Cucking The Demon King
Chapter 136: You can take whatever you want

Chapter 136: You can take whatever you want

Liam’s gaze locked on the female heretic, his eyes slowly trailing over the black marks that slithered across her pale skin.

They coiled along her cheeks like parasitic veins, writhing as if alive—thick, bold scars of darkness.

They marred what might have once been a beautiful face, twisting it into something strange, almost tragic.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he studied her, then shifted to Jaegel.

The grotesque heretic had his mouth gaping open in shock, spittle oozing down his absurdly long, worm-like tongue. The tongue twitched with every breath, like it had a mind of its own.

Disgust welled up in Liam’s stomach. He turned back to the woman and suddenly asked, "Why is it that some of you heretics always have weird side effects when you get stronger?"

The question cut through the tension like a blade. The woman flinched, blinking as if she hadn’t processed the words.

Then her heart skipped a beat.

He was looking at her. Not the others—just her. His piercing red eyes were fixed on the black lines etching their way across her face, and for a fleeting moment, she felt exposed.

Her fists clenched involuntarily.

The question finally registered in her mind.

Her cheeks flushed—not in embarrassment, but in pure, livid anger.

"Y-you—!" She sputtered, fury rising like bile in her throat. "Don’t you know that’s a terrible thing to say to a woman?!"

Liam didn’t respond, he didn’t even blink to her comment.

He just kept staring at her like she wasn’t worth his time.

Like she was a rock on the path he hadn’t decided whether to step over or crush.

That indifference... that complete lack of reaction...

It made something snap inside her.

She threw her head back and roared to the sky, the sound shrill and primal.

The dark aura encasing her fists suddenly surged—like black fire igniting through her veins.

It rushed outward, engulfing her arms completely. The darkness curled and wrapped around her skin, coalescing into something denser, harder—a thick, black armour.

Meanwhile, a thinner coating of dark energy slithered across the rest of her body, clinging to her skin like a second, shimmering layer.

Her cloak fluttered behind her, whipped by the gusts of pressure now emanating from her form.

Her breathing sharpened, and she slammed her fists together.

"I’ll teach you some damn manners!"

BOOM!

A violent burst of energy exploded from the collision. The shockwave cracked through the air like thunder, scattering leaves and branches in every direction.

Jaegel flinched violently.

A chill raced down his spine as he took several quick, shaky steps back.

"She’s finally getting serious..." He muttered, tongue slithering out and curling around his neck before flopping back down.

His eyes bulged with an odd mixture of fear and awe.

Without wasting another second, Jaegel turned and bolted to the side, scurrying like a cockroach through the underbrush until he found a massive tree.

Its trunk was wide enough to conceal his hunched frame, and he crouched behind it, peeking out from behind the bark.

He didn’t want to get involved.

But he couldn’t stop watching either, curious about how this fight would end, or rather... he wanted to know how strong Liam truly was.

The woman’s form was now glowing faintly with dark light, her every breath exhaling a trail of mist. She looked like a shadow forged into the shape of a person, and her eyes were locked onto Liam with a hunger that dripped with bloodlust.

"Don’t look away now," She hissed. "This face you insulted will be the last thing you see."

Liam stepped forward, slow and unhurried.

"I’ve seen worse."

That did it.

She howled.

And then she moved.

She lunged toward him like a missile, the ground cracking beneath her feet. Darkness trailed in her wake, lashing the air like snakes as she closed the distance in a blink.

Liam’s eyes tracked her calmly, his body tensing like a coiled spring.

She came in swinging—a right hook cloaked in layered shadow armor.

Liam ducked low, twisted to the side, and let her punch sail over his head. The air quaked from the force.

Before she could recover, a pair of thick, lightning gloves materialised over his fists, and he responded with a sharp jab to her ribs.

CRACK.

The strike sent a sharp spark through the heretic’s body, and she gasped, stumbling sideways.

However, she quickly regained her footing, twisting into a spinning backhand.

Liam blocked with his forearm, skidding back a few feet. A dark smudge bloomed on his skin where her punch had landed.

’She’s fast,’ He thought, flexing his fingers. ’And strong.’

But that still wasn’t enough to defeat him.

Not nearly.

’Strength Boost!’ He thought, and a rush of power coursed through his arms.

"You’ll regret underestimating me!" she screamed, leaping again.

