Jules’ pov

Taylor: Josh, you’re being difficult on purpose.

Josh: No, T. You’re being ridiculous on purpose. Why bring Kai into this conversation? I don’t like him, I only act like I do around him. I bet Jules doesn’t like him either.

Josh: Jules, do you like Kai?

Taylor: He does. You’re the only one who doesn’t.

Josh: Did he tell you that?

I looked away from the phone and let out a laugh while shaking my head.

What the hell was Taylor’s problem?

That’s the one question sitting in the middle of my mind now that I’m done with reading the entire texts in the newly created group chat.

I contemplating going off in the group chat right now but decided against it, choosing to instead type down a quick text and hit send.

Me: Hi guys, can we hang out today? If you both have time, we can meet up later this evening, or tomorrow.

I discarded my phone after that and made my way into the kitchen, and then I began to microwave the food because I had apparently spent over an hour on the phone reading the bunch of texts, and Blaze was still asleep.

It was past twelve in the afternoon and I briefly wondered if he was naturally a late riser. My mind drifted to the past, when by I’d always wake up first and would want to roll out of the bed, but his hand would prevent that from happening. I also thought back to the moments whereby I’d be able to go down but he’d still be in bed, whereby he’d motion me to come give him a kiss before leaving.

He had woken up first in the morning just once since we began to room together, which made me come to the conclusion that he’s a late riser.

Once the microwave went off, I laid the food on plates and carried it to the bedroom, putting it on the bedside table, and then I crawled into the bed and gently shook him awake. His face was completely smoothed out in his sleep and he still managed to look extremely attractive while being asleep.

"Blaze." I called out softly while shaking him again.

He blinked his eyes open in the next moment, eyes settling on me almost immediately.

A squeak flew past my lips when he grasped my wrist and tugged me down at a pace so fast, I didn’t even see him move, all I felt was a gust of air and in the next moment, I was splayed across his bare chest, his hands across my hips.

"It’s afternoon." I pointed out and he hummed, hands sliding underneath my shirt and I felt my eyes flutter a little.

"Oh, I must have slept in then. I went to take care of something after you fell asleep." He explained, voice still thick with sleep and I shivered a little from the amount of vibrations currently present in his voice.

"Oh. What was that?" I asked just as he sat up and tugged me forward until my ass was resting atop his cock which was hard underneath my hips, making my cheeks darken once again.

"Oh, I went to see Xander." He responded and my eyes, which had slipped close, flew open.

Before I could ask what he meant by what he just said, he was tilting my head and taking my mouth in a hard kiss. I felt my knees which were beside his laps stare to grow extremely weak, mind slowly going blank as his tongue dived into my mouth and stroked across the roof of my mouth.
