Ashley called Miley and decided to discuss the schedule with her. Now that she was fine, she didn’t want to extend her commitments.

She wanted to immerse her attention in her work and forget about the pain she would feel whenever she wasn’t doing anything.

Once she was done informing everything to Miley, the manager left. Sitting on the couch for some time, Ashley then walked into the balcony. The sun had almost set, slowly turning the cloud dark, just like her heart.

Unknowingly her hand cupped her stomach and the wound in her heart opened.

Helplessly, she closed her eyes and tried to think of her child. She recalled the moment when she would talk with him, telling him stories and asking him to grow fast so they would meet him soon.

But all of her dreams were shattered because of someone’s cruelty.

Sandra not only killed her child, she ended up killing her too. This void in her heart wouldn’t go away unless she revenge on her.

Standing still she let the cool breeze brush her skin when suddenly a pair of strong arms snaked her from behind.

"Let me warm you up" Tristan muttered engulfing her in his arms while his chin rested on her shoulder.

Ashley didn’t open her eyes and let her body relax in his solace. Staying like that for some time, she finally opened her eyes and turned to face him.

Tucking away the strand of hair from her forehead, Tristan leaned forwards and pecked her lips.

"I love you," he said and watched her smile.

"I know" she answered and hugged him back, resting her head against his chest and took a deep breath.

"You keep on telling me this every time. Why?" she asked.

"Because I want you to know that no matter what happens my love for you will never fade. I will heal you, Ash" he expressed.

"Hmm..." she hummed and snuggled closer into his chest.

Standing there for sometime, Ashley then slowly pulled back at stared at Tristan meaningfully.

"Can you take me somewhere" she asked.

This was the first time after returning home Ashley expressed a request to take her out. Just the words left from her mouth and he immediately bobbed

"Get change, we will strode around the town and have dinner outside" Tristan replied, soon both making their way inside the room.

Tori had just stepped out taking shower when suddenly Max engulfed her from behind. She only had a towel wrapped around herself and Max could already breath the freshly scent of her body wash.

"Hmm... I shouldn’t have let you go" he mumbled brushing his lips on her neck.

Tori could only smile on his words. This man who never let his emotions out was being clingy and demanding to her.

Letting him hold her for sometime, she then patted his cheeks and asked him to let her go.

"Let me change" she said and he simply shook his head in denial.

"Let me hold you for sometime" he said and snuggled his face deeper in the crock of her neck.

"Let go Max, I am already late" this time she raised her voice a little and unwrapped his arms around her waist, pushing him a little.

"Then let me tag you. I promise I won’t interrupt your time with you father" he expressed putting on an innocent face.

Patrick requested Tori to meet him once before he leaves Country S. He asked her to come along but she simply declined his request decided to stay her with everyone.

She was already a part of well known organization and she choose to remain loyal to them. But more than that she wanted to be with Max, her beloved and find happiness she missed all her life.

Respecting her decision, Patrick didn’t force her but he requested her to spend some time with him before his departure.

Pondering for sometime, she finally bobbed her head and agreed with Max tagging her along.

There was also another reason why she agreed. Tori wanted to introduce him to her father. Though their bond wasn’t that strong still she felt the need for him to know about the man she loved.

Stretching a full-fledge smile, Max finally let go of her and rushed inside the bathroom.

Getting changed the couple then left his house and driving Patrick’s end. He had already informed his guards about her visit and also asked the cook to prepare food that she likes.

Tori was too small when she left so he had no idea about her preference. He had only heard it from Sandra whenever he would ask her about her sister.

She was just like him when it came to food, so it didn’t take him time to state what he had to prepare for the dinner.

Listening the car honk from outside, Patrick understood, it was Tori.

Leaving the things he was doing he quickly made his way downstairs and found his daughter enter along with a man, whom he was well aware of, Max, Gabriel’s most trusted man.

Eyeing them from a distance something clicked in Patrick’s mind and smile automatically made it way to his lips.

Reaching the living hall Patrick welcomed the two. Watching her father widen his arms for a hug, she didn’t hold back and embraced him.

This was the first time after so many years she was able to feel her fathers solace and unknow to her the uneasiness in her heart quickly calmed down.

"I am so happy that you came" he said pulling away and then turned to look at Max, passing him a polite smile.

"Please have a seat" he said pointing at the couch.

"Umm... d-dad this is for you" Tori extended the bag she had been holding in her hand toward Patrick and watched him look at it with surprise.

"It’s for me" he asked.

"Hmm..." she hummed and he quickly took the bag from her.

Patrick thought after whatever happened back then Tori would refuse to make amends. But when she first time contacted him after they met, he felt so overwhelmed.

He didn’t mind if she had any motived behind that call, still Patrick couldn’t stop himself from smiling. He knew to gain her trust he had to be patience, but Sandra’s one move spoiled everything.

He thought helping them would let him live with peace along with his daughter, but Sandra ended up ruining everything and now, he was left with nothing but loneliness.
