Why did she have a feeling that Dylan’s sudden disappearance was related to Noah?

She knew Dylan very well and it was so unexpected of him not even contacting her after sending those pictures to her father.

Noah watched her eyes suspiciously scan through his reaction. Now he was sure she had something to talk about with him.

Alice sighed and folded her arms over her chest as she saw his face crumple a little.

"Don’t tell me it’s you behind Dylan’s sudden disappearance" her words dropped his mouth open as he watched her in complete awe.

The way Noah was questioning her about Dylan, she had a doubt this man was up to something.

"W-what are you saying, Alice? Why would I kidnap him" Noah averted her sharp gaze and turned around restraining her from seeing through his lie?

"Is that so?" she asked looking at his back.

"Y-Yes" he still didn’t look back.

’Fine Noah’ she thought and said loudly.

"Why is Dylan texting me again," she said looking at the phone the next moment Noah turned and stormed snatching her phone away from her hand and said," How can he text you when he is under my supervision"

That’s it... he was caught.

Folding her hands Alice looked at Noah in disbelief.

" I was right. You are the one who is behind Dylan’s sudden disappearance" Alice couldn’t believe she would guess right.

Noah was caught red-handed. Cursing himself, he turned to see her glare at him and he gulped.

"Babe... Alice," he smiled cheekily, thinking about a quick cover-up, but failed when she pulled his ear harshly.

"Don’t you dare lie to me Noah" Alice was now in no mood to listen to his lies? This man was insane. Why did he kidnap Dylan? she thought as she pressed his ear until it turned red.

"Ow... Alice leaves me. It hurts" Noah hissed in pain when he felt her twist his ear more.

Not able to take it Noah finally gave up." Yes... yes it’s me behind Dylan’s disappearance"

Just when she heard him confess the truth she let go of his ear, sparing him.

"Why did you do that Noah? Didn’t I tell you I don’t want to get associated with anyone from my past which even includes my parents"

Noah rubbed his ear and looked at Alice with a pout. "I would’ve let him go by just warning him but when I found he wanted to rekindle his relationship with you I couldn’t let him go"

Alice’s jaw dropped when she heard him. Dylan wants to get back with her, then what about Avera? Why was he playing with her life? And why did he want to rekindle his relationship with her when he didn’t like her in the first place?

Many questions popped up in her mind. Dylan wasn’t someone who would want to get tangled in one single relationship. He was a man with immense need and desire, so did it mean, Dylan was only marrying Avera because he wanted something back in return?

Alice gave Noah a complicated look. She didn’t know whether her doubts were right, but if they turned out to be true, then Avera would be in big problem.

Since the launch date was approaching, Tristan and everyone involved were working day and night. Even Luke, one of the sponsors, paid equal attention to the others.

"Everything looks perfect," Tristan looked at Luke who agreed with him.

Everyone present inside the meeting room heaved out a sigh of relief.

In the morning when Tristan found a fault in the product run. He lashed out at everyone scaring the shit out of their soul.

Tristan didn’t like to ignore the work he took into consideration; this time it was Luke who was involved with him. He trusted him with this product and wanted to give his best without disappointing his friend.

His one warning and the entire team started working like a machine giving him the product for the final verdict.

Gwen and Karl felt bad for the employees but they couldn’t speak as it was their fault for not taking Tristan’s words seriously.

Satisfied with the outcome Luke and Tristan gave the nod and soon the meeting ended.

Once Tristan was out of their sight, the employees slumped on their chairs breathing a sigh of relief.

"That was scary," one said.

"I will take my leave," Luke said looking at the trio and was about to leave when Karl stopped him.

"Mr. Ford" he called making him stop.

Tristan excused himself taking Gwen along leaving Karl and Luke alone.

When there was no one around Karl finally spoke," Sorry for whatever I did last night. I couldn’t stop myself"

Gwen told everything about how Luke was helping her to make him realize her worth felt like a fool. He was been tricked by Gwen and not only that even Tristan was involved in it.

Luke wasn’t upset since he had expected it to happen." Take care of her Karl. She is the sweetest person I have ever come across, don’t break her heart again or else I would seriously start courting her" he said, patting his shoulder.

Luke wasn’t lying. He had liked Gwen from the day he met her for the first time but he restrains because she already had Karl in her.

Karl’s eyes widen in shock but he didn’t let it show on his face. His instinct toward Luke wasn’t wrong because the man seriously had feelings towards her.

Karl nodded his head and saw Luke pass him a meaningful smile, which confused him.

Outside the building

"What took you so long?" Gwen asked when she saw Karl stepping out of the building. Her eyes then averted to Luke who waved at her.

Gwen did the same and saw him step into his car and drive away.

"I couldn’t even apologize to him" Gwen felt sorry for leaving Luke that night without properly apologizing to him. He was helping her and even got punched because of her and what she did, she left him alone and went along with Karl.

"I did it on our behalf" he smiled before intertwining their hand together and walking towards his car.

Karl didn’t take Luke as his rival anymore. He knew there wasn’t a chance of him courting Gwen when he would never leave her from now on. He had finally learned from his mistake and now he wouldn’t repeat the same.

Tristan reached home a little late. Everyone already had dinner and were already resting in their respective bedroom.

He was so engrossed in the work that he didn’t inform Ashley about the delay and now he feared his wife would be waiting for him instead of resting.

Stepping his foot inside the house the first thing he did was head to the dining place and his surprise his assumption was right.

Ashley was waiting for him. She was lazily playing with the spoon. passing her time when she sensed someone’s presence behind her and before she could react her cheeks were pecked.

"I am sorry. I didn’t look at the time and even failed to inform you" Tristan sat next to her and pulled his ear apologizing to her.

Tristan knew Ashley didn’t like to have dinner without him still he forgot to inform her about his late arrival.

Ashley glared at him with a pout but after watching him hold his ear, her gloominess weathered.

"Fine... I accept your apology but next time" she reached her hand to the one holding his ears and pulled it down continuing," You have to inform me" she smiled by the end.

Tristan relaxed watching her smile. Removing his suit, he hung it on the chair’s backrest and then loosened his sleeves before folding it and joining Ashley for dinner.

The couple had their dinner together and then finally headed to their room. Tristan first went to take a shower before they slept but he didn’t know that Ashley was having some different plan.

The moment he stepped out of the bathroom his eyes popped out of his socket. His mouth opened and closed as he tried to form a word for the beauty he was watching with his eyes.

Ashley sat on the bed wearing sexy lingerie with her legs crossed. Her white skin was covered with only two pieces of cloth as she seductively pointed him to come to her.

Tristan gulped at the sight of his beautiful seductress who was now tempting him with her bold look.
