Chapter 212: Feel free to kill her

After finishing the food Ashley excused herself to the restroom while Alice and Gwen sat on the seats chatting.

"Don’t tell me you bought them to seduce Karl" Alice peeked inside the bag full of different lingerie and chuckled.

Gwen could only purse her lips and nod hiding her blush. Yes, she was going to make a bold move on Karl in order to find what qualities he prefers in his girl.

Linda’s words had already been craved deep into her mind and now, she wanted to grow up and act like a mature lady.

While the girls were busy talking, Ashley stepped out of the woman’s restroom when she stumbled upon someone she didn’t expect to meet.

"Ashley Brown.... what a pleasant surprise. We meet again" Giel aka Gabriel’s voice snapped Ashley out of her trance and she frowned.

She just rolled her eyes watching his silly smile and she replied," It isn’t pleasant for me"

Ashley had still not forgotten how he flirted with her and she felt the need to maintain a distance from him.

Gabriel was amazed at how Ashley maintained her composure whenever he tried to pull her strings. She was the second lady after Sandra who wasn’t charmed by his flirty moves and that made him more curious about her.

"Are you sure, you aren’t following me, Miss Brown? We happen to meet at the same place" Gabriel tried to tease her. He kind of liked the way she oppose his every word by giving a fitting answer.

Crossing her hands Ashley smirked," Now I cursed myself for coming here" she said with a fake smile and sighed.

"If you’re done blocking my way, just step aside I have to leave," she said dropping her fake smile and motioned him to move.

Gabriel wanted to prolong this meeting by pulling her nerves when suddenly his phone rang. Taking the call, he took a step back and turned around to answer it.

"Okay...hmm," Ashley watched him speak to someone and took the opportunity to walk away from there before he ends up pestering her even more.

Just when Gabriel finished talking, he turned back only to find the space where Ashley stood empty.

Falling into thought for a second, his lips then curled up into a smile and he turned around walking away from there.

Ashley huffed walking through the corridor when she found Tristan standing next to their table and she gasped in surprise.

" When did you come here?" she asked walking to them only to find all the other boys too present and were sitting next to their partners.

Tristan turned when he heard Ashley’s voice and heaved out a sigh before taking a step toward her," What took you so long?" he didn’t answer her but rather questioned her.

"Meet an annoying person on the way" she mumbled under her breath scratching her head, making Tristan confuse.

"Huh! Did you say something" he asked when he couldn’t understand what she said.

"Umm... nothing" she brushed off her word because she didn’t want to dwell on that annoying person and asked instead," You didn’t answer me. How come you three are here"

"Tristan bought us here," Noah said pointing at his friend.

Ashley turned her head to look at Tristan only to find him looking elsewhere.

"We also wanted to shop so... I thought why not join you all" Tristan tried to hide his embarrassment, hoping no one could see through his intention when Ashley said, "But we are already done with shopping"

Her words pour water on their plan. Ashley turned her eyes to Gwen and Alice giving them a meaningful gaze.

"Yes, you boys are late. We girls have finished our shopping and now we are leaving home" Alice too joined Ashley and looked at the boys who dropped their jaws in shock.

"Babe... that’s not fair. We came rushing here hoping to shop with you all but you are ditching us" Noah whined like a kid and looked at Tristan motioning him to do something.

Getting his actions Tristan turned to face Ashley and tried to convince her," Ash... but we haven’t done our shopping yet. How about you help us without shopping"

"Yes, Tristan is right" Noah joined and then motioned Karl to also join them.

Nodding his head even Karl agreed," Yes, boss is right." and then gave Gwen a pitiful look.

The girls shared a glance at each other as if they were communicating with their eyes while the boys watched them cluelessly.

" What are they talking about?" Noah asked Karl who just shrugged his shoulder not knowing what they were communicating.

After a one-minute starring discussion, they finally pulled apart and looked at them.

"We will help you only if we get to know where we are going" Ashley’s words dropped like a bomb and everyone averted their eyes at Tristan. It was he who had planned everything, even Noah and Karl had no clue.

"Why are you all looking at me," he said getting intimidated by their curious stare.

"Aren’t you the planner? So tell us about the place and we join you for the shopping" Ashley didn’t leave the chance to get Tristan to speak everything. Just like Gwen and Alice even she was curious to know where they were going, but her husband was tongue-tied in this matter.

Noah and Karl begged through their eyes motioning Tristan to speak but the man was too adamant.

"It won’t be a surprise if I disclose the place name" Tristan’s words dropped everyone’s shoulders.

"Okay then, we girls will take out leave. You all enjoying your shopping" saying Ashley picked up the bags and started walking.

Alice and Gwen too did the same and followed Ashley leaving the boys behind to deal with their problems.

Tristan watched Ashley leave with his mouth slightly opened and turned his head to face the fuming boys who were ready to smack Tristan for being so stubborn.

"Ahem... let’s get shopping" ignoring them both Tristan walked away from there.

Dropping Alice home, Ashley then took Gwen to the Knight’s mansion. Inside the car, Ashley found Gwen quiet and she couldn’t stop herself from bringing up the topic that was bothering her for some time.

"Is everything alight Gwen? You seem to be quiet all this time" Ashley asked her like an elder sister who was worried for her and wanted to know the reason, just so she could help her.

Gwen snapped out of her silent mode and turned to Ashley with a smile." No, nothing is bothering me. Everything is fine" saying she averted her eyes from her and looked outside the window.

Gwen didn’t want to bother anyone. The inferiority she was going through right now, she wanted to tackle it on her own.

Ashley found her behavior a little bothering. Gwen wasn’t someone who liked to bottle up things to herself, then why wasn’t she telling her?

Finding her oblige to open up, Ashley didn’t force her to speak and soon drove her to the mansion.

After his encounter with Ashley, Gabriel drove to his secret base. He summoned Tori after he found her careless action that would have ruined everything.

"Did that lady cause any trouble after walking up?" he asked looking at the young girl with his deadpan eyes.

"No, boss. She hasn’t spoken about last night’s incident with anyone" Tori had been keeping an eye on Piper after she woke up and she found her silent without talking about that incident with anyone.

"That woman looks like a troublemaker whom we can’t trust. If you find her action suspicious again, feel free to kill her" he declared.

Tori wasn’t surprised by his decision. Gabriel was like that, heartless, ruthless and merciless who didn’t think twice before killing his own father.

Giving a nod, Tori then informed Gabriel about the couple," I heard the couple is going somewhere for vacation but the place is still unknown"

Tori had all her eyes and ears on Ashley and Tristan and it didn’t take her long to find what the couple was planning.

"Let not disturb them for some time" Gabriel instructed with a blank face.

"Vacate this place as soon as possible before Tristan’s men find us" he then looked at Max informing him about how risky it can be for them to stick in one place.

Gabriel learned about Ace one of Tristan’s men, who have been using every means to find his location. He even learned about him killing his father and how he used all his inheritance to come to this place.

It wouldn’t be too long for them to find his base and before they could reach him, he wanted to shift his base next to Brown’s mansion where no one will ever come to find him or even get suspicious.

Instructing both Tori and Max, Gabriel asked them to leave. Once they were out of his sight, he then called someone asking," Find where Tristan and Ashley are going?" saying he ended the call and his lips curled into a wicked smile.

"Let’s enjoy the vacation together" Gabriel’s blank eyes softened when Ashley’s face appeared in front of his eyes.
