Chapter 164: Move To Her Penthouse

Next Morning.

Mel woke up to the sound of the alarm from her cellphone. With her eyes still half-open, she grabbed the cell phone on her bedside table. After turning it off, she continued to sleep again.

Not long after, her cellphone rang again. After much effort, she managed to find her cellphone, which was under the pillow. She immediately picked up the phone.

"Morning, my love..." Andrew’s voice was heard on the other end. Made her open her eyes wide. She glanced at the glass window in her room. Outside, the sun was shining brightly.

Am I late again?

"A-Andrew... morning!" She answered in a hoarse voice.

Andrew panicked at Mel’s hoarse voice. She sounded like she had a sore throat. "My dear wife, are you okay? Your voice is so hoarse!"

"No. I just woke up. Last night I slept around 4 in the morning." She immediately got up, threw her cellphone on the bed, and walked quickly to the bathroom.

"What were you doing so late?" Andrew’s voice was heard from the inbuilt speakers in her room, including in the bathroom.

"I had a project that I had to finish yesterday. The deadline is today." Mel washed her face while brushing her teeth. "Where are you? I’m not late, am I? I was just about to take a shower."

"Alright, you take a shower first. I’ll pick you up at 9 AM. You still have 20 minutes. Ah, no need to have breakfast at home. I’ll bring you a sandwich."

After turning off the phone from Andrew, Mel immediately took a shower and got ready. It doesn’t take too long because she doesn’t need to wear makeup to go to the office. Just using sunscreen and lip gloss is enough.

Today the weather will be hot, so she chose to wear simple clothes; a short-sleeved sky blue shirt with navy cotton ankle pants, white sneakers, and her favorite black backpack.

Today, she will spend her time at the office. This afternoon, she and her best friends will have lunch together to celebrate Harry’s belated birthday.

Not long after, Mel came downstairs. She didn’t see Grandma in the living room. Only Aunty Chen was waiting for her.

Mel smiled, looking at him. "Hans, your mission is finally over, huh? Welcome back, Hans."

Hans just smiled a little as he opened the car door for her.

Mel’s eyes lit up when she saw her handsome boyfriend sitting with his laptop on his thigh. Today he looks lovely in his formal black suit. His short hair looks stylist who is neatly combed back, and his face is clean and radiant.

She never got tired of looking at him. Instantly she wanted to hug him and bury her face on his sturdy chest to inhale his signature scent.

But, when her eyes caught sight of the lunchbox that Andrew was holding, her stomach rumbled, now hunger hit her.

’Damn it, stomach!! Can you let me enjoy my lover’s good looks for a moment?’ She cursed her stomach in her mind.

"My Love, good morning." Said Andrew, then handed her a lunchbox and a box of chocolate milk.

Mel happily accepted it and immediately filled her hungry stomach. While eating her sandwich, she glanced at Andrew, who was focused on reading something on his laptop.

"Andrew, wouldn’t it bother you if you lived in the green forest? You’d better stay in the penthouse, so you can save a lot of time." She felt sorry to see him have to spend thirty minutes on the road.

Andrew lifts his head to see her, "No. Moreover, the penthouse is currently being renovated. We’re getting married soon, so I’m renovating the master bedroom. I’m also making a computer room for you. So, after marriage, we can stay there for a while before our main house is finished."

Mel was stunned.

She was happy that Andrew renovated his penthouse so that she could live there more comfortably. And this was the first time she heard that Andrew was currently building a house that they would use after they married.

"Andrew, where is the house being built?"

Andrew shook his head, laughing. "It’s a secret. My Love, I’ll take you there when the house is finished."

"I’ll stay with you there when it’s done." He said with his deep charming voice.

Mel dumbfounded. Since when did I say you can stay at my place? This dangerous man really thought they were officially married. He is getting more shameless.

"Ooh! And can you stop calling me ’WIFE’?"

"No! I will call you like that whenever I like."

Mel speechless.

Not long after, Andrew’s car arrived in front of the City Building. Mel said goodbye to him, but this shameless man kissed her passionately. He just let go of her when she was almost out of breath.

She glared at him while saying in a low voice, "Andrew, Hans is in front. He must know what we are doing now."

"I just kissed my wife. I hope nothing wrong with that" He said it with an innocent-looking face and cute smile.

Mel was speechless against this dangerous man of her.

After tidying up her clothes, which were disheveled by his naughty hands, she took her backpack. She immediately got out of the car, running into the building without daring to look back. Afraid the dangerous man would call her, and she wouldn’t be able to resist his lovely voice.

Before she entered the elevator, she called Lara and Irina to follow her upstairs. She was going to introduce them to Hiro and some of the other staff at the MT Group.

After Mel disappeared from his sight, suddenly Andrew’s aura turned full of thought. Then with his commanding eyes looking ahead and full of determination, he said with a calm voice to Hans, "To the golden house!"