Her hands came together, and a violent pulse of dark energy erupted from her chest.

The aura around her expanded again, rising like an explosion of ink. It formed massive arms—darkness limbs—that mimicked her movements.

Now she was swinging with four arms—two of flesh, two of pure darkness.

Liam’s eyes narrowed.

’Dark arms... she’s a lot stronger than the others, no wonder she is their leader.’ She thought, narrowing his eyes at the incoming strikes.

But still not better than him, especially since he had both his boost skills active.

He could feel his energy draining at a rapid rate, but he had no other choice.

In order to keep himself above the heretic in terms of strength and speed, he had to go all out, or else he would be quickly defeated.

She lunged once more, launching into a barrage of rapid blows. Her fists—real and shadow—slammed into the air like hammers, forcing Liam to dodge, parry, and block in quick succession.

However, when he thought he had dodged them all, one of the large arms suddenly turned into two, the both of them heading towards him at rapid speed.

’Lightning Boots!’ He thought, and two boots of dense lightning immediately materialised around his feet.

He swiftly leapt backwards, causing the two dark arms to slam into the ground instead.

Bang!

The collision caused a loud bang, and the ground beneath them instantly shattered, chunks of earth flying all over the place.

Wind howled through the trees, and some of them were even uprooted from the sheer wind pressure.

The other arm quickly retracted back as quickly as it appeared, and thr frown on the heretic’s face deepened in annoyance.

Jaegel clutched the bark of his hiding tree, trembling. "W-what kind of monster is he?" he whispered.

Liam didn’t even look winded.

When the woman went for an overhead slam with her four fists, Liam stepped forward instead of back.

He ducked under the blow—and then his hand shot forward.

He caught her real wrist.

Another powerful shock coursed through her body, and she subconsciously came to a halt.

Before she could react, his other hand slammed into her gut.

BOOM.

The shadow armor cracked, and a violent burst of lightning exploded around her

She screamed, blood spraying from her lips.

He followed it up with a headbutt—raw and brutal.

CRACK.

Her head whipped back, and she flew through the air, slamming into a tree with enough force to splinter the trunk.

She slumped down, gasping.

And still, Liam didn’t stop.

He walked toward her, slow and steady, each footstep ringing louder than the last.

She groaned, staggering to her feet. Her shadow arms tried to reform—but they trembled, unstable.

"Y-you’re not human," She hissed.

Liam didn’t argue.

"I never claimed to be."

His hand opened—and a fireball spun into existence, burning bright and wild in his palm.

She stared at it, her lips trembling.

"You... you’ll burn everything," She whispered. "You’ll destroy this forest."

"You think I care about that?" He replied, his voice cold and indifferent.

Then without warning, he hurled the fireball.

She screamed, darkness rushing to form a shield—but it was too little, too late.

BOOOOM.

The explosion rocked the forest.

Fire swallowed the trees.

Wind screamed.

And in the aftermath, Liam stood at the center of a smoldering crater, smoke curling from his fingers.

The woman lay nearby, covered in burns, unconscious. Her dark aura had faded entirely.

Her body only kept twitching, the dark lines around her eyes slowly disintegrating into nothingness.

The rest of her team had already been burnt into nothing by the fireball, with nothing except ashes remaining of them.

’She’s still alive, but I’m sure she won’t be able to move for at least a long time.’ He thought.

He had purposely reduced the firepower of his attack, making sure it was just enough to render her powerless, and not kill her.

After all, he was still in the dark about whatever was going on, so he planned on questioning her later.

Liam exhaled, eyes scanning the ruined forest around him. He turned slightly, glancing at Emma, who still lay where he had left her, untouched by the chaos.

He walked over and knelt beside her, gently brushing her hair back.

"You’re safe," he whispered.

From behind the tree, Jaegel’s heart pounded like a drum. Sweat coated his skin.

He had no idea what to do.

No idea what to think.

All he knew was one thing:

Liam... was not normal.

Not even close.

And right now... he was terrifying.

He made a promise within himself to never cross paths with Liam, no matter what situation he might find himself in.

All he could imagine was how dead he would have been if Liam had used all these attacks back when he fought him.

’He was holding back... he was holding back so much...’ He thought, beads of tears pooling around his uneven eyes. ’Don’t worry... you’re my lord now, you can have them... my attendants, you can take whatever you want from me.’
