Chapter 269: Do as I say!

By the time Ashley stepped out of the mansion, Jack and Miley were already waiting for her.

With a pleasant smile on Miley’s face, she greeted Ashley." You seem to be happy Miley. Is there any occasion" she asked.

Miley wasn’t someone who opened up so easily, but today watching her smile made Ashley happy too.

Miley shook her head denying her assumption and sneaking a peak at Jack. The man quickly turned his eyes away and walked around Ashley, greeting her politely.

Ashley had been observing the two and she noticed there was something different with the way she kept sharing a glance at each other.

Keeping her thoughts to herself, Ashley watched Jack open the door and she climbed in.

Miley too followed her boss before she glance at Jack and saw him smiling back at her.

Hoping in the driver’s seat, Jack drove them to the acting institute. He was looking forward to seeing what that man name Gabriel was up to and what was his intention on changing his identity.

After a few minutes of driving, Jack dropped them at Christina’s acting academy before she started with his work of guarding the lady boss. The kept his eyes around them when he caught sight of the same car as the previous day driving and stopping in front of the main building.

His eyes observed the front door of the car getting open and a man stepped out quickly rushing to open the back seat door.

Gabriel stepped out wearing something casual that didn’t catch anyone’s attention and they both quickly dashed inside the building.

On his way, Gabriel didn’t fail to notice a suspicious pair of eyes staring at him but ignored them as he didn’t want to get late.

Jack turned around and watched two retreating back heading deeper inside the building. He was thankful that Gabriel didn’t recognize him and how would he because the time the meeting was held he had been wearing a mask the entire time covering his face.

Gabriel along with Max reached the rehearsal room and he motioned Max to wait outside before stepping in.

"I hope I am not late," he said putting on a playful smile and looked at two pairs of eyes stare in his direction.

While Christina’s eyes sparked, the woman next to her share a cold glare before she averted her attention back to the paper in her hands.

Approaching, the lady Riel passed Christina his charming smile and then turn to look at Ashley who didn’t bat an eye in his direction and said," Hello Ashley"

The woman was hard to please and that pissed him off mentally. Hiding his displeases he still managed to smile only to get ignored mercilessly.

"Should we start" instead of greeting him back Ashley choose to turn a blind eye and stated.

The smile on Riel’s face faltered as he stared at Ashley in disbelief. If it was someone else who would’ve ignored him, he would have plucked their eyes turning them blind for their entire life.

The corner of his lips twitched at her rudeness but he quickly composed himself and started the session.

Christina guided them on how they could improve their vocals and how to feel the dialogues before they delivered. It wasn’t just about memorizing the lines and talking in conversational reality with intermittent emotion. It is about doing things truthfully under imaginary circumstances.

Keeping her words in mind, they began the classes.

Sitting inside her room Natalie roared on the phone call," How should I suppose to contact him?"

After Noah blocked her number she had been finding it difficult to connect with him. Avera had somehow managed to catch hold of his private contact but her stupidity made things difficult for him.

Avera had asked her not to make any moves until she gave a nod but her curious self ended up calling him just because she wanted to hear his voice.

"Whose fault is it that he blocked you" Avera snapped at her. She thought Natalie would act as a good submissive listening to her like a slave, but she didn’t realize the craziness Natalie held for Noah.

Natalie gritted her teeth in anger, as she got silenced by Avera’s words. She knew it was her mistake, yet she acted like a spoiled brat.

Once her voice died from the other end, Avera spoke further," I warned you not to go against my words, and if I say not, it means there is a reason behind it"

Avera didn’t want to play child games because her one foolish move had already backfired. Both Noah and Alice had to suffer for the damage they cause Dylan and her.

"If you want Noah, then just do as I say. Don’t go on doing reckless things which might end up pushing Noah away from you. Do you get me" Avera warned.

Even though she wasn’t in front of Natalie her silence was the answer instead. After some time she heard Natalie agree to her," Yes" it came out like a whisper but was enough to satisfy her.

"Now listen carefully to what I am about to say" Keeping her tone as calm as possible Avera explain a few things to Natalie that dropped her foul mood and the corner of her lips curled up into a content smile.

"Okay. I get it"

After a long rehearsal, Christina granted both her student a few minute’s breaks. Since they have been using all of their energy to express their feeling through dialogues, it was somehow draining them mentally.

Heading to her assigned place, Ashley took the chair and settled down. Miley quickly passed her a bottle of water and she gulped it down.

Now that she was given a small break she decided to make a call to Tristan, but before she could pull out her cell phone, an unexpected visitor spoiled her private time.

"If you don’t mind, can I join you both" Riel smiled at the pair of shocked eyes.

Without waiting for the affirmation, he quickly signaled Max to place his chair next to Ashley’s and immediately settled down.

Comfortable sitting on the chair, Riel passed his charismatic smile towards Ashley and watched her face crumple in annoyance.

"I never agreed to your request" she mumbled gritting her teeth in displease.

"Which is why I didn’t give you the chance because I knew you would never agree" winking his eye he continued pestering his smile.

Ashley gave him a deadly glare and turned away as she couldn’t contain her irritation toward this over-friendly man. The more she tried to maintain her distance, the more he kept bugging her.

Heaving out a breath, she then turned on her cell phone and started scrolling through the schedule for the day. It wasn’t that hectic since Finn had already released her from taking any other project apart from this present one.

He wanted her to focus on her current work, and give her hundred percent.

"Chatting with your boyfriend?"

Ashley paused strolling and shot a glare at Riel who was peeking into her phone. The man was too shameless and liked invading her privacy for no reason.
