"Uhm, I’m not," Dante said.

"You defeated four martial artists at once and you claimed you’re not a superhuman?"

"And you even protected her from a dark energy that reduced those martial artists into lumps of meat and blood," the investigator pointed to Megan.

Dante remained calm. "Uhm, if you don’t believe me, there’s someone from the superhuman class who can tell lies and truth, actually."

"Wait, Dante. Are you talking about my cousin?" For some reason, Megan suddenly said, asking him.

"Ha?" Dante gawked. "I don’t know if she’s your cousin. I just saw her at the gate this morning."

"You’re indeed talking about her."

She’s her cousin? Dante was slightly surprised.

"If that’s true, let’s call her here," suggested one of the investigators.

A few minutes later, the girl Dante saw at the gate this morning arrived in the private room.

Upon her arrival, she quickly introduced herself.

"My name is Zizi. How may I help you?" She asked politely.

"Zizi!"

"Eh? Megan? You’re here too?"

The investigators then asked Zizi if she truly could see the truth and lie from a person.

"Yes. My heavenly gift is known as The Eyes of Truth and Lies. I can tell if a person is lying or not," Zizi replied.

The investigators looked very surprised by her ability.

"Wow, that ability is very amazing!"

After receiving praise, Zizi’s face turned slightly red.

"I-It’s not that amazing..."

The investigators then explained to Zizi about her role in this investigation which she immediately understood.

"I see. I’ll do it. She looked at Dante."

All of a sudden, fresh memories came to her mind. She remembered his face. He was the person she saw this morning.

As instructed, she asked him a question. "Are you a superhuman?"

Dante once again shook his head. "No."

Her eyes glowed in a bluish color like this morning. She put back her eyeglasses and confirmed her assessment.

"He’s telling the truth."

"Is that so?"

The investigators looked dejected.

"So he’s not a superhuman. Are you perhaps a martial artist then?"

The investigator asked Dante to which he responded with a shook of his head.

"I’m not. But I have experience in combat."

The investigators glanced at Zizi and she told them he was telling the truth.

Sujin and the others weren’t surprised at all.

They saw how Dante defeated those martial artists. But it was still very surprising that Dante could actually fight. And yet, everyone in school was looking down on him and even saying some hurtful words before.

Defeating those martial artists only means he was not only at the level of mere know-how to fight, but someone really good at it.

However, despite being good at fighting, it was still unfortunate because nowadays merely being good at fighting is nothing compared to being a superhuman.

This was the start of an era where superpowers and super technologies ruled.

After getting all their statements and finding no inconsistencies, the investigators concluded their investigation.

Their only suspicion was the student named Dante. Among them, only he appeared normal and calm while the others were still terrified by the incident. Was that because of his upbringing as someone who knows how to fight?

As Dante and Sujin walked along the street heading to their homes, a black sedan car stopped right beside them.

"Holy!" Startled, Sujin exclaimed.
