"Miss Amy, can we be friends? You look decent in my eyes... I mean, I like your style... It looks like we could be friends." Harry laughed.

"Sure we can... so, from now on, can I call you My Friend?"

"Sure... I’ll be delighted. In fact, my close friends can call me by any name they want, as long as animal or nasty stuff names are excluded." Harry tries to joke. Luckily, it works, as Amy laughed.

Their car moved again.

"Friend, did you know that Mel wants me to take you sightseeing in this city?" Harry asks while glancing at her. Now, Amy looks more relaxed, and she looks so beautiful. Harry turned his gaze immediately to focus on driving.

"Yes, I know... I’m sorry, friend, that time I didn’t answer your text message."

"Why did you not reply to my text?" At that time, he was so annoyed that Amy didn’t even reply to his messages.

Amy laughs before saying, "You want to know what I was thinking back then?" Harry nod. She continued, "Well, I thought you were just flirting with me... that’s why I ignored your text messages. Sorry friend...."

"Hahaha, no need to feel sorry. Now we both know it was all nothing but a misunderstanding. So, let’s forget it. Amy, is there a special place you want to see in this town?"

"Yes. I think I want to go to the Port District. Our boss said that place is the best place in the city to relax and have a good time. A white sandy beach and many spots to hang out...." She really wants to go to the beach. Because in her country there is no white sandy beach with bright sun. That’s why she wanted to go to the beach. Unfortunately, she didn’t know how to get there and didn’t have time to get there. She was so busy taking care of the company.

"So, you have time now?" Harry asked.

"Yes, I think I have!" Amy answered quickly with a broad smile.

Harry put on a funny frowned face. Didn’t she say earlier that she had a lot of work? How come she now has time to see the beach? "Are you really, really, sure?" Harry asks. Amy nodded. "Didn’t you just say you wanted to go to the office right away?"

"Hahahaha, It was just an excuse, so I don’t have to linger in the restaurant with you." She said with a sad face, but she did playfully, wanting to tease him.

"Oh please, you hurt my heart..." Harry laughed.

"Friend... let’s go to the Port District now. I will treat you to a coffee while looking at the beach. There’s a cafe there, right?" Her eyes are beaming, thinking about drinking ice coffee while looking at the beautiful sea.

"Alright, let’s go then..." said Harry happily. He then turned the car around and headed towards the port district.

Along the way to the beach, they talked about many things. Occasionally Amy stole glances at Harry. She is happy that the misunderstanding with Harry has finally been solved, and now they have become true friends.

After chatting with him more relaxedly, she realized that Harry has a good personality she likes. He is not as bad as she thought, and of course, he was hilarious. Suitable for her who has a straightforward nature and sharp tongue. And Harry was not easily offended by her dry-wit humor.

After driving for one hour, they arrive at the beach. The afternoon is still bright, and the sun is still a long way before it will set. The road was not too busy, so they could reach it faster. When Harry parked his car near the beach, Amy’s eyes sparkled when she saw a white sandy beach lay before her eyes. And the vast blue sea makes her speechless.

How could she never know there was a place as beautiful as this near town J? Now she regrets avoiding Harry’s text a month ago. If only she replied to him, she must have been here a long time ago.

"OMG!!! I just know.... there’s heaven near J city!?" She looked at Harry behind her, who had just got out of the car and walked towards her. Amy continued, "Why didn’t you take me here a long time ago, friend?" She then ran to the beach with white and clean sands, leaving Harry speechless.

"Oh right! Now she blames me..." He chuckled and ran after her.

"Come, Harry, let’s stroll this beach..." Amy had taken off her shoes. Her barefoot playing in the water while laughing. She looks adorable, like a child playing on the beach for the first time.

Harry could only smile seeing her childish side. Way too different from her glamorous and dominating charisma.

"My friend...can we stroll later? Now the sun is still so strong." He just wanted to sit in the cafe and enjoy the scenery while drinking coffee. He saw Amy don’t bother with his words, he continued... "Aren’t you afraid your skin will turn tan?"

"No... I like the sun. You know in my country the sun rarely comes out. It’s often cloudy there. Too gloomy..." She laughed and started to run again in the water.

Harry speechless.

He just stood not too far from her. He was mesmerized when he saw her laugh freely. The woman he had thought was cold and could not possibly be his friend because she wasn’t fun. It turned out she was so different. She was so cheerful....and bubbly. How could she look like one woman with two different personalities?

This has puzzled his mind.

After a while...

"Amy..." Amy looks back at Harry. "Do you mind if we get something to eat or drinks?" Harry said while pointing to the diner and coffee shop not too far from them. Amy nods and follows Harry toward the restaurant.

"What do you want to drink?" He asks when they enter the cafe.

"Anything..."

"Alright. I’ll order. You can find a table for us..." He said, then headed to order their coffee.

But not far away, Amy stopped him. "Harry...let me pay."

Harry stopped and saw her...."No. This time let me pay. Your turn to pay will be our next visit here."

Seeing that Harry was so profound, Amy immediately nods then looks for a table near the window.

That afternoon the cafe was quite crowded. Almost all the tables with good beach views are already filled. Amy felt disappointed. And walk to Harry, she has an idea to drink her ice coffee while sitting on the beach.
