Noah was baffled by Alice’s sudden question. He looked at her as if she had grown horns on her head and was ready to charge at him.

He tried to remember the incident when the memory of him and Natasha crossed his mind and he cursed’ Damnit’

How was he supposed to tell her that the lipstick mark he received was from Natasha, his target whom he was supposed to befriend.

Even Taylor had no clue about what Alice was referring to but by the looks on his son’s face, he could tell that he had mess once again and he jumped in to save him.

"Okay now... Enough of interrogation" Taylor diverted everyone’s attention from Noah to him.

"Darling, don’t you want to show Alice our house," he said making Anna gasp.

"Oh my god... I just forgot about it" she mumbled and looked at Taylor thanking him," Thank you so much darling" she said forgetting about what they were talking about just a while ago.

Standing up Anna asked Alice to come with her as she wanted her to show the entire Wayne Mansion. Not having the heart to oppose her, Alice quickly agreed with Anna and left from there, but that didn’t mean she forgot what she had asked.

Once the ladies were out of his sight, Noah breathed a sigh of relief," Phew... that was close" he muttered ignoring the pair of eyes that were gawking like an eagle at him.

When he sensed the intense gaze, Noah felt chills run down his spine. He knew who it was and before he could face the heat even more he tried to escape.

"DON’T RUN" Taylor’s chilling cold voice made him sit back on his seat like a scared cat who was about to get lectured.

"Speak" Noah heard his father’s voice and flinched as he started spilling everything from start to end.

Lawn

After a small argument with Tristan, Ashley received a call from Gwen informing her about Dante agreeing to the surgery.

She was so happy that she forgot about Tristan and kept chatting with Gwen easing her mind. She knew everyone was content with Dante’s decision and they all hoped for the best result.

When she finished her chat, Ashley felt much better than before. Walking out of the room, she decided to take a round in the garden area. So informing the maid to send her the coffee in the garden, Ashley headed to the destination.

The moment Ashley reached the garden area, she watched Tori once again coming from the restricted area. She seemed so restless, that she kept looking everywhere while her feet marched at an extremely fast pace.

"What are you doing here?" Ashley blocked her path startling her and she stumbled back.

Tori was so worked up in her head that she forgot to see Ashley standing in her way only to realize it after she collide with her.

Startled by her question, Tori was baffled. She mentally cursed herself for being careless once again, quickly lowered her head hiding her nervousness.

"Young miss I- I " Tori stuttered as she tried to come up with an excuse when Ashley cut in.

"Tori, you shouldn’t be entering that area" Ashley eased her expression as she watched the young girl getting anxious by her scrutinizing gaze.

Last time, when she had seen her walking out from the same restricted area, she forgot to warn her and now, even today, she saw her walking out from the same place. So this time, she made sure she would warn her.

Sensing the calmness in her voice Tori relaxed a little but didn’t dare to raise her head up. It was better if she don’t keep on coming in front of her and Tristan’s eyes. Until now, she was safe as Tristan didn’t find her familiar but she can’t assure about the future.

"I-I am sorry young miss. I will be careful from here on" Tori spoke softly hiding her easiness.

Looking at Tori for a minute Ashley asked her to leave. Without wasting a second, Tori sprinted back inside the mansion escaping from Ashley’s eyes.

Looking at the way from where she saw Tori walkout made her frown. She remembered once she asked Richard why no one was allowed to step into that part of the property but he told her that place wasn’t good for anyone to step in.

That time she was a kid who just followed his words without any question but now when she thought about it, she wondered why her father never allowed anyone there.

As she was busy thinking about it the maid came with a cup of coffee for her bringing her out of the trance.

"Young miss, your coffee" Ashley snapped out turning her head at the maid.

Quickly composing herself, Ashley smiled and took the cup of coffee before asking the maid to leave.

Taking a few steps ahead Ashley looked in a particular direction, thinking about what was actually there but she held back her curiosity hoping one day she would ask her father about that place again.

Tristan’s cabin

After listening to Karl’s advice, Tristan was still in denial as to whether try to attempt anyone. It was way too childish for a mature couple like them but weren’t they sometimes immature?

Tristan was now starting to count how many times, he had upset Ashley because of his immature behavior and regretted being a jerk to her.

"Why am I like this" Tristan felt helpless for yelling at Ashley and spoiling her mood for something irrelevant at that moment.

Cursing himself for the 100th time Tristan finally agreed to use one of the pieces of advice Karl suggested based on his own experience and now he only hoped Ashley would forgive him.

With this thought, Tristan got up from his chair and headed to attend the meeting.

After spending the entire day at Wayne’s mansion, Noah and Alice finally bid them bye heading back home.

Throughout the ride, Noah tried to ignore Alice thinking she might bring up the afternoon topic which he won’t be able to answer.

He recalled his father’s words who advised him to be transparent with Alice leaving no space for any lie.

Soon they reach home, heading inside the building and reaching their apartment. Noah was waiting for Alice to say something but when she didn’t say a word and entered her house, Noah sighed.

"This is all your fault Tristan" Noah cursed his friend who was the main culprit here.

Disheartened Noah walked like a dead fish and entered his apartment, hoping to come up with a plan to fix Alice’s mood.

Inside Alice’s house, as soon as she stepped in, tossing the bag aside Alice walked inside her room to get changed.

She thought after bringing up that lipstick topic Noah would come out clean clearing the misunderstanding but his lack of response was making her doubt him again.

"What is he trying to hide?" she mumbled as she undressed herself and stepped inside the bathtub.

As she slowly immersed her body inside the warm water, she felt her muscles relax and she leaned back at the edge of the tub and closed her eyes.

Alice recalled the time she spent with Noah’s parents and her heart began to swell with happiness. She never thought they would come to like her for the way she was and that made her feel lovable.

Noah’s mother was such a sweet lady, who kept pampering her and taking care of her like her own child. She suddenly felt jealous of Noah being so lucky to have parents who didn’t judge their son for his character.

Relaxing for some time, Alice cleaned herself and stepped out of the bathtub, and walked out of the bathroom.

Just when she thought of dressing herself, she heard the door to her room open and Noah stepping in.

The moment their eyes met, Noah’s jaw dropped in shock as he watched Alice stand in front of him with only a towel wrapped around her body.

Alice who also notice the change in his expression ignored it and turned around before walking to her closet and taking out a pair of clean clothes for her.

Noah who was still in the frozen state began to feel hot when Alice dropped the towel from her body and stood naked in front of him.

’Holy f**K’ cursing mentally Noah’s breath turned heavy.

He couldn’t understand if she was ignoring him or was purposely arousing him with her seductive actions.

The way she stood naked showing off her white skin and her butts exposed in open, he felt his little brother poke under his pants.

Alice had her back facing Noah, smirked when she turned her head slightly aside and saw him gulp.

’You just wait Noah Wayne, I will make your spill everything in no time’ promising to herself, Alice slowly began to roam her hands on her body turning the man standing behind her horny.

She was purposely making him lose control because she wanted to punish him for lying to her once again.
