Chapter 205: It Has All Been A Lie

Jules’ pov

I blinked once then twice, unable to believe what I had just heard.

"Huh?" I whispered because that was all that I managed to get out.

Blaze was silent as he regarded me, and then he reached out to cup my cheek, a small huff escaping his lips. "I take it you have no idea of this."

"You were being serious?" I whispered and he laughed. "Why would I lie?"

Oh gods.

Blaze have fucked Taylor before.

Blaze have fucked Taylor before?

And Taylor... and Taylor never ever said anything. Each time we talked about Blaze, he was always against him, he was the last person that I would ever assume have been in Blaze’s bed.

"What’s on your mind?" Blaze asked, massaging my cheek and I blinked up at him.

"I- I didn’t know you’ve fucked... a friend of mine before." I whispered, suddenly feeling sick.

"It was about a year ago... and it happened at a party, with two other omegas." He revealed and I blinked slowly, my brain finding it hard to keep up with all of this.

My first assumption was that it happened with just the two of them, not knowing it involved two extra Omegas.

"So, it wasn’t just the two of you? You didn’t like him before it happened?" I asked and he let out a laugh after a few moments.

"What? I didn’t even know his name. I don’t know the names of the omegas I fuck, they’re all faceless to me." He explained and I slowly nodded.

"Oh."

"Yup. And Taylor tried getting me to fuck him again, but I never did. He always thought he was slick but he never was, which was why I always thought he was pretty dumb."

My mind was still reeling in shock at this revelation.

So, Taylor has been lying to me this whole time, and has actually wanted Blaze while trying to act like he was looking out for me?

I’m gonna be sick.

"Did he... did he ever try to come on to you after I came into the picture?" I asked quietly, holding my breath.

Blaze brushed my hair out of my face as he responded. "You already know the answer to that, bunny."

The wave of shock that engulfed me next was so thick that my knees wobbled.

Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that this would happen.

I mean, I had some suspicions, but they were never that he had slept with Blaze before and wanted more.

A delusional part of me had believed he was looking out for me at a certain point.

Oh, how incredibly stupid I’ve been.

After I took what I needed, packing them in a small bag, Blaze and I exited the dorm.

"I wonder if Andrian listened in on all the conversations we had in there." I mumbled as I locked the door.

"There’s a high chance he did since I’m certain he has the entire place bugged. He’s such a loser." Blaze stated as he slung the black bag I had packed against his shoulder.

I was thankful that my roommate didn’t show up throughout the time I spent in there with Blaze. He hated me enough and would definitely not be pleased at the sight of Blaze.

"Jules?" A familiar voice called and I glanced over my left side, a smile breaking out across my face at the sight of Elio approaching me.

I met him halfway, feeling warmth inside me at his face. He held his hand out and I accepted it, squeezing his fingers. We’ve never hugged before but I feel a deep amount of comfort around him.

"How are you, Elio?" I asked but his eyes were zeroed in on my throat, his nose twitching as he sniffed. Shock was starkly painted across his face as he blinked, mouth opening and closing soundlessly.

"You’re- you’re mated... to Blaze?" I breathed out, clearly shocked and voice pitched low at the end of the question. I bit on my bottom lip as I nodded shyly.

"Oh, Jules! Congratulations!" He whispered, squeezing my hand in his and I grinned shyly, appreciating his attempt to appear happy for me even though I knew he probably thought I was digging my own grave this way.

"Thank you, Elio." I mumbled sincerely, and then my eyes darted to my left side where Blaze was still positioned outside my door, my bag slung over his shoulder and his phone in his hand.

"Are you happy with him?" Elio’s question made me turn back to him and I instantly nodded.

"I am." I responded honestly and he nodded slowly.

"That’s all that matters then. When you were selected to room with him, even though I tried to be positive, I feared that it would be your end; to be honest, everyone did. But you returned back to school with his mating mark, that’s certainly something no one saw coming, including myself."

"Since he has claimed you this way, no one would be able to mess with you ever again. You’re basically royalty at this point, Jules." He gushed out almost excitedly and I blushed.

"Wanna meet him officially?" I suddenly blurted out and Elio’s eyes widened.

"I- I don’t think that’s a great idea." He breathed out and he was probably right but I gripped his hand tighter and began to tug him towards Blaze before I could think twice.

Elio tried getting out of my grip, resisting and explaining that it was a bad idea but we were standing before Blaze in no time.

Blaze noticed us and slowly lowered his phone and I felt Elio grow more tense beside me.

I bit on my bottom lip as I cleared my throat. "This is my friend, Elio."

I glanced at Elio for a moment before looking up at Blaze.

"Elio, meet my mate... Blaze." It felt extremely nice to say that out loud to someone else.

Blaze kept staring down at me and I silently hoped he wouldn’t do something disturbing like try to kill Elio right now because he was bored.

I noticed when Elio inched close to me and I glanced up at Blaze again, and that was when his gaze finally darted towards Elio.

Elio paled at once and I silently wondered if this wasn’t a bad idea.

Blaze stared at him a moment longer before politely holding his hand out.

"Hello, Elio."

Elio almost fainted and I instantly felt bad.

This is definitely a bad idea.

Elio’s mouth wobbled for a moment and I nudged him softly before he accepted the handshake, and for his sake, I pretended not to notice how his hand visibly shook.

"H- hello." He stuttered and a grin slowly stretched across Blaze’s face.

He was clearly enjoying this. I’ll have to have a talk with him about this.

"Nice to meet you, Elio. I hope you’re doing just fine."

I exchanged a few words with Elio and waved him goodbye, and once I was alone with Blaze again, I pointed a hand at him.

"You enjoyed messing with him." I accused and he snorted.

"He was so frightened, it was adorable. That will never get old."

I felt a scowl form on my face and a stupid pang of jealousy tugged at my chest.

"Don’t call him adorable!"

Blaze only laughed as he draped an arm around my shoulders.

"Is my little mate being jealous?" He drawled and I rolled my eyes, ignoring the way my stomach clenched up.

"Don’t mess with him though... he’s my friend and- and I really like the idea of my friend and my mate being able to communicate civilly." I mumbled, peering up at him as I spoke and Blaze sighed almost reluctantly as he steered up towards the entrance of the building.

"Alright, I won’t."
