Chapter 346: Suddenly Having a Child and Grandchild
Chapter 346: Chapter 346: Suddenly Having a Child and Grandchild
"Baby, are you really okay?"
Despite finding it amusing, Yan remained concerned, he reached out to touch the little boy’s head and asked again.
The little boy was in an exceptionally good mood today and unexpectedly lifted his head and grinned at him.
"Yes, I’m okay...it felt exciting...like a roller coaster..." he replied.
The sight of his son smiling at him delighted Yan, making him feel as if he had hit the lottery. Just as he was about to say something to further bond with his son, the window was rapped on his window. Yan turned around and glared at the person outside the car!
This made his blood boil!
Fuck! So the madman who stopped the car just now was Zhu Zhizhou?
If I had known it was him, I wouldn’t have hit the brakes earlier. Running him straight down would be better!
In any case, the entrance here is fully covered with surveillance cameras, with a 360-degree no-blind-spot panoramic shooting. Evidence could easily be found to prove that this madman brought his death upon himself!
If it really happened, Yan definitely wouldn’t pity this madman and instead, would feel displeased that his car got dirty!
Yan didn’t really want to deal with this lunatic, but, after giving it thought, he slowly lowered the car window and before Zhu Zhizhou could say anything, Yan spoke with a cold voice, "Are you looking for death?"
Zhu Zhizhou didn’t have time to care at this point. He knew better than anyone the saying, a slight forbearance can lead to a great plan.
It was the case five years ago, and still is now.
"Mr. Yan...", Zhu Zhizhou started to speak and suddenly noticed the little boy in the back seat holding the puppy, and his eyes brightened, "Is that my adorable grandson?"
Yan impatiently replied, "He’s my son and has nothing to do with you!"
Originally, Yan still intended to listen to him for a while, after all, having done so many things, not listening to the other party to complain and beg for mercy would somehow diminish the pleasure of being the bad guy.
But the way Zhu Zhizhou looked at his son disgusted Yan.
In order to prevent his son from being harmed by old Zhu, Yan decided to put off watching the drama for now.
"Go back and take care of your son if you have nothing to do, my son doesn’t need your concern!", said Yan, before quickly closing the car window and picking up his phone to dial a number, "Remove this eyesore!"
Several strong men stepped out from the car that had been trailing behind them, disregarding the struggles of Zhu Zhizhou and his son, forcibly took the two away, and not until Yan’s car had driven into the gate did the men stuff the two back into their car, sternly warned them, and let them go.
After driving inside the garden, Yan parked the car, walked around to the back seat and opened the door, lifting baby boy and Star together out of the car.
Baby boy had to let go of Star, because his small stature simply couldn’t handle carrying Star which was almost as heavy as him.
Yan knelt down, touched the little boy’s head first, and asked "Does it hurt?"
The little boy was also stroking Star’s fur, with all his attention on Star. Hearing Yan’s question, he shook his head indifferently, "No, it doesn’t hurt!"
Yan touched his neck again, "Does it hurt?"
"No, it doesn’t!"
So, this simple dialogue, "Does it hurt?" "No, it doesn’t!" has been repeated between the two at least six or seven times. Fortunately, the small young master was in an extraordinarily good mood today, so he didn’t bother to pay attention to Yan’s nagging!
Yan, while touching the little boy’s head, face, hands, and legs, kept asking "Does it hurt?", helping his son check thoroughly from head to toe and after a while, he finally relaxed.
"Baby, do you want to go back by car or walk back with Star?"
Instead of answering him directly, the little boy patted Star’s head and said, "Star, let’s have a race and see who runs faster!"
As soon as his voice fell, the boy and dog started running. Yan enjoyed watching the cheerful boy running and dropped his worries. He left the car and ran after the boy.
"Star... Our garden is huge... Don’t get lost..."
Yan, following behind his son, couldn’t help but laugh when he heard his son’s words.
First, because his son finally recognized this as "our home".
Secondly, didn’t the silly boy realize that dogs have a much stronger sense of direction than their young master!
As the little young master and Star ran ahead, by logic, a dog should run much faster than a small child, but Yan noticed that Star’s pace was always consistent with the little boy’s.
In the beginning, the little boy had enough stamina and ran quite fast, and the dog followed him and also ran fast. Later, when the little boy was about to run out of energy and began to slow down, the dog also slowed down with him.
The little boy likely didn’t notice, but Yan did; Star the dog had already treated the little boy as his owner, and had established a relationship of trust and love with him.
It seems Star was a good choice!
"Star... When you get a bit older... I’ll find you a wife, okay..."
Despite being out of breath, the little boy was still chatting with his dog, what a chatterbox!
Of course, the little boy didn’t bring this up for no good reason: earlier at the animal hospital, the vet had asked for Yan and the little boy’s opinion about whether they wanted to carry out a sterilization operation on Star, and recommended that the sooner, the better.
As soon as the little boy heard this, he immediately shook his head and waved his hand in refusal, expressing, "No, no, Star will be in pain!"
His vivid and painful small expression seemed as if it was him that would suffer the pain.
The doctor then smiled and patted his head saying, "Then, baby boy, remember to find him a wife in the future, okay!"
So, the little boy remembered what the doctor said up until now.
Now, thinking back, Yan found it all the more amusing. This little boy probably doesn’t really have a clue about the concept of finding a wife, yet he offered such a heroic promise to his dog.
Luckily, "our home" is big and wealthy enough to find as many wives for Star as we like!
Thinking like this, Yan quickly caught up.
"Baby, after Star gets married, it might have lots and lots of puppies, won’t you find them annoying?"
Baby boy paused slightly and glanced at him, "Do you think I’m annoying?"
Yan was surprised by the question, and quickly burst into laughter.
"I’m your daddy, of course I think you’re not annoying! But you’re not Star’s daddy!"
Baby boy patted Star’s head and lowered his voice, "Star is my son..."
Thus, in just over a month, Yan had gone from a carefree single man to a father and a grandfather.
Even though his grandson was a ’dog’, if his son was happy, as a Dad, it seemed he did not have the right to say no!
