Noah’s heart started to beat fast inside his chest. The way Alice was seducing him with her bold act made him want to pin her against the wall and devour her then and there.

Slowly he started his way to her and in no time he stood right behind her. He could smell the fresh odor of her body wash and he felt his blood boil in anticipation. He knew there was one thin line between him and his desire that wanted to break free and take his girl the way he want.

Ashley was sitting inside the room reading a magazine when she heard a knock on the door.

"We don’t know young miss but master walked inside the house and suddenly fainted," she said with her head low.

Ashley felt helpless as she couldn’t understand how come he lost consciousness just like that.

"Call the doctor and you-" she looked at the other male servant," Help me take him to the room"

With the help of the servant, Ashley was able to take Tristan to their room. Carefully making him lay on the bed, she asked the servant to leave.

Sitting next to Tristan, Ashley checked his forehead just to see if he had any fever or something but found his temperature normal.

"He doesn’t seem to have any fever" she mumbled and quickly got up to check if the doctor had arrived.

The second Ashley left Tristan’s side, he snapped open his eyes and widen and got up to see where Ashley went.

"Did she catch my act?" he mumbled when suddenly the door opened and fall back on the bed closing his eyes and continuing the act.

"I think, he might be stressed about something which was why I found his blood level a little high but apart from that his health is fine," the doctor said after checking Tristan and then left.

Tristan felt his heart pound when he heard the door shutting sound and before he could open his eyes, Ashley poured a glass of water on his face completely knocking him out of his fake act.

"Tristan knight... how dare you fake your health" Ashley roared making Tristan flinch on the bed and the next second he got up crawling away from Ashley like a scared kitten.

Her eyes blazed fire and he could tell that she wasn’t going to let him go this time. First, he upset her with his immature action, and now he again made her angry by following Karl’s advice.

’KARL... I am going to reduce your pay for this month’ Tristan cursed his assistant for giving him such stupid advice.

He then looked at Ashley who clench her jaw ready to charge him with multiple questions, but before that, he had to answer the very first question she asked.

"Ash... please listen to me first" he tried to coax her with his gentle approach because he could tell another immature action would lead her to throw him out of the room.

’Argh!! Why did I even agree to his words’ Tristan was genuinely regretting following Karl’s advice.

He should’ve known, his sister was stupid enough to get fooled by Karl’s dumb acts. But his wife, she wasn’t that halfwit to not see through his actions.

Ashley was stupefied when she sensed Tristan’s action the second doctor confirmed he was all fine and nothing seem to be wrong with him. He just used his health as a weapon to get her forgiveness.

Was he so stupid to play like this with her feeling?

Clutching her palm into a fist, she glared at him as she tried her best to keep her cool and not lose it in anger.
