Tristan’s eyes shimmered as he watched the smile on his face completely disappear.

Taking a step closer to him he then mumbled," I know what you were trying to do there, but let me warn you, Riel. My wife has nothing to do with whatever happened back then. Keep her out of this" he warned but as expected Gabriel didn’t bat an eye on his threat.

Gabriel chuckled making Tristan frown. He still felt that he would listen to his words. No way, after whatever he did, there was no way he would give in to his words. They were just to brainwash him.

"Your words don’t threaten me, Tristan. They are just as shallow as you are. And as far as keeping your wife is concerned. I can’t change my mind because she has already played an important part in my revenge against you. How can I let her go when she is the only weakness of yours, that can make me reach my goals" Riel smirked and saw Tristan’s face turn ugly.

He was so irked by his words that he couldn’t contain his anger and was about to punch him when Karl came in between and stopped Tristan from doing anything reckless.

They were still at the Blue Kite company and he didn’t want them to gather any attention.

"Oh, so your loyal dog is here too." Riel even mocked Karl, but the latter chose to ignore it. He knew Gabriel was purposely trying to create a ruckus.

"Boss, we can’t let him get what he wants" Karl warned Tristan, giving him a meaningful stare.

Gritting his teeth, Tristan jerked Karl’s hand off him and stared at Gabriel." You dare touch a strand of her hair Gabriel. I will cut that hand off your shoulder and I mean it. Do not test my silence for my weakness because you too know, I won’t stop once I make up my mind to destroy you completely"

"I’ll wait for that day" with a challenging tone, Riel walked away from there.

"He isn’t going to stop. Keep an eye on his every move Karl. Make sure we are two steps ahead of whatever he is planning to do" Tristan instructed and they both soon left from there.

Inside the car, the atmosphere had turned so suffocating that both Jack and Miley were sweating profoundly even with the AC on.

Both Jack and Miley were unaware of Tristan being one of the producers of the movie. Just like their lady boss even they received a big shock.

Moving her eyes to the right, she saw Ashley leaning against the seat with her eyes closed. Miley gulped down the lump form in her throat as she knew though she appeared calm from the outside, inside she must be fuming.

After a long silence finally she spoke making the two flinch at her words. "How many scenes do I have with Riel Scott" the coldness in her voice made the two share a glance at each other.

Clearing her throat, Miley opened the tab in her hand before she looked back at Ashley and answered," More than twenty scenes with three love scenes"

Ashley shot her eyes open and looked at Miley in horror. Just a small talk between her and Riel made Tristan boil in jealousy. What was she supposed to do when he kept on coming to the sets, watching them doing the love scenes?

This thought never crossed her mind because she never thought Tristan would end up buying a whole production company just so he could keep an eye on her.

’I have to talk about this with Tristan’ with this thought in mind, Ashley asked Jack to drive her back to the mansion.

Not after Ashley reached the house, Tristan too drove back to the Knight Mansion. He had to clear the misunderstanding with Ashley. She had to understand, he had his reasons behind this decision.

Marching straight toward their room, Trista barged but didn’t find Ashley there and the creepiness in his heart began to increase widely.

The way she had walked over him made him feel helpless. He was so blinded by his possessiveness over her that he didn’t realize he ended up upsetting her even more.

He walked out of the room and kept looking for her everywhere inside the house but couldn’t find her anywhere. Just when he was about to call Jack, Tristan remembered one place which he didn’t see.

Rushing upstairs taking a few long strides, Tristan reached the terrace of the mansion and looked around frantically for Ashley. Just when he was about to lose hope, his eyes caught a figure standing far away, with her back facing him.

Finding his heartbeat returning, Tristan heaved out a sigh of relief as his head fell in defeat. Composing his distraught appearance, he then slowly walked to her and stood by her side.

No one said a word and let the silence between them speak loudly.

"I thought you trusted me enough but I guess I was wrong. You never had faith in me" Ashley muttered but never once she turned to face him.

She was very upset with him, but now when she gave it a thought she realized Tristan wasn’t someone who would make a decision without her consent unless he had his reasons.

"Did you expect me to say this to you" her words took Tristan by surprise and his eyes grew large as he watched her turn and smile at him.

"Y-you aren’t upset" he stuttered as he asked her.

"Of course I am and for that, I won’t easily forgive you. But now that you have already made up your mind, what do you plan to do? Will you keep coming on sets and keep bothering everyone around" Ashley asked and this time he sensed the seriousness in her words.

Tristan opened his mouth to answer her yes but when he saw her cross her over her chest, the words died in his mouth as he gulped them down.

"I am sure, you were going to say yes, but don’t you think it will only create more misunderstanding between us" Ashley wanted to put some brain in his head. He can’t let his jealousy screw everything.

They were two individuals with different careers and they can keep meddling in it. or else it will only create problems and nothing else.

Tristan pursed his lips with his eyes looking at her pitifully." I am sorry" he mumbled and reached his hand touching the helm of her shirt as he innocently tugged it.

Ashley let out a soft chuckle as she couldn’t even remain upset with him for too long. This man was like a child around her, making mistakes and then even seek for forgiveness using adorable ways.
