Chapter 174: +Chapter 174+

Katya wasn’t sure about what Caspian meant by that, certain that she just misunderstood his words.

Because they would need to take more than a single car, and there would hardly be any need for her to drive any of those cars.

"Excuse me for a moment, I need to make a call." Caspian said when they stepped out of the mansion.

Katya nodded politely, waiting for him while the guards and some of the kitchen staff got cars ready.

"Can you get my car?" Caspian spoke to one of them as he walked off, "Katya and I will be driving in that."

Katya watched the man immediately become a blustering mess when Caspian spoke to him, but the Omega barely noticed, walking off even further to the side to avoid the noise.

She studied him as he pulled out his phone to make a call, she could completely see how he had managed to deceive everyone about his gender.

The male Omega was simply beautiful.

She would have to keep a close eye on him while they were out, she wouldn’t be letting anyone come within ten feet of him.

A sparkling blue car blinded her as it was driven out, Katya’s mouth dropping open as she realized that this was the car she would be driving.

Had the boss really bought this car for his lover despite fully knowing that he couldn’t drive?

A short distance away, Caspian was speaking to Peter because Keith was driving, and he had handed the phone to the other.

"You guys are already on your way?" He asked in pleasant surprise.

"We had a feeling you’d need to leave the mansion after hearing about the free lunch-" Peter was saying.

"He’s lying. We’re coming for the free lunch." Keith’s much distant voice interrupted.

The call didn’t last very long because they were literally already at the gates.

With his bodyguards coming along, the men at the mansion didn’t need to accompany them because a couple of kitchen staff were more than enough.

They still ended up taking three cars just to go to the store, Caspian’s sports car and two others.

He got into the car beside Katya, Keith and Peter taking the lead, and the kitchen staff drawing the rear.

Katya was bubbling with excitement and nerves beside him, but Caspian barely noticed, thinking once again about how he needed to learn to drive.

"Do you want to put the top down?" Katya intruded on his thoughts about driving.

Caspian glanced at her, "Sure, I don’t mind, do you know how to?" He found himself asking, realizing that he hadn’t been paying attention when Asher had done it.

Katya’s expression dropped; she had asked if Caspian wanted the top down but in reality, she was the one who wanted it.

But unfortunately, she had no idea how to do it.

"No." She said glumly.

"It’s fine," Caspian reassured her, "I’ll ask when we get to the supermarket, and we can have it down on our way back."

That was enough to perk her right back up, driving into the parking lot a short while later.

Peter was already standing by the side of the car to open the door for Caspian, the Omega thanking him.

"That’s right," Caspian blurted out, remembering the promise he made to Katya. "Do you know how to retract the car’s roof?"

"I’ll do it," Keith inserted himself into the conversation, cutting Peter a dark look.

Katya beamed when he did as he said he would, and once again, Caspian didn’t pay attention to it.

"You’ll return for dinner, won’t you?" He was asking Peter while Keith put Katya through on how to work the roof.

Peter’s dark eyes dilated, "There will be dinner?"

"Of course," Caspian nodded, "And breakfast tomorrow as well."

"We need to get moving," Katya said as she came around, her cheeks pink with happiness.

The chef handled most of the shopping, it felt to Caspian like following his mom to the grocery store.

His bodyguards and two of the four kitchen staff that had tagged along had stayed in the parking lot.

Because Caspian didn’t want them to crowd the grocery store, although it was as big as a mini mall.

And although, it was just the four of the in the mall, they still managed to attract attention.

Every nosy shopper they came across though seemed to be wary of Katya, giving the glaring Omega a wide berth, which included him.

When they first stepped into the store, Caspian panicked for a moment because this was a very new experience for him.

But Katya had effortlessly taken the helm, as the one previously in charge of shopping.

On the drive back, Katya was bubbling with energy, but Caspian was already starting to feel drained.

He didn’t imagine that they would manage to walk several miles while indoors.

And to think that he would have to do this again in a couple of hours.

Caspian got the chance to take a break when they got back to the mansion. The moving of the foodstuffs was out of his jurisdiction.

Scott and Roy were happy to help deal with that while he logged in records with Katya’s help.

And after he was done, he remained in the study with a bowl of grapes Katya had brought while they were working together.

Outside the study, the kitchen was bustling as they prepared for a large lunch. Caspian didn’t bother stepping out because he knew he would just be in the way, and he didn’t want to go back to the bedroom.

The study was cozy by the way, and the chefs occasionally stepped in to give him updates on lunch, so he was content.

Maybe a little too content because half an hour later, Katya snuck into the study with some cut up fruits for Caspian, only to find him curled up on one of the dainty sofas.

She smiled at the Omega who was fast asleep, he looked really comfortable, and it was just a brief nap, so she would really hate to bother him.
