Mel didn’t stay in Mario’s room for long because Mario was still under anesthesia. They didn’t know when he would wake up. According to Willy, he was given an anesthetic to sleep every day because the wounds were excruciating, making it difficult to sleep.

She did not wait for Mario to wake up because the longer she saw him lying motionless on the bed, the angrier she became.

She decided to meet Alex to tell him about her boyfriend, Andrew. Alex must know because now Andrew knows her identity as a member of XTeam.

She knocked on Alex’s office door lightly. Within seconds, she heard Alex’s deep voice asking her to come in.

"Commander Alex!" Mel greeted him respectfully.

Alex raised his head to see Mel. He smiled and asked her to come in and sit on the sofa. Later, he joined her to sit opposite her, "Little sister, what about your wound? Has it recovered?" He asks with his concerned tone.

Mel froze. Astonished, Alex knew about the accident that had happened a few days ago.

’Did he send people to follow me?’ She wondered.

"B-Brother Alex, how do you know?"

Alex just laughed. Without answering her.

"Are you sending people to follow me?"

"Yes!"

Mel dumbfounded. Because she had absolutely no idea anyone was following her. And if Alex sent people, why didn’t they show up and help her, when she was attacked by burly men?

"Little sister, your reflexes are too slow. How can lowly gangsters hurt you like that? I guess you need some extra training." He chuckled before continuing... "My people will only act if your life is in danger. If it’s just dealing with gangsters like them, they don’t need to intervene, right?"

Damn! Mel immediately cursed herself for being too relaxed with Harry’s family bodyguard. If only she had been more vigilant. She wouldn’t have needed any injuries, and Alex wouldn’t have thought to give her any extra training.

"Hahaha, brother, no need. I promise it won’t happen again!" Mel tried to convince Alex. She didn’t want any additional training. It was really tiring. Especially if Alex asked her to do Hell Training. She would reject it with all her might.

After a moment of silence, Alex surprised her again...

"I saw your boyfriend gave you a bodyguard." He said again while looking her in the eyes.

Mel was flustered.

Nothing can be hidden from him. Mel had to tell him today that her boyfriend is Andrew William and they were planning to get married in July. She realized that Alex knew Andrew because they were childhood friends.

"B-brother, I want to tell you something regarding my boyfriend...."

"You mean Andrew William?" Mel glared at Alex. Alex laughed at her reaction. He continued... "I’ve known for a long time, no need to explain."

Mel immediately looked down in shame, unable to look Alex in the eye.

"Does he know you’re a member of XTeam?"

Mel raised her head quickly. How could he guess right? Can he access the CCTV at Andrew’s house??

"Brother, how do you know?" Mel couldn’t contain her curiosity because Alex knew everything about her relationship with Andrew.

Alex laughed. Then he explained that a few days ago, Andrew called him in the middle of the night to ask about Mel’s gun. From that moment, he immediately suspected that Mel’s boyfriend was Andrew William.

His suspicions were answered when Ryan told him that Andrew currently has a girlfriend. They plan to get married in July. Even though Ryan didn’t say Mel’s name.

As someone close to Andrew, he could immediately guess that Mel would become Andrew’s wife. Because all this time he knew, Andrew only kept Mel in his heart. "So Andrew saw my gun?" She asked.

Mel nodded.

After that, Mel and Alex talked about her safety. Even though Andrew had given Mel two female bodyguards at this time, Alex still sent a team to guard Mel with enough distance so she wouldn’t notice them.
