Chapter 34: shower together

Eamon knew the mate pull Valerion felt was partially involved here. If it wasn’t present, he could be ashes by now.

"I know you. I know just enough," Valerion assured and Eamon frowned slightly.

"What could you possibly know about me?" he asked, his voice calm.

"You are vicious yet selfless. Tough yet understanding. And you are... my very attractive and smart mate," Valerion praised, his voice sincere.

Eamon was touched. The dragon had been carefully observing him.

"You left your home and came here with the intention of saving your people. You are a good person, Eamon," Valerion added and Eamon swallowed, a small smile adorning his lips.

"You are good with words," Eamon eventually said something and Valerion smirked.

"I’m glad you are impressed," Valerion replied.

Eamon’s eyes slightly widened as he noticed the smoldering look in Valerion’s eyes.

"That doesn’t mean I am going to mate with you now," Eamon added and the dragon chuckled.

"I didn’t think so," Valerion replied once his laughter died out and he loosened his hold around Eamon.

Eamon stepped out of bed, feeling safe around the dragon that was gazing at him with a gentle look.

Valerion climbed out of the bed, his hand landing on Eamon’s wrist.

"Come with me, there is something I want you to see." Valerion offered and Eamon’s skin instantly felt warm and tingly at their skin contact.

This dragon seemed to like holding his hand and today, their palms met in a casual yet light grip.

"Okay," Eamon agreed and Valerion led the way out of the bedroom and into a relatively wide corridor.

A wooden door was pushed open shortly afterwards to reveal four small personalized round pools.

The water in them had a sparkly blue tint to it and Eamon noticed only one of them was steaming.

The other three pools were piled in an ascending order, the water flowing through them interlinked.

Valerion turned to face him with a faint smirk adorning his lips.

"Let’s shower together." He suggested and Eamon’s body burned, totally flabbergasted at his words.

"No!" He shrieked and Valerion’s brows furrowed into a small frown.

He was confused.

Eamon had a perfect body and he didn’t understand why he wanted to keep it hidden.

Dragons were usually unashamed to flaunt their fine bodies if they wanted to but Eamon was human and... maybe that changed things.

Valerion sighed softly.

"Your body is perfect." Valerion told Eamon whose eyes were glaring at him.

"I am not going to strip infront of you." Eamon said, his voice final.

"Why not?" Valerion asked, truly trying to understand why his human mate was behaving this way. They were only going to bathe!

Valerion had limited interactions with humans over the years and he couldn’t fully fathom what was going on.

Eamon blinked in disbelief. This dragon was the most shameless person he ever met.

"Because... because I don’t want you to see me naked. I need my privacy." He groaned and Valerion was rendered silent after sensing the irritation in his mate’s scent.

He still didn’t fully understand why Eamon insisted on this but he didn’t want to displease him.

"Okay." He agreed and Eamon let out a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding.

"Turn around." Eamon whispered and Valerion reluctantly did as he was told.

Eamon quickily stripped and jumped into the nearby pool, the water covering his upper body.

"I am done." He told Valerion and the dragon turned to face him.

Eamon’s eyes widened slightly at the realization that the dragon was planning on stripping infront of him.

His cheeks burned as he turned his back to avoid looking at him even though a part of him wanted to shamelessly stare!

Eamon already had a glimpse of this dragon’s magnificent body when his clothes were wet and sticking onto his body the previous day.

He felt hot and tingly all over and it was all his fault for agreeing to the dragon’s request.

Eamon was realizing just how increasingly impossible it was becoming to turn down Valerion’s bold advances.

He was damned and he knew it. This dragon was slowly starting to imprint himself into his thoughts and...heart.

Eamon heard the soft splash of water behind him and he momentarily stopped breathing when he turned, his eyes landing in Valerion who was in the same pool with him!

His heart raced as he took in the breath taking view of the dragon that was standing just a couple of steps away from him, the hot steam of the water making him look very alluring.

Eamon swallowed hard as he stepped back.

"There are other pools." Eamon whispered, becoming increasingly aware that he was totally naked and so was Valerion.

The dragon quirked up a brow and feigned an innocent look.

"You want me to bathe cold water?" He asked and Eamon glanced at the other pools that weren’t steaming.

Smart dragon.

He thought as he leaned back into the wall, his eyes on Valerion keen and alert.

A lot could happen now that they were both naked and soaked. Eamon wasn’t ready for any deeper kinds of intimacy.

"Relax, I promise I will try not to pounce on you." Valerion smirked and Eamon scrutinized the dragon.

"You won’t." Eamon whispered and Valerion’s eyes darkened as he took in his appearance.

"You look so tempting and sometimes I am not fully in control. I cannot promise much, Eamon." Valerion smiled painfully, his eyes honest as they met Eamon’s.

A short silence passed on between them.

"If you touch me, I will...I will bite you." Eamon threatened only for his cheeks to burn when Valerion smirked.

"Where exactly...here or...here?" He teased seductively as his index finger touched his lips and trailed lower to his chest in a slow motion that made Eamon gulp as his eyes followed the movement.

He was utterly and totally seduced.

"If you don’t keep your hands to yourself, this will be the last time we shower together." Eamon whispered, his voice a stern whisper as he tried to disregard the the intense heat that had settled at his groin.

His manhood was hard. Rock hard from this dragon’s actions.

Valerion’s mood instantly darkened. He wanted to continue doing this with Eamon.

It was quite intimate and he could continue slowly seducing him until he gave in.

Valerion told his dragon to behave if they were to eventually have their mate.

The beast was reluctantly compliant.
