Noah’s hand slowly started to inch closer between her legs as he watched her suck a deep breath.

Noah never imagined marrying someone in his entire life but here he was proposing to Alice.

Alice now understood why he was leaving. He thought she wasn’t sure about him. He mistook her silence for her hesitation.

’How stupid of him to assume like this’

Flicking his forehead Alice heard him groan." Ouch..."

"WHAT!!" Ashley was in the middle of something when she received a call from Alice informing her about her and Noah’s decision on getting married.

Jack and Miley who were standing next to her gaped and then turned to look at each other as they shrugged their shoulder finding Ashley’s reaction a little strange.

" Why is she screaming?" Jack asked suddenly getting suspicious.

"I don’t know" Miley whispered, shaking her head in denial.

As they carefully eyed her from the side, they found Ashley suddenly bursting into a smile.

Both Miley and Jack were surprised by her change in mood, and once again glanced at each other confusingly.

"It calls for celebration," Ashley said and Alice agreed with her.

"Of course, my place tonight," Alice said and then ended the call once everything was decided.

Ashley was happy for her friend. She was finally getting married to someone, who knew how to love and cherish her.

Turning around with a bright smile on her face Ashley was about to disclose this news to Jack and Miley but when she faced them, the smile on her face slowly dropped and she creased her brows in confusion.

"What’s wrong with you both and... why are you giving that weird look," Ashley asked moving her eyes between Miley and Jack simultaneously.

They were currently standing outside Dante’s ward when Ashley received Alice’s call and she had to stop entering inside. She was so surprised that she forgot the surroundings and squeal in excitement.

Both Jack and Miley shook their head, quickly composing their looks, and smiled. "Nothing lady boss. We were just assuring that everything is fine with you" Jack spoke meekly and glanced at Miley who too bobbed her head agreeing to his statement.

Staring at them for some time, Ashley cleared her frown, and once again she smiled. Not able to hold her excitement, Ashley quickly knocked on Dante’s ward’s door and stepped in.

Dante was happy to see Ashley. After getting admitted Taylor stopped everyone from meeting the old man as he didn’t want his patient to go through any emotional roller coaster ride before the surgery. But Ashley begged him to spare her some time and here she was having cheerful conversations with Dante.
