Not long after, they continued their journey towards the city of J. She wasn’t sure what time her husband’s plane would land. But, she ordered her smart car to go fast so that they could arrive earlier than her husband.

When she was still in the restaurant her hand was starting to hurt. She tries to divert her mind from the pain in her arm. It now has really bothered her so much. She wanted to go to the hospital immediately to stitch up the wound on her hand, get painkillers and stop the pain.

"Irina, let’s go to the hospital..." Mel saw Irina, who was typing something on her cellphone. Earlier, she had already asked Max to unblock her cellphone.

"No, Young Lady. I don’t think we can go to the hospital. I just received an order to bring you to basecamp...." She said and continued to type on her cellphone.

"What base camp?" Mel teases her again. Of course, she knows, shadow basecamp.

"You know Ma’am, Our basecamp..." Irina hesitantly did not continue her words, afraid she would blurt out something she shouldn’t say to the Young Lady. She will not spill anything about Shadow, not again. If anything, let the Young Master explain it to her.

"You know... I know that you’re talking about Shadow Basecamp?" She chuckled at seeing Irina ignore her... "Hahaha, Irina, no need to hide, I already know about you guys..." Mel said while looking at her cellphone.

Alex called her again. She picked it up right away...

"Commander..." Mel greeted him politely.

"Why do you not obey me? I told you before that I would take care of Zack. Why do you go there without your team!?" Mel’s body turns stiff when he hears Alex getting mad at her. This is the first time she heard him fuming like this. Make her speechless.

"B-brother... I mean, Commander I...I just..."

"Now, no need to say anything. You must report to me in person. Where are you now?" Alex did not give her a chance to defend herself. This time she was completely out of control.

As the commander, he felt very angry with her. But, as a brother, he was really scared to the point he couldn’t do anything other than wait for the report from Team one those at the crime scene.

"I’m on the way to J. Maybe we will arrive around 6 or 7 PM."

"Alright. I will call you again around that time... you better pick up my phone." He said and cut off the phone call.

Mel motionless, staring at her cell phone screen.

"Gosh!! Brother Alex is so scary... he is so mad at me right now." She murmurs while tossing her cellphone into her bag.

And try to close her eyes. She feels so sleepy, but her arm hurts a lot. Her wound opened again as she climbed the wall, and the anesthetic effect faded.

"Irina...do you still have the anesthetic?"

"Young Lady, why do you need an anesthetic? Is your hand...? No..." Irina sounds very concerned.

"Hmm, yeah...apparently, the pain is killing me. I want to sleep, but my hand feels so hurt. You don’t want me hurt, do you?" Said Mel. Again, teasing Irina.

"Forgive me, Young Lady. I didn’t bring my bag. It’s still in our van." Earlier, they had left too hastily. "Young Lady, this is your car. Is there no medicine box in this car?"

"Aaah, you’re right. I forgot... I have, I have....How can I forget that?" Mel chuckled while climbing to the back. After finding the medicine box under the backseat, she asks Irina to inject her with the anesthetic. After that, she fell asleep in the back seat.

At a Private Airport.

Precisely at 6.30 PM, Andrew’s Jet Plane landed. He immediately checked the location of his wife. After that, he got into his car. They headed straight to the Misty Mountain at the Shadow basecamp.

He arrived 30 minutes later. Waiting for his wife’s car to arrive. According to GPS, their vehicle will arrive in 5 minutes. He stood still near the entrance with eyes sharp, looking at the only access to enter the building. His heart tightened. He knows he will not feel at ease until seeing his wife in person. Andrew missed her so much. Even now, he could feel her smell in his mind.

After a few minutes, he saw a black sedan moving fast in his direction and stopped right before him.

"Raymond signals Ryan to prepare everything...." He ordered Raymond, and he immediately opened the back door and carried his sleeping wife inside. When he arrived in the operating room, he put his wife, still fast asleep, on the operation bed.

Ryan has been waiting for Mel for quite a long time. He is ready with his equipment to suture her injured arms. He was just about to take action, and suddenly he was surprised to hear brother Andrew’s words...

"Brother... I want you to check her blood for a pregnancy test." Andrew said.

Ryan was shocked when he heard his words. He looked at Mel, who was sleeping in bed in disbelief... "Really? She’s pregnant?"

"My guts tell me so... she is carrying my child. And let her sleep until morning." Andrew said softly and backed off to give Ryan access to check her wound and suture it.

Andrew stares at her immobile wife without blinking. His heart was still beating fast, and his whole body still felt numb.

How could she endanger her life like this? Did she not think about what happened to themselves?

He wanted to scold her, but he couldn’t bear to see her sad and hurt her feelings. He really loves her so much.

Andrew, who was still frozen in place, was shocked when his private phone vibrated. In shadow basecamp, ordinary cell phones can’t receive signals, only his cellphones, and his commanders.

He immediately checks and finds Alex calling him. His forehead frowned.
