Ashley stepped out from Finn’s cabin with the file in her hand. Though she told him that she would think about it, she still had doubts.

Acting wasn’t as easy as he thought it to be. She had to change her perspective entirely stepping out of her comfort zone.

’Sigh...I will think about it later keeping this thought aside she stepped inside the changing room.

Alice got ready to leave for work. She stepped out of the building and got into her car. Since Noah barged out of her apartment without saying a word, she didn’t see him returning.

She had no choice but to take her car and drive to the studio alone. Stepping into the car Alice started the engine and soon drove from there.

Unknown to her, another car followed her just after she left.

"Keep a distance. Don’t let her get suspicious" the lady in the car instructed.

Anna reached Noah’s apartment but, before stepping out, she saw Alice coming out from the building.

Before coming there Anna had looked into the information Taylor gave her. She even saw Alice’s picture and she somewhat liked the girl.

As her car followed Alice, the phone inside her handbag begin to ring. Taking it out her lips pursed.

’Does he remember me now’ Anna muttered and kept back her phone in her bag.

Noah on the other hand was trying his best to reach his mother but she wasn’t receiving the call.

"Damn... I hope she isn’t home yet" Noah again tried to call Anna and his time his call went to voice mail.

"Mom..." clenching his jaw Noah ended the call.

He didn’t want his mother to meet Alice. She had just begun to trust people around her; for now, he didn’t want his mother to go and interrogate her.

He remembered one incident, where he was caught making out with a girl by Anna. That night he had seen his mother going beyond his imagination to shove that girl out. Not only did she beat him in front of that random girl but also pointed a Knife at her just so she could spill the purpose behind her being with him.

Biting his lips he thought of another way when an idea popped into his mind and he picked up the phone. This time he called Alice.

Just two rings and his call were received. "I thought I wasn’t going to listen anything from you" he heard her say.

"Babe where are you?" ignoring her sarcastic comment Noah came straight to the point.

His heart was pumping anxiously thinking about something he didn’t want.

Alice found his behaviour strange. This man just walked out of her house without telling anything and now when he finally remembered her, he is asking her where she was. ’Did he forget I am a working woman she just rolled her eyes.

"I am on my way to the studio and why are you sounding so anxious? Did your dad scold you" Alice asked knowing he went to meet his father just after he received a call from him?

The way he ran out she could only think of this but not else. Now that she learned he was scared of his father, she got a chance to pull his legs.

"Don’t tell me you got beaten up by him" now it was Noah who rolled his eyes.

"No, I didn’t. First, tell me, did anyone come to meet you after I left" he wasn’t in the mood to play. He just wanted to know if his mother did come to see her just like his father said.

"No. Why, was someone going to visit me" Alice who had no idea why he was asking her so many questions answered casually.

Noah closed his eyes and stopped the car in front of the building. He drove as fast as he could to reach home and stop his mother from meeting Alice.

" Thank god" heaving out a breath of relief Noah calmed down. Luckily she didn’t come.

Alice frowned when she heard him sigh. Stopping the car in front of her studio, Alice stepped out with the phone still close to her ear and asked," Noah, is everything okay? Why do I find your behaviour suspicious? Don’t tell me you are again trying to keep secrets from me"

Alice couldn’t believe him after what he did to Dylan. She doubted if he was again trying to hide something from her.

"Hehe... babe why would I do that. I was just trying to check on you. Now that I am done I will end the call" without wasting a second Noah ended the call leaving Alice speechless.

"Huh! What the fu-"Alice was about to curse but stopped looking at her surroundings.

Noah just cut the call before she could question further. "I know you are hiding something, Noah, and I am not going to let you go until I find it, " she said and walked inside the studio.

"Let’s leave" Anna instructed the driver. Her car which was parked just a distance away from Alice’s studio turned and drove away.

It was a huge day for Tristan and his staff. The product they launched was a huge success topping the chart and breaking every record. It already covered up its production value just a few hours after launch, earning even more profit than expected.

"It’s time for a celebration," Luke was happy with the response that he couldn’t contain his excitement. These few months of hard work finally paid off and now he wanted to celebrate it.

Tristan agreed with Luke. It was a big day for both Fords and Knight and there had to be a huge success party.

"Karl inform, the staff about the evening party. Make sure the invite is sent as soon as possible"

"Gwen you too help Karl with this" Tristan said.

’’ Yes boss"

Tristan instructed Karl on the preparation of the party. Both Gwen and Karl followed their boss’s instructions. Even Luke left as he had many other things to look after.

Sitting inside his cabin, Tristan pulled out his phone and called Ashley. In no time the call was answered and a cheerful voice greeted him.

"Congratulation on the success of the product launch Hubby" Ashley had just stepped inside the dressing room and learned about the success of Tristan’s new product launch through Miley.

She had asked her to keep tabs on the news related to Knights since she already knew about Tristan working hard on this project. The moment she ended her photoshoot Miley informed her about the huge response to the product received just within an hour after its launch.

"Thank you" Tristan couldn’t contain his smile and he so wanted to hug her just to let her know how happy he was.

After talking with her for a while Tristan informed her about the evening party. Since they had already publicly announced their relationship, they had no worries about attending the party hand in hand.

He also asked her to finish the shoot as soon as possible because he wanted to take her somewhere.

Following Tristan’s words, Ashley quickly completed her photoshoot and stepped out of the agency building. As soon as she reached the parking space, Tristan’s car was already waiting for her.

Without wasting a second she walked and stepped into the car only to get pulled by a strong arm. She found herself sitting on Tristan’s lap before he captured her lips.

The kiss wasn’t long but it showed the happiness Tristan wanted to share with her. "I missed this," he said before pulling away.

Tracing his thumb on her lips, Tristan watched her blush. Pulling her close Tristan instructed the driver to start the car.

"Where are we going?" Ashley asked tilting her face as she stared at Tristan’s side profile.

"You will know" his eyes finally met her and his lips curled up into a smile.

Ashley just rested her head on his shoulder as she wasn’t able to handle his scrutinizing gaze. They looked so intense that she felt butterflies in her stomach.

Soon their car came to a halt, making them realize that they had reached their destination.

Ashley climb down from his lap, adjusting her attire and they stepped out.

"Favorable" Ashley muttered looking at the boutique. It belonged to one of her favourite designers Martha Helms.

Martha was the country’s number-one designer and also happened to be Tristan’s friend. When he found Ashley liked her designs he quickly bought her here.

"Let’s go," he said intertwining their hands as they both stepped inside the lavishing boutique.

As the couple stepped inside the boutique, Martha’s manager greeted them.

"Welcome, Mr and Mrs Knight" the manager greeted them politely.

Ashley looked at Tristan who gave her an assuring smile. "Don’t very Martha is a good friend of mine and also a trustworthy lady" his words calmed Ashley and they both were guided to the VIP room.

Before coming here Tristan had already talked with Martha and she agreed to keep this meeting confidential.

"Oh my...my we finally have our beautiful couple here" Martha’s voice beamed as she walked inside the room.
