He quickly masked his emotions with a smile, tapped Yi Wei’s arm gently, and asked her with a grin.

Wang Wenjie feigned ignorance, but his words were laced with irony. Who in L city didn’t know that Miss Yi of the Yi family had always been free to come and go at the Yanhuang Group, as though she were at her own company?

While Wang Wenjie may not be from L city, as one of the most influential businessmen in D city, he had certainly heard this rumor through the numerous partnerships he maintained with both Yanhuang and Yi Families.

Qin Xiu silently wished luck to Yi Wei, who had gotten involved with such a calculative man, unsure whether it was a blessing or a curse for her.
