"Scoff! Don’t tell me you believed his lie?" Tristan asked letting out a humorless laugh.

Ashley saw the irritation in his face and the sarcasm in his tone. ’He doesn’t believe her’

Pursing her lips into a thin line, Ashley watched him leave her side. "I think you should rest. We will talk about this later" he said and started to leave but Ashley stopped him.

"And why do you think, it’s him behind the accident? Did we find out about the suspicious person disguising himself as one of the safety team members? Moreover, why would Gabriel even try to come to the shooting spot after he learned about the accident" she said pointing out the facts.

In the beginning, even though she thought it was Gabriel behind this sudden accident but then when they learned that one of the crew members was missing since the incident took place, her doubt slowly began to falter and then Gabriel coming to meet her made all her doubts about him disappear.

Tristan turned and looked at Ashley in disbelief. He couldn’t believe she was still siding with him even after everything was crystal clear to them.

Gabriel had openly challenged him that he would snatch his most precious person away from him then how can he not blame him for whatever happened with her today? But here she is going on defending him.

Tristan was hurt by her words and decided to keep silent but when Ashley didn’t see him respond, she quickly stood up and grabbed his hand but before she could say a word, he spoke instead.

"Let us first get hold of that man until then I don’t want to talk about Gabriel" Tristan said and pulled his hand out from her hold with him walking out of the room leaving Ashley all by herself.

Ashley could only watch him leave as she knew Tristan won’t listen to her until they find the man who tamper with the brakes.

Alice had been more alert about her surrounding after that day when Brooke tried to force her. That man was like a gust of wind coming and going from her sight scaring her to death.

Though she managed to break free from his hold yet she could forget the fear she felt with him being so close to her, so Noah assigned his men to monitor her secretly and update him whenever they see Brooke lurking around her.

Sitting inside her office, Alice had been doing her work attentively when her phone rang, and she paused. Averting her eyes to her right she looked at the caller and a deep frown marred her forehead.

"Whose number is this?" she mumbled before taking the call.

"Hello!" she spoke

Pouting her lips in confusion, she pulled back her cell phone and watched the call was still on then why wasn’t anyone speaking?

Bringing the phone back to her ear, she once again spoke," Hello, who’s this?" the second she finished speaking Alice heard someone’s panting sound from the other side of the call and her eyes grew wide in shock.

"Alice..." the moment she heard her name from the other end her body froze. "Brooke..."

"Damn... you know Alice how much I want to put my D**k into your mouth," Brooke said as he kept satisfying himself using his hand while his mind imagine Alice in front of him doing all the stuff of satisfaction on his body.

Brooke had gone wild with his desire for Alice so he started masturbating himself imagining her in his vision. Her eyes turned red as she kept emptying herself until she felt better and pulled back. Cleaning up she looked at herself in the mirror and recalled how disgusting Brooke’s words were.

Stepping out she walked back to her desk when her phone buzzed and a message popped into her notification tap. She noticed the same unknown number and decided to ignore it and resumed back her work.

The message kept on popping for a whole minute and suddenly her phone rang. Thinking it must be Brooke she picked up the call in fury and yelled. "Listen Brooke I am warning you for the last time. Don’t ever try to call me or else I will inform the cops about your annoying act"

"Brooke?" Alice’s mouth shut the second she heard the voice and gasped.

"Noah?" she muttered with her eyes going wide once again realizing it wasn’t Brooke who called her but it was Noah and to confirm it with her own eyes, she pulled back the phone and saw Noah’s name on the caller ID.

’DAMN..’ cursing herself mentally she pulled the phone back on her ear and said, "Noah" Calling his name Alice force an awkward smile hoping he didn’t hear all her words but the second she heard him her smile dropped.

"Is Brooke again trying to bother you?" Noah sounded displeased because he had heard her words very clearly, especially the name Brooke.

Alice pursed her lips tightly and hummed. Now that he had already heard her yelp there was nothing she could hide.

"What did he try to do?" listening to her slow hum, Noah quickly questioned.

Waiting for a few seconds, Alice took a deep breath and told Noah everything. Alice could imagine what was going to come after she finishes so she mentally prepared herself for it but when the person from the other end turned extremely silent, that was when she started to get nervous.

Noah’s anger was somewhat easier to handle but when he turn so quietly without showing his displeasure, that would make her feel more nervous.

When she could handle the silence, Alice was about to speak but Noah spoke instead," Alice, I want you to do something for me?" his words made her crease her brows and she quickly agreed without questioning him further.

"Listening to me carefully," Noah said and started to explain everything.

After a long conversation, Alice finally bobbed her head agreeing to his words. "Okay, I will do as you say" With that they both ended the call and she opened the text messages Brooke send her and started saving them into her drive.

With an evil grin, Alice tapped the save button and heaved out a sigh, and said," You can’t escape every time Brooke. This time you will be in prison for life long"
