"Stop the car and let me go!" I scream back and not even caring about the car that is in motion, he comes at me like a mad man, clawing for my phone.

"Give me that damned phone champagne!" He yells back.

"Rowan! You will get us both killed! Leave me alone!!" I scream while, being thrown around in the uncontrolled car and also trying to look at the road before us.

"Rowan!!!" I scream, I can hear cars honking, and he doesn’t even car, all he wants is to collect that phone from me and he yanks the phone out off my hand but not before I click on the send icon.

"Rowan! Look at the damn road in—" My words fly away and are suppressed by the stinging sensation I am suddenly feeling on my face. He’s no longer doing a tug-owar with me, he’s seated back on his seat and his hands are on the wheel again, but the hotness of his slap still lingers on my face. My entire jaw feels like it has been rearranged.

He just slapped me. Hah! I guess I’m in for one hell of a ride.

I scoff, "Are you sure that was me and not Alicia?" I scoff again, I look up quickly trying to scan the area to see if I can find my phone. Shit, it’s too far. I can’t reach it and run out at the same time.

Just as he’s about to grab me, with everything I have, I send all the strength in me to my knee and hit him hard in the abdominal region. Without wasting any time, I find the door handle, push it open and just as I step out and breathe in the fresh air outside the car, his hand viciously enters my head and I scream as he pulls me.

But not caring about the pain, I hold his hand, twist and turn till I’m staring at him again then bite his arm.

"Ahhh! You bitch!!" He screams and slaps me with his other hand again, and my teeth tightens even more around his arms to the point I can taste his blood.

At that moment he releases my hair and without any reason to wait, I run.

I have no idea where I’m running to but, anywhere, anywhere is better than the hands of Rowan Fletcher.
