Gwen, on the other hand, was enjoying the expression on Karl’s face. Last night when they kissed, she was expecting something more but... he just stopped in the middle leaving her hanging.

Ashley and Tristan left the house heading straight to the amusement park. They had Tristan’s men following them but they maintained the distance just to make sure they won’t catch much attention.

Ashley stepped out of the car. She was so excited to enjoy her day but her smile dropped when she saw the entire place vacant.

Ashley had come prepared for both of them. She even asked him to wear something simple just so they won’t get caught by people. She looked at the mask in her hand and then at Tristan.

Ashley didn’t expect him to book the entire place just so they would spend their time without being bothered by anyone. She knew he liked to keep his life private but vacating an entire amusement park was too much for her to grasp.

Tristan on the other hand was looking forward to spending his time with his beloved wife. He wasn’t a fan of the amusement park but for her, he would try to enjoy it as much as he can.

"Come let’s go," he said with a smile and dragged Ashley along as he was very much eager to explore the place.

They began their fun eating cotton candies as they stroll around. Ashley went on taking the smallest ride along with Tristan which they both enjoyed but when the time for the big rides came, Tristan’s face turned pale.

"Don’t tell me you haven’t gone on them?" she asked looking at the huge roller coaster ride and then back at Tristan.

"Ahem... I haven’t... but I can try" he said with much hesitation. He wasn’t sure if he was ready as he had never gone on one before but he wanted to get on it to give her company.

"But you don’t look fine" she placed her palm on his cheeks and asked," Are you sure you want to come? I can go by myself if you aren’t ready"

Ashley didn’t want to force him because of the way his face had lost all the colors, she couldn’t take the risk.

"Sigh... I will come with you" Tristan declared.

Though he had done many missions as the leader of the Jaguar, fighting and winning the battle with the assassins, it would be a shame for him if he happens to get scared by this simple ride.

Ashley could only sigh looking at the man who didn’t look like he was mentally prepared but.. if he wanted to give it a try then why would she stop him. Didn’t they come to have fun?

Holding Ashley’s hand Tristan walked towards the ride. The staff helped them to take the seats and then the machine started.

At first, it felt good but when the ride speeded, Tristan felt his soul leave his body, and the very next second he screamed his lungs out.

The entire ride turn chaotic when Tristan asked the staff to stop the ride. He lost his face when he panic the moment the ride went up and then speeded down.

The moment he stepped down from the ride, Tristan dashed to the restroom and emptied himself.

Ashley rushed towards him and brushed his back as he puked everything out. She asked him to let her go alone but still, he tagged along, and now she was feeling bad for him.

Rinsing his mouth Tristan stood straight and closed his eyes. His head was spinning and he felt like he was still sitting on the ride.

Tristan opened his eyes when his head stopped spinning and his eyes met her concerned ones. He thought he would overcome his fear because his pride didn’t let him accept his anxiousness but everything went wrong.

Instead of enjoying the ride, he ended up ruining it for both of them. It would have been better if he had let her alone enjoy the ride but his eagerness to accompany her spoiled the fun.

"I am sorry I spoiled everything" he was genuinely feeling bad for ruining the fun.

Ashley saw the sincerity in his words and moved closer to kiss his cheeks." You didn’t spoil anything. I enjoyed the ride way more than you can say"

Tristan frowned as he watched her grin," How is that?" he asked knowing he had stopped the ride abruptly because he suddenly felt sick then how did she end up enjoying it?

"Ash... ask them to stop... please I can’t take it anymore" she enacted his reaction when they were still on the ride and Tristan felt his ear turn red in embarrassment.

"Stop..." he said covering his face as he could hide his shyness.

Ashley didn’t want to tease him but she couldn’t erase his reaction from her mind because now she again found something Tristan was scared of apart from losing her.

She waited until she finally felt the paleness on his face disappear that’s when they resumed their fun. They skipped taking the other ride because she didn’t want to leave Tristan alone knowing he wasn’t well.

Instead, they went on playing with the dashing car and then went on the carousel. Both were having a beautiful time together as they planned but there was a certain someone who was watching over them disguised as one of the staff giving every detail about them to his boss.

"They are still here. When do you want me to execute our plan boss" the man asked his boss through the Bluetooth device he wore in one of his ears.

"Wait for the couple to separate. Divert their attention somehow" he heard the man on the call say. Getting the orders the man immediately reacted.

After enjoying the carousel, both Tristan and Ashley decided to head toward the restaurant. Tristan had already informed the staff of everything before they came here.

So as soon as they entered inside, Ashley found the entire space empty with only one table decorated at the center of the hall.

The staff stood on the side welcoming the couple and it was the manager who lead them to the table.

"I didn’t expect this" she looked at Tristan who walked behind her pulling a chair for her to sit on it.

"You are going to receive many more surprises my dear wife" he whispered making her blush.

She felt like they were on a date and she couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed.
