the palace. So, even though they didn’t like it, none of the experts with White Light turned around to fight those with Green Light and the very few with different ones.

Now, they were all inside the tunnel, and no one did what Roan did to make it collapse. It wasn’t that no one thought about it, but that there were just too many experts going through it. When Roan attacked the Green Waterfall Tunnel Entrance, he was alone with his group. No one was there to stop him. Here, obviously, if you attempted that, you would become enemy number one, so no one was idiot enough to try.

Just like it happened with the Roan, the leading expert in the tunnel arrived at another one of those doors; it was Klotha. She was the leading expert of the Romuteri Clan, the same one who talked with Elder Zick of the Camazotz Bats. The door’s patterns resonated with the white light on her chest, and the door opened, allowing everyone behind to go through.

Klotha moved until she arrived at the first path divergence, followed by the thousands of experts who decided to go through the tunnel instead of climbing the precipice. Her companions looked at her, and she nodded, taking out her own medallion. This one had a picture of a small star on it, different from Elsie’s Medallion, which had a small stone.

She sent her Divine Sense into the Medallion, and after a few seconds, she selected a path. "Through here."

Her Romuteri Clan experts followed, and close behind, the many other experts from other groups.

However, something happened after half of them went through that passage. The other half hit an invisible barrier, and they couldn’t force their way forward. Those who passed by that entrance looked behind, puzzled. There were even a few groups that ended up splitting because of that.

Several attacks followed, but they caused the structure underground to almost collapse, so they stopped, especially since the barrier itself seemed intact after all of it. It was pretty obvious that not everyone could go through the same paths.

The same phenomenon happened in all the other tunnels that led into the palace-like corridors. A door, then a path divergence, and finally, only a set number allowed to select a specific path, with the rest being forced to follow the other one.

That wasn’t the first time. Back when Elsie led the twins’ group, they passed by various rooms were the paths split into different ones. It’s just that Elsie seemed to know exactly where she was going. For the other groups, however, every time they reached those divergences, only a set number of them could select a specific path, and then a barrier would appear after that number was reached, forcing the rest to select other routes.

As all of that happened, the twins’ group was oblivious to these separations. They were far, far ahead of everyone, so they didn’t need to worry about being separated. They didn’t have enough experts with them to force the barrier to appear. On the other hand, there were only six of them, which meant there were still a lot of experts that could end up on the same route as the twins’ group.

Roan approached Celis’s vine, where that Major Law of Structural Corruption was trapped. He gathered his own Major Law of Darkness and used it against that gas. Sure enough, it played as Roan thought it would. His Darkness Law overwhelmed the opposition, and he easily got rid of it. Of course, there was only a tiny bit of those laws on Celis’s vine, so it would be a lot harder down there.

"Celis, can you lower me down?" Roan asked. The best way to open a breach in the barrier was definitely Roan’s Dark Element and Laws. Unless the barrier had some high self-healing property, he should be able to open it.

Celis nodded, and he changed part of his body back to his World Swallowing Cedar form. The corridor they were in wasn’t that big, so Celis couldn’t take his full form there. It didn’t matter, though. He only did that to get a foothold. Roan jumped on one of Celis’ Vines, and Celis sent him down the trench below.

As the vine went down, it grew smaller vines/roots on the sides, digging into the wall. Celis did it due to the gravity since Roan’s weight was enormous. They acted as support for the whole thing.

"Alright, this is enough," Roan shouted with his Divine Energy from below. Then, his hair changed into a mix of white and dark before his Dark Element came out, being supported by Rean’s Light Element. His Dark and Light Laws concentrated on that Dark Element. The Dark Element touched the barrier, and as Roan already expected, the barrier tried to let it go through.

Roan didn’t force his Dark Element forward, though. Instead, he stopped it just a few centimeters into the barrier shell and began to expand his Dark Element.

*Bzzzz...*

The barrier seemed to detect it was being attacked, and all its energy rushed to the area where Roan was pouring his Dark Element. It was trying to push Roan out!

"Sure enough..." Roan said and then looked to the side. There, another vine appeared, and Rean was holding onto it. "You know what to do."
