Chapter 62: Force Me If You Can

Not long after, she saw a Black Maybach stopped in front of her. Mel frowned because the car that stopped was different from Andrew’s previous car.

She just stood there, hesitating to approach the car. A few moments later, the car window slowly fell, and she heard Andrew’s voice call her... "Mel, get in the car."

"Andrew? Did you change your cars?" She immediately sat in the back seat beside him.

Andrew is working with a laptop on his lap. "Yes, city B is rather far away. I need a driver so we can relax and can chat without worrying about the traffic," he said while smiling. He adds "How was your lunch, Mel? I hope it was fun."

Mel is looking at him and nods, "Very fantastic. Pun intended." Andrew smile at her joke. "The food is delicious, and the serving concept is unique. I think we should go there next time." She adds enthusiastically.

"Sure!" Andrew was touched because this little girl wanted to go back to the restaurant with him. "Mel, we still have a long way to go. If you’re sleepy, just sleep. Take a nap. It’s good for your health," Andrew said softly.

Mel shook her head. Even though she was actually getting sleepy, she didn’t want to sleep. Mel wanted to accompany Andrew all the way, wanted to chat with him. But her eyes began to feel heavy, and occasionally she yawned. Last night she slept only a few hours.

She tries to hold back... "No, I’m not sleepy! I will accompany you. Continue your work, don’t mind me." she smiles at him.

A few moments later, her eyes could not be compromised.

In a short time, she fell asleep like a baby!

Andrew could only smile.

He slowly places her head to his shoulders then looked at her tiny face. Mel’s face is so close to his now.

He can see clearly her eyelash so long, looks so beautiful.

His hand moves up to touch her natural-pink lips without realizing it, but he stops before touching them.

He turned his gaze out the window, trying to calm his raging heart that was beating like crazy.

After he calms down, he took a blanket from the compartment between the front seats and gently placed it on Mel.

"Drive slowly!" he said to his chauffeur.

Then, he went back to reading the report on the laptop, tried to divert his mind from wanting to kiss and hug the little girl.

They arrived at B town not long after, and the car stopped right in front of W hotel.

Mel wakes up from her beauty sleep when the car stops, slowly she opened her eyelids. She was shocked to realize that her head was resting on Andrew’s shoulder while her hand on his tight.

She immediately pulled her head and hand, then sat upright, facing forward. She can felt her cheeks feel warm. She did not see the driver, only him and Andrew in the car.

She glances outside, she saw the car parked right in front of W Hotel.

"W-we have arrived?" she asks while adjusting her hair.

"Hmm..." He enjoys seeing his little girl looks shy.

"Sorry, I overslept. Did I sleep too long on your shoulder...?" Mel asks embarrassedly. It felt like now she wanted to dig a hole to hide her face.

"Did you sleep well?" He ignores her question. He really enjoyed it when Mel sleeps on his shoulder, although now his shoulders feel a little bit stiff, he likes it.

"Ooh!" Her cheeks flushed red with embarrassment. "What time is your meeting?" She is checking her watch. It shows 3.30 PM.

"Now," Andrew said. Then he took a card from his pocket and handed it to Her... "This is the key to the suite room. You can wait for me there. After finish the meeting, I’ll catch up with you, and we can have dinner together."

Mel nods.

She looked around and saw a cafe not too far from the hotel. She’s suddenly raving a cup of coffee. "Okay. But, I want to go to the cafe first to buy coffee. After that, I’ll go to the room and wait for you."

Andrew patted lightly on the top of her hair. "Be careful, and If you need anything, call me, okay?"

"Okay."

After Andrew entered the hotel, Mel walked towards the cafe.

But, before she arrived at the cafe, she was approached by two muscular men dressed all in black. They look unfriendly, she becomes alert.

They stopped right before her.

’Damn! Who are they? Ghost?’ she suddenly remembers last night they talk about Ghost.

"Miss, would you mind following us? Our madame wanted to see you." Said one of the men with scars on his face.

Madame?

She did not have any acquaintances in this city... "Sorry, you must mistake me with someone else. I don’t know anyone in this city, let alone your Madame." Mel said coldly and in an alert.

She then continues to walk towards the cafe.

"Ms. Melanie Tanner, our madame is expecting you!" the other muscular man said, his tone sounds impatient. "You must follow us NOW!"

Mel stopped her steps and turned to look at them.

She narrowed her eyes... "Who is your madame?" She asks while tilting her head slightly.

"You don’t need to know. You just need to come with us right now."

"If I refuse?" Mel asks coldly.

"We will have to take you by force!"

Mel chuckled.

Instantly her aura turned sinister. It has been a long time since she was one in one combat. Her adrenaline is starting to pump up. She couldn’t wait to try the skills taught by her instructor, Alex. "Alright, force me, IF YOU CAN," She said with a mocking smile.

Instantly the muscular man with a scar on his face sends out his hand so fast to grab Mel’s hand, but before his hand managed to touch her skin, Mel shifted quickly.

Seeing Mel dodge, the man was annoyed.
