When she walks out of the bathroom, her phone rang, and Andrew’s name appears on the screen. She immediately picks up the phone. "A-Andrew? Why did you call me this late at night? Did something happen to you?" She asked worriedly.

Andrew stunned. He glances at the digital clock on the dashboard, now almost 1 AM. "Sorry, Mel. Did I wake you up?" He feels sorry because he called her in the middle of the night.

"No, I just finished working online. You know, I have a dateline." She feels sorry to lie to him. "Andrew, is something happened? Why suddenly you call me at this time?" This is the first time Andrew has called her in the middle of the night like this.

"I’m fine..." he paused. Mel is silently waiting "it’s just... right now I really want to hear your voice." His tone sounds sweet in Mel’s ears. She feels her cheeks warm, she blushes. "So, I call you without looking at the clock." Mel could hear him exhale. "Now, I’ve heard your voice. I feel better. Mel..."

"Hmm...?"

"Go sleep now. Don’t stay up late again, okay. I’ll see you tomorrow." He said, then hung up the phone.

What happens with him? Is he in trouble?

Since Mel knew him, she never heard Andrew’s voice sounded like before. He sounded sad, worried, and lost. Now Mel worries about him, but she can’t do anything to help him.

She feels helpless.

Is this what it feels to like someone? When he is sad, I feel sad too. When he is restless, I also feel restless.

Now she really wants to meet with him. But impossible, right? She could only wait until tomorrow.

Tomorrow they decide to meet, they will go to the port district. Mel has an appointment lunch with her best friend in one of the newly opened seafood restaurants. It is said that the food at this restaurant is delish, and they use natural and fresh ingredients.

And what makes this restaurant trending on social media and attracts many people to come and eat here is its lower-priced, high-quality food. It is comparable to a Michelin star restaurant.

That’s why Mel and her friends are willing to come to this seafood restaurant to try the food, and at the same time, they want to refresh their minds because they have all been too busy with their own business the last few days.

After some time, finally, Mel lay down on her soft bed. She put her thoughts aside, her eyes started to get heavy, sleepiness overcame her. In no time, she fell into a deep sleep.

Next Day

She wakes up by the timer she set at precisely 6 AM. Today she started to exercise again. She didn’t want her body would be shocks when she returned to basecamp doing XTeam’s heavy physical exercise.

What’s more, brother Alex told the truth; currently, the enemies they face are different from usual. They are invisible and undetected.

Mel is also aware that her fighting ability is still below her team in group one. She doesn’t want to be a burden to them. She has to do her best to be in the same level as them.

It doesn’t feel like she’s been working out for two hours non-stop in her mini gym for 2 hours with a strong will. After that, she takes a shower then having her light breakfast.

A few hours later...

When she came down to the lobby, she saw Andrew’s car parked in front of the main door. She walked quickly to the car, and it looks like Andrew did not notice her presence. Mel tapped the glass window gently.

The window slowly fell.

"Morning Mel, come in." Andrew said with his charming voice while smile at her. Mel smiled back when their eyes met, her heart tighten.

Gosh! Every time she saw Andrew, he gets more handsome.

’God, thanks for sending this man to me so I can admire him anytime.’ Mel could only praise him in her heart.

"Morning... did you sleep well?" She asks while fastening the seat belt.

"NO!" He started the car engine, and the car slowly moved.

"Why?"

"I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about you."

"Hahaha... Andrew, why are you so cheesy?" Mel could only shake her head while laughing softly.

Andrew chuckled, he asks "After lunch, what’s your plan?"

"Nothing, maybe just go home."

"You want to come with me?"

Mel turned to him. She was tempted to follow him, she asks... "Where?"

"City B, we can take a car or take a train to go there. You can choose what to ride?"

"Why do I decide? Don’t you have business there?" Mel suspects that this dangerous man is just looking for an excuse to have a meeting in city B. Instantly Mel flattered.

"That’s right. But, the people I meet will follow my schedule. So, it doesn’t matter what time I get there. I’m just worried, if we go by car the trip is quite long enough, back and forth takes 4 hours, I’m afraid you will be tired." He glanced at her then adds "If we take the train, it only takes about 2 hours. For me, it doesn’t matter what we ride. The longer I am with you, the happier I am." He said with a confident tone.

Mel smiled silently. She knew what this dangerous man was thinking.

"Then we can go there by car." She said in a low tone. Of course, she also wanted to be with him longer.

"Good choice, little girl." Andrew smiles wide while his hand lightly patted the top of her hair.

Mel blush.

Along the way to the port district, they are busy planning their first trip together to town B, an unplanned trip.

And not too long, Andrew’s car stopped at the restaurant parking lot ’Seafood By Chef Ru.’

This restaurant is located right before a white sandy beach. The air feels clean and fresh because it is pretty far from the central district. They drive almost two hours to get here.

Andrew just drops her at the restaurant. He didn’t accompany Mel because he had an appointment with his friend around there.

"Mel, call me after you finish. I’ll pick you up later." He said.

Mel nods then went into the restaurant.
