Creating A Succubus Army In A Fantasy World! -
Chapter 48: Secret Realm!
Chapter 48: Secret Realm!
The team had been trudging through the Verdant Night Forest for three hours straight.
The journey to this point had been anything but easy.
Along the way, they had torn through two entire layers of enemies and crushed two minor bosses, leaving a trail of smoldering corpses, shattered trees, and a whole lot of exhaustion in their wake.
Mia was hunched over slightly, gulping down an energy serum like a woman who had just escaped the desert.
Rin and Rai both sat on a large rock, their chests rising and falling rapidly, their hands shaking slightly from the constant strain of battle.
They chugged down stamina serums to restore their bodies, but even then, their minds were just as worn out as their muscles.
Only one person looked completely unbothered.
Creed.
Not only did he look fine, but he was actually grinning like a fool. Yes, in this dense, dark and absolutely scary rainforest, he was grinning like a besotted idiot!
He stood at the edge of the group, barely even sweating, his eyes glued to the transparent system notifications hovering in front of his face.
Was he tired?
Of course, he wasn’t a robot after all. In fact, he probably had the lowest energy levels among the group!
But did he care?
... A little?
Lilith and Tierra had already returned to the intricate tattoos on his chest, vanishing into their respective sigils.
Without them around, Creed had nothing else to focus on but the beautiful sight before him.
And it was such a beautiful sight!
[Speed Stat Points Gained: +16]
Sixteen whole points!
His eyes gleamed with excitement.
’Holy shit. If I just kept raiding rifts like this... wouldn’t I be able to stack up stats and build an absolutely broken body?’
His mind raced.
Right now, his physical strength was already at Stage 1 physique level, meaning he was as strong as the average Stage 1 physique who had fully developed their body.
But speed...
If he dumped all these points into speed, his movement would also break into Stage 1 physique level!
He nearly cackled.
’Why even stop here?!’ he thought gleefully. ’If I keep this up, I’ll turn into an absolute monster!’
Without wasting another second, he allocated all 16 stat points to speed.
[Speed: 15 > 31]
Instantly—
His entire body shivered. 31 stats in speed was no joke!
A strange lightness spread through him, like someone had unshackled invisible weights he didn’t even know he was carrying his whole life.
His muscles became tighter, more compact, but also incredibly flexible.
He lifted his hand and nearly gasped at how fluid the motion was.
’This isn’t just raw speed...’ Creed realized, rolling his shoulder. ’My flexibility and balance got a huge boost too!’
He bent forward slightly, then casually sprang into the air—
Only to realize he had jumped five meters high without even trying.
FIVE METERS!
’Oh, this is gonna be FUN.’
Creed landed softly, his legs absorbing the force perfectly. Now all he needed was a Stage 1 movement technique, and he would become a goddamn blur in battle!
Before he could start fantasizing about his future speed demon lifestyle, Ivy suddenly raised a hand.
The group froze.
Creed’s instincts sharpened instantly. His eyes flicked to Ivy—she was standing perfectly still, her gaze locked on something up ahead.
Slowly, he turned his head and followed her line of sight.
Then he saw it. And for the first time today—his grin faded. A ten-meter-tall monkey stood before them.
But this one was different.
Unlike the black-furred monkeys they had been fighting all day, this one’s fur was pure white.
Its tail, however, was pitch black, the exact opposite of the others.
And behind it—
A small, green crack floated in the air.
A dimensional fissure!
A sudden wave of pressure radiated from the massive beast, heavier than anything Creed had felt from the earlier bosses.
His hands instinctively gripped his spear. His battle high was gone.
This wasn’t just a strong opponent. This thing was on a different level!
But what was truly stunning was the crack behind it!
The team remained silent as they stared at the crack in space.
Even Creed, who had spent the past three hours grinning like an idiot, found himself momentarily speechless.
That green fissure floating in the air—wasn’t just any crack.
It was a Secret Realm!
And that meant one thing.
’Holy shit. This... this is a jackpot!’
Secret Realms were legendary occurrences in rift expeditions.
The chance of finding one was one in a thousand, meaning even most veteran adventurers never got to step into one in their entire lives!
They were like stumbling into the hidden vault of a realm—an entire pocket dimension filled with natural treasures, ancient relics, and powerful resources left behind by whoever or whatever had once ruled over it.
To put it simply—
A Secret Realm was money, power, and opportunity wrapped up into a single glowing crack in space!
Creed’s eyes practically shimmered with greed.
’I just hit the damn lottery!’ he thought, barely holding back a grin. ’Imagine the treasures inside! Rare herbs? Powerful weapons? Maybe even an intent fruit?!’
The mere thought sent a rush of excitement through his veins. If he played this right, he wouldn’t just walk away richer—he’d walk away stronger!
Ivy, however, remained calm despite the massive discovery.
She took a deep breath and slowly retreated a few steps, motioning for the others to do the same.
"Alright," she said seriously. "We need to decide—do we risk it?"
The group exchanged glances.
Risking it was an understatement.
Because the one thing stopping them from waltzing into that realm was the massive ten meter tall Stage 5 Monkey Guardian standing in front of it!
And that beast?
It was no joke.
This wasn’t just any Stage 5 beast. It was at the absolute peak of the Dimensional Beast hierarchy—one step below a Beast Lord!
Its sheer presence made the air feel heavier, and its dark, beady eyes scanned the surroundings with an eerie, calculating intelligence.
Even from this distance, Creed could feel a subtle pressure pressing against his chest.
But despite all that, every single person in the group still chose to risk it.
Because this chance was too good to pass up!
Even if it was dangerous. Even if they might die. A Secret Realm could change everything.
Ivy let out a small sigh and ran a hand through her silver hair.
"I won’t lie," she said. "I can’t guarantee your safety. This thing is far stronger than anything we’ve fought so far. But if we all go all out—"
She paused, her calm eyes sharpening.
"We might just win."
The tension in the air thickened. Then she turned to Creed and Mia.
"You two should stay back."
Creed blinked. "Hah?"
Mia frowned. "What?!"
"You’re both too weak," Ivy said bluntly.
"This isn’t an insult—it’s just a fact. This thing is a monster, and if either of you go down, we’ll be forced to protect you instead of fighting it at full power. So I need you to—"
"Nope." Creed cut her off immediately.
Mia also crossed her arms. "Yeah, screw that."
Ivy’s brow twitched.
"I just explained why—"
"Too bad." Creed rolled his shoulders and spun his spear. "We’re still fighting."
"Yeah!" Mia added, her vine-covered staff glowing faintly. "I’m not sitting this one out!"
Ivy sighed in exasperation but didn’t argue further. Instead, she turned her eyes forward. The giant white monkey still hadn’t moved.
It simply stood there, watching it’s surroundings. It hadn’t reacted to their presence as of yet.
And then—
It roared.
A deafening blast of sound ripped through the air, shaking the ground beneath them and sending leaves flying in all directions.
The sheer force of it made Creed’s chest tremble.
’This thing is on a whole different level...’
He had faced many beasts before—but never something that made his very soul shudder from just a roar!
He exhaled sharply. It was time to stop messing around. His blue pupils burned as he clenched his spear.
"Empowerment," he muttered.
BOOM.
A violent shockwave burst from his body as his aura flared to life, surging through his veins like liquid fire.
His muscles tightened, his senses sharpened, and the very air around him crackled with raw, untamed energy.
The real fight had just begun!
