Chapter 146: Family Dinner

"B-Blothel Andleeew..." Andrew and Mel, who were currently staring at each other, instantly looked at Baby Briel.

She was now standing in front of them. Baby Brie looks so cute with her pink dress and a matching colored headband that adorns her curly hair flowing down to her back. With a flushed face, she stared beamingly at Andrew.

Andrew smiled at her then patted the top of her hair gently. "Baby Briel, you look taller now. How old are you now?" Baby Briel’s smile widened. She raised her four fingers with her eyes blinking several times. But, moments later, her face turned annoyed when she saw Andrew’s hands tightly holding Mel’s hand.

Aunty Megan, who looked at Briel, smiled and said, "She is turning five next month."

Andrew and Mel nod while smiling at Baby Briel.

"Hello, Baby Briel, let sister Mel touch your soft cheeks..." Mel, who really likes Baby Briel, raised her hand, wanting to stroke her chubby cheek, but baby Briel dodged and ran towards her mother, ignoring Mel.

She could only chuckle before murmuring, "Damn! Baby Briel still not like me, huh!"

Andrew hears her, he said... "Baby Briel is like that. If her favorite uncle has a close friend of a beautiful girl, she will be jealous and hostile to them." Andrew laughed.

Mel looked at Bobby, who was currently sitting next to his father across from them. "Hello Bobby, how are you? Was your school fun?"

"Yes, sister Mel." He said shyly, then he continued his sentence, which shocked her... "Sister, why are you dating my uncle? Didn’t you tell me that you don’t have a boyfriend and you don’t want to date?"

Mel’s face instantly paled.

This child? How could he remember her simple words back then at the Golden House?

"Hahaha, Bobby, did I ever say that?"

"Yes! I remember you said that when you come to the golden house." He said with his annoyed tone. He was so jealous that he couldn’t accept that the girl he had a crush on was now dating his uncle.

’Damn it, this smart kid! How could he make me speechless?’ Mel scolds Bobby in her heart.

Andrew laughed, seeing his wife cornered by a ten-year-old boy.

But later, he realized this naughty boy had feelings for his wife. Making him furious, he immediately wanted to teach him a lesson. He gave Bobby a death glare.

Bobby, who is currently looking at Mel with a sad look mixed with annoyance, felt that his uncle Andrew warned him through his eyes. He immediately shut his mouth and turned his gaze away from Mel. He took his cell phone and started playing games on the phone.

"Are you happy he likes you?" He teases her.

Mel laughed a lovely at the same time felt weird knowing that Bobby liked her.

She didn’t know whether to be happy or sad about this fact.

A moment later, she suddenly remembered something. "Andrew, why does Baby Briel call you brother while she calls Mario and Alex uncle?" Mel asked him casually, but at the same time, she realized she had just given him a hint that she was in touch with Mario and Alex.

Andrew chuckled when he found out that his wife was spilling a secret that she was currently keeping neatly. "So, you in touch Mario and Alex well, Huh?!"

Mel silent.

She had promised to tell Andrew tonight, so she just smiled and didn’t respond.

She changed the subject. "Andrew, I didn’t see Uncle Adam’s first daughter, Lizzy?"

"Maybe she’s out of the country right now," Andrew said.

Mel agreed with him. In fact, Lizzy Adams is an international movie star. For most of the year, she worked abroad. She rarely returns to this country.

It wasn’t long before dinner was served, and they were sitting at the large dining table in an enormous dining room.

Mel sat beside Andrew. Next to her sat Lilly, then Andrew’s father. In front of them sat Uncle Daniel’s family. And at the end of the table sat Grandpa Will.

Seeing Andrew’s family eat in harmony made her blissful. She had not had such a lively dinner with her family like this in a long time. She is used to eating alone, with grandma, or with Andrew.

Suddenly, Mel remembered her childhood memories. Before her parent’s divorce, her family used to be like this. Her heart tightened. She lowered her head and ate in silence while holding back her tears.

Sitting next to her, Andrew could feel that Mel was currently feeling sad while eating together with his family. This must have made her remembered her broken family. He stroked her back gently, trying to give her extra strength.

Feeling Andrew’s hand on her back, Mel raised her head and looked at Andrew. She smiled and was grateful to have a man like Andrew who really understood her feelings and thoughts. They smile through their eyes.

Lilly, who sat beside Mel, occasionally gave pieces of meat or vegetables to Mel’s plate. She was more touched by the care of Andrew’s mother, who loved her so much, she felt Lilly was like her own mother.

Without realizing it, the warm dinner ended. Everyone sat back in the family room and chatted casually.

After a while, Uncle Daniel and Aunty Megan said goodbye because the kids were tired and had to go to school tomorrow. At 9 pm, they left the W Mansion.

Arnold asks his father and Andrew to go to his study room. He wanted to say something important to Andrew.

Andrew had a hard time leaving Mel with his mother. He was afraid that her mother would make her uncomfortable.

But, Mel forced him to immediately follow his father. He had no choice. After kissing Mel’s forehead, he left her and told his mother to care for Mel.

Mel could only roll her eyes at Andrew’s attitude.

’Gosh!! Do you think I’m a kid? Needs to be looked after by your mom?’

The family room that was once lively suddenly became quiet. There was only Lilly and Mel in the room. Not long after, Lilly took Mel to the third floor.
