"This guy has seriously lost his mind" Gabriel muttered watching Noah who kept on looking at the ultrasound copy of his unborn child for god knows how long.

"We can’t blame him. Even I did the same" Tristan said eyeing Noah who didn’t stop smiling from the time he arrived at the base.

His reactions were similar to his and Tristan could relate to how it felt to see your child for the first time.

Gabriel eyed Tristan and watched him smile along. He felt sad to watch him but at the same time, he was happy his friend was doing well.

"Guys, who do you think the child looks like?" Noah who was busy observing the picture suddenly asked. His confused eyes moved simultaneously between the two as he showed them the photo.

Gabriel who was already annoyed by his stupid smile, got even more irritated when he asked him something even he couldn’t answer for now.

"You think we can see through that small dot" he flared and watched Noah look into the picture.

"Tch.. I think my baby girl will look like me" Noah answered making Tristan and Gabriel roll their eyes in disbelief.

"Baby girl!.. how does he even know the bean is a boy or girl? You can’t even differentiate" Gabriel snapped.

He was about to shoot back but Tristan stopped him. "Let him be. We all know the child won’t inherit his father’s look" his words made Noah snap at him.

"Why would you say that? Don’t you think I am good looking" he asked.

Noah always wanted a girl who had his eyes and lips. He wanted a daddy’s girl whom he would pamper and spoil to the extent that even after she grows up and marries a guy, she won’t have the heart to leave her parents. Rather ask her husband to stay with them.

"You are but do you want your daughter to inherit all your qualities " Tristan stretched the last word, eyeing Noah meaningfully and watched him shake his head.

"No!.. I don’t want anyone to woo her when she grows up, NEVER" Noah quickly pointed.

He knew he was way too good-looking and had charms that made any woman fall weak on their knees. He was certified as a playboy for no reason. If his daughter happens to inherit all his good looks then it will be impossible for him to stop the boys who would volunteer to court her in the future.

’No!... I won’t let them lay their dirty eyes on my daughter’

’But that doesn’t mean it would still stop them from wooing her even if she has her mother’s beautiful features’

Noah’s face turned pale at the realization and he slumped back in his seat in defeat. "I am doomed" he voiced

Both Gabriel and Tristan burst into a pit of laughter watching Noah’s defeated face.

This man is hopeless... they mentally claimed before returning to the purpose of their gathering.

"Anyways, let’s get back to what we are here for" Tristan said changing his entire aura in the blink of an eye.

Looking at Noah he said," I want you to find someone"

"Tell me"

"Someone is trying to defame Ashley. They even tried to leak information about our marriage publicly, but the problem is the ID from which they posted the photos wasn’t permanent"

Pulling out his phone, Tristan sent Noah an email and said," Fox Feed media received this email from an anonymous sender, but we aren’t able to find the person since the ID got discarded just after sending the email"

Noah read the email carefully noticing the form on how the ID was formed. "Give me some time I will help you track the person," he said after examining the message.

Giving him a nod Tristan then looked at Gabriel," Any news about Sandra?" he asked.

"No.. not yet but our men found someone similar to her who was admitted to a small local hospital on the outskirts, but before we could reach there the person was gone"

Gabriel’s words made Tristan frown. "It’s her. Keep looking for her and find her as soon as possible" he instructed with his eyes turning dark at the thought of Sandra being alive.

The day they couldn’t find her after falling into the water, he was sure that she managed to escape their claws. And before she comes back to destroy their lives again, he has to catch her.

Gabriel gave him a nod and soon the boys left the base.

On his way, Tristan received a call from Ashley who informed him that she could come home late as she had plans with Alice.

Giving his wife the time to catch up with her friends and resume her life like before, Tristan drove back to the company.

[Ryan’s apartment]

After driving from Skylar Corps. Ryan returned home and was patiently waiting for Linda. He wanted to confront her about her absurd behavior.

He wanted to know why she had been acting this way and the reason for her leaving him that day.

As he was busy pondering his thoughts, the door of his house opened and Linda walked in. She had been too upset with the way he had talked to her earlier, but the moment her eyes fell on his figure, all her anger dissipated.

Don’t know why a sudden fear engulfed her heart as she recalled about her child.

’Should I tell him’ she thought staring at him from a distance when suddenly Ryan turned his head towards her.

"You are finally here" his cold voice made her flinch and she snapped out of her trance.

’No, I can’t. Ryan will kill me if he finds that we lost out child’

Linda knew it was both of their faults that cost their unborn life. If they had controlled themselves, it wouldn’t have been this way.

But then wasn’t it him who forced himself on her even when she tried to stop him?

Linda blamed Ryan for being a horny bastard who couldn’t even control his lust for her.

Her face instantly stiffened when she recalled how blood oozed down her legs and how she lost her baby.

"Why did you call me Ryan? Don’t you know whenever I don’t answer your calls it means I am busy" Lind flared keeping a straight face and walked towards the couch.

"Oh... and what kind of work you are busy with? Please enlighten me" Ryan let out a disgusting chuckle and stood up to face her.

Terror flickered through his eyes which somehow intimidated Linda for a moment.
