Chapter 152: Visiting Mario

After they finished breakfast, Mel called Irina and Lara to the house. She wanted to tell them the rules she agreed with Andrew.

"Young Miss, good morning." Irina and Lara greeted Mel as they entered the living room area.

Mel smiled seeing them. Today they are officially working for her because the two of them would be escorting her for the first time.

Today, Irina disguised herself as her personal assistant; she wore black trousers, a light blue shirt, and black ankle boots. As for Lara, she will disguise herself as her private chauffeur, and she dresses more casually than Irina. She wears an all-black outfit.

Andrew smiles at her while silently hearing his wife talk to them.

Mel adds, "From now on, I want you guys only to report to me. Unless there’s a very urgent matter and you guys can’t contact me, then you can call him. Right, my dear?"

Irina and Lara were a little surprised to hear the young Miss’s words. They quickly stole glances at the young master for an explanation, but at this moment, the young master nodded in agreement with what the young Miss said.

At 11 AM, they arrived at XTeam Basecamp. The car driven by Lara can only stop in the yellow area. This area is the maximum limit for guests to enter the XTeam basecamp. After the vehicle stopped, Mel called Anton to pick her up in the Yellow Zone.

And now he’s back. Mel was really shocked. What’s more, he looks very different. Usually, his hair is short black, but now his hair is dark brown and messy. And there is an earring in her ear.

’Is he disguised as a gangster?’ She wondered.

"Nice to meet you, sister!!" He said and immediately patted her shoulder. Made Mel wince because he almost patted the scar on her arm.

"Willy, did you disguise yourself as a gangster in the USA?" Mel laughed at his odd look.

"Hahaha, you can say that." He laughed aloud and then drove the car to the hospital, 10 minutes from their current location, not far from the XTeam private airport.

"Is your mission done?" Asked Mel curiously because Willy has been living in the USA for almost 3 months, and he hasn’t come back and rarely has contact with them. This task is really a secret only Willy, Alex, and Mario know.

Willy nodded and told her that his mission had been completed. He was now pulled back to basecamp to help Team One. Because Commander Mario is out of duty for the next few months. So, he was assigned to be the interim leader, who would lead team one.

"What about leader Mario? Is he better now?" Mel hasn’t contacted Mario yet, because she’s worried that Andrew will find out about Mario’s accident if she makes a video call.

Willy did not answer Mel because now they had arrived in front of the hospital. The two of them immediately headed to Mario’s treatment room.

By the time Mel reached Mario’s room, she had stopped right before the open door. She saw, Mario’s condition was still the same as the last time she saw him via video call. Mario was still lying on his bed and 50% of his body was wrapped in bandages.

Suddenly her eyes filled with tears. Her heart was so angry at the thought of Mario being tortured so viciously. Instantly her hands clenched into fists, the feeling of wanting to kill the fake Mario that had made Mario like this appeared in her mind.

A few seconds later she felt Willy’s light tap on her shoulder. Instantly the anger in her heart disappeared. She took a deep breath to try to control her emotions and followed Willy into the room.
