Jules’ pov

"What?" I cried out again, eyes widening even more. From the side of my eyes, I noticed the second man rising to his feet with a gun and that made me let out a horrified gasp just as the man whose eyes was still currently stabbed, shoved me hard in the chest and I fell to the ground.

Fuck!

My entire inside was going through a mad crisis.

When the man whose eyes was stabbed grabbed the knife and pulled it out his eyes, I let out an horrified sound and avert my eyes from the disgusting sound.

"Why aren’t you shooting?" Blaze’s voice rang out and when I glanced at him, I noticed him standing with his hand on his hips, completely unfazed by the gun currently pointed at him.

The man welding the gun was backtracking and his hands were also trembling.

"I’m not interested in hurting you, I just wanna leave." The man cried out as he kept inching back but Blaze only chuckled as he threw his hands out.

"But that’s boring. Where’s the fun in that?" Blaze continued and before the man realized what was happening, Blaze disappeared and appeared behind him, poking him in the nape. The man let out a startled scream and abruptly whirled around, gun still clutched tightly in his hands.

Blaze easily whisked the gun from him and he used the butt of his gun to hit the man on the head. The man fell to the ground in the next moment, which genuinely shocked me because I didn’t know guns have that much strength.

When I glanced at the groaning man whose eyes were still bleeding so much, my entire stomach turned upside down just as Blaze got to my side. I rose to my feet as Blaze walked towards the groaning man and grabbed the man’s head, jerking it hard and the man howled.

Blaze leaned into the man’s face and spoke. "Cat got your tongue? You aren’t gonna repeat what you said to my mate this time? Huh?" Blaze growled and I felt my chest expand as a rush of emotions rushed into it once again.

"Fuck you. T- the both of you." The man spat out through labored breath, and he had the audacity to spit on Blaze’s face as well.

A gasp got stuck in my throat as Blaze threw his head back and laughed.

"C’mere, bunny." He ordered without glancing backward and I sucked in a sharp breath and slowly I closed the distance between us till I was standing beside him.

The man who was only seeing with one eye let out a laugh, voice sharp. "Think I’m scared of death?"

"I’m not gonna beg because I know you’re gonna kill me. You can get on with it already!" He continued and I flinched a little at the hardness in his voice. "It’s a shame I didn’t get to kill the little one myself though, although it would have been too fucking easy seeing as he’s such a weakling!" He continued, eyes trained on me as he laughed sinisterly.

Blaze was right. These men were would indeed hurt me once ordered to.

I could feel my heart crumbing in my chest. Like I wasn’t insecure enough, this man just had to worsen everything in my head for me.

I was still deep in my thoughts when Blaze’s voice pulled me back to the present.

"Pick up the knife, bunny." Blaze instructed and I spotted said knife a few feet away. I went to pick it and offered it to Blaze once I was beside him once again.

Blaze accepted the knife and glanced at me.

"This is how to kill fools with ridiculous audacity. Pay attention, bunny."

Once he was done speaking, he plunged the knife straight into the stomach of the man. My eyes widened at once, mouth dropping open and heart flying into my throat.

The man stiffened, smile disappearing from his face as his mouth opened wide.

Blaze roughly pulled the knife away and brought the knife upwards before plunging it into the arm of the man. Then he threw a glance at me, eyes twinkling with so much mirth and a smile dancing across his lips.

"This is what you do when you don’t want the fun to be over quickly, when you want to have as much fun as possible with the audacious fool. That’s when you go for the limbs."

As he spoke, my mouth remained open. I was too shocked to close it. My heart was racing so fast that it felt like I might pass out.

The man howled loudly when Blaze slashed his ear off and slashed the knife across his cheek, leaving a deep gnash there.

I was starting to grow dizzy from the gory sight before me, and it was like Blaze could tell because he tsked as his eyes locked with mine.

"Focus, bunny. Don’t look away." He instructed and I breathed through my nose and mouth. I could taste blood on my tongue and that was making bile rise to my throat.

The man was screaming so much and I knew people are definitely hearing of what’s currently happening but are probably too scared to come check what’s happening.

"Look at how he’s screaming. Isn’t it hilarious?" Blaze asked with a laugh and I nodded numbly. My entire mind was blank, I couldn’t really think of anything except for what was currently happening.

"Do you think he has suffered enough? Should I put an end to his miserable life or would you like me to prolong it more?" He asked after a few moments and I let my eyes slide close for a moment while the man’s screams rang out loudly.

"He has suffered enough." I finally breathed out, feeling a little faint.

"Would you like to end his life or you want me to do it?" Blaze asked next and I hurriedly shook my head, heart pounding.

"Y- you do it."

Blaze hummed as he dragged the knife over the man’s chest. "I saved the best for the last as usual."
