Despite her reluctance, Diana stayed put in his arms as he kicked open the door and entered the room which was enshrouded in darkness. The moonlight cast soft shadows over them, highlighting their features.

The moment her words dropped, his gaze darkened as he tilted her chin and captured her lips. His thumb remained on her jawline while the other fingers dug into her blonde hair, stroking the shell of her ear.

Their bodies pressed together heatedly and her scent enthralled his senses. She smelled of roses and addictions. He wished he could tell her yet he was losing his sanity every second in her presence.

Her palm climbed up to his chest as they breathed heavily, lips pressed against each other. She could taste their shared breath, and feel the thud of their combined heartbeat as she fumbled to take off his clothes.

Maxim unhooked her bra with a single twist of his fingers, catching her off guard. Diana gasped against his mouth when his fingers stroked her waist, gently gliding up her curves as his fingers dug into her skin.

Their lips parted and he leaned towards her ear. His warm breath stroked her ear as his long fingers wrapped around her breast, cupping it softly before he squeezed it hard. She gasped and her back arched, her body pressing against his.

Knowing that he was the cause of it, his heart ached, ’’I am sorry.’’

Her lips parted but before she could say anything, she heard him speak, ’’I will make it up to you. I promise.’’

And she had yet to comprehend the meaning behind his words when he raised her leg, hooking it on his shoulder as he trailed wet kisses down to her thighs. His fingers played with the strings of her panties before he slipped a finger inside them.

She gasped when he dragged the finger down her slick folds, playing and teasing with them, ’’Maxim...’’ she breathed his name on instinct as her back arched under his ministrations.
