Catastrophe Card King -
Chapter 1256 - Chapter 1256 Chapter 387 Mirror World
Chapter 1256: Chapter 387: Mirror World Chapter 1256: Chapter 387: Mirror World “Thump!”
“Thump!”
“Thump!”
“…”
Before everyone’s stunned gazes, Leonard Churchill threw dozens of punches in a very short time.
The cannonade-like punches burst forth, creating ripples of air, as the sound of the sonic booms melded into one uninterrupted noise.
In the blink of an eye, the vast estate lay in ruins, with a crater tens of meters wide now forming at the center of the ripples.
This wild mode of battle was almost enough to kill any Sixth Order card master.
However, Leonard didn’t expect to kill a Seventh-Order Dragonkin.
“Physical chaos” isn’t an entirely insurmountable negative status for top-tier powerhouses.
He was well aware that the duration would definitely not be long.
As expected, after enduring several moments of severe damage, a burst of thunderous lightning suddenly erupted from the pit, accompanied by a deep, growling roar, “Domain Expansion: Thunderfall!”
In an instant, the surrounding thunder elements became violent, and thousands of Thunder Snakes, as if sentient, streaked toward Leonard.
“Tsk tsk… A Transformation, eh? So it’s ‘Spade Four – Beastwalker’…”
Leonard’s gaze turned sharp as he sensed the energy from the figure at the bottom of the pit soar multiple times over.
He was well-prepared, the talisman on his glove’s thumb lit up, and “Five Solutions: Defense” kept the destructive thunder at bay.
He stomped on the void and retreated a hundred meters in the blink of an eye.
In his sight, accompanied by a high-pitched, angry dragon’s chant, a nearly thirty-meter-long, triangular-headed purple wingless Thunder Dragon appeared before his eyes.
With the appearance of the dragon’s body, the Dragon’s Might was several times more intense than before.
It was so oppressive that the faces of everyone around changed color in unison.
Looking at this colossal being, the members of the White Family were glad it was not them facing such a terrifying enemy.
Leonard, however, was unconcerned.
Whilst he was disguised as an Information merchant with the adventure group in the Southern Continent, he had already become well aware of the strengths and weaknesses of dragon-blooded card masters.
Beast Transformation did indeed greatly enhance combat power, but the drawbacks were also clear.
The huge body would not only lose some Agility, the area susceptible to attacks would increase, and many spells and Martial Skills would change with the beast form… all these were opportunities to take advantage of.
…
The Triangular Thunder Dragon still had blood trickling from its forehead, eyes burning with rage.
Indeed, it had been hurt by Leonard’s fierce barrage of hammering.
However, compared to the injury, the humiliation suffered was what enraged the proud Pure-blooded dragon descendant.
A pair of massive amber eyes filled with intent to kill, and the flickering thunderclouds in the sky heralded a storm-like counterattack that was about to come.
Yet, Leonard looked on with an evil smile still hanging on his face.
For the proud dragon descendants, “contempt” was an especially effective way to draw hatred.
In an instant, the Thunder Dragon took a couple of deep breaths, forcefully soothing its severely damaged internal organs, and then unleashed a fury-filled blast of thunderous Dragon’s breath.
A clap of thunder burst forth.
Like lightning in a downpour, it allowed no chance for reaction; a Thunder Snake almost a meter in diameter had already pierced through the “Leonard” a hundred meters away.
Yet, as the light shattered, the true form of Leonard had appeared a hundred meters beyond the lightning.
Although his face showed no fear, he did not underestimate the situation in his heart.
It was his first time facing such a formidable adversary, that pressing feeling of his hair standing on end at any moment constantly stimulated his hormone secretion.
The Thunder Dragon was a rare elemental dragon, fast, with very tricky control over thunder.
Thunder spells are nearly instantaneous at short distances, and apart from anticipation, they cannot be dodged by conventional means.
Fortunately, this guy leaned towards the close-combat series, and his spellcasting ability wasn’t too outstanding.
Leonard took another look at the Thunder Light Domain surrounding the dragon, and he had pretty much figured out his opponent’s professional tactics.
This kind of Elemental Domain is the most common form of domain.
Although the thunder element is rare, because it was mentioned in Classic Books, Leonard could basically predict the control range and power of this domain.
Normally, once inside the domain range, one would be suppressed by the Law, and a card master without a protective domain would be at a great disadvantage.
However, Leonard had Black Demon.
This elemental ability, which lacked any strange effects, was the perfect counter.
Leonard didn’t give the enemy a chance to release a second Dragon’s breath; he charged forward with a fierce step into the air.
Upon entering the range covered by the domain, it was like swimming in a pool of lightning.
But the Repulsive Force completely pushed away the thunder elements around him, and he charged forward like an insulator.
After several explosive, zigzagging movements, Leonard was back on the creature’s flank, where he hammered another punch onto the already-cracked dragon scales.
Still using the glove’s “Forbidden Magic” to break through the Elemental Shield, and then channeling Earth Roar with Gravitational Force, he managed to inflict near-real damage.
“Thump,” “Thump,” “Thump”… a series of more than a dozen punches hammered the Thunder Dragon into a furious state.
Though the Beast Transformation made it more resistant to blows, it was merely a live target for Leonard, who had calculated every step and would not make a single mistake.
After all, Black Demon was a Relic of Emperor Lanlingster.
Leonard realized after using it that this relic was simply designed as a battle powerhouse.
Attack, defense, control–it had it all, nearly countering any tactic.
Plus, with Leonard’s ability to calculate every move thoroughly, this “clumsy” Thunder Dragon, strong as it was, couldn’t possibly kill him.
However, after testing the physical strength of Seventh Rank Dragonkin, Leonard also knew it was impossible for him to kill his opponent.
Although the opponent did not practice a Healing Secret Skill like the “Curse of Immortality,” the super self-healing capability brought on by the Dragon Bloodline allowed for rapid recovery from injuries.
