Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations
Chapter 94: Generals Ready For War

Chapter 94: Generals Ready For War

Drae’mon, in his form resembling a living beast, composed of black Osseoth. He was always the same. Stoic gaze, as if he owned the place, his skeletal frame radiating an aura of unyielding dominance that seemed to bend the air around him.

Leo’sol, the immortal colossus. After his evolution and Rank-up, he had become entirely different. Not just... uglier, but also... crazier. He glared at Drae’mon with hatred. His thoughts were always the same, despite everything.

Why couldn’t his master look at him the way he looked at the little skeleton?

Perhaps because of his size? With these thoughts, Leo’sol wasn’t in his usual colossal form but much smaller, comparable to Drae’mon.

However, nothing changed, leaving the shrunken colossus frustrated.

Then there was SuperCannon. His form remained majestic, only his power had increased with the attainment of Stellar Rank. After all, he had already undergone evolution.

His gaze was arrogant as he observed Leo’sol’s performance. He couldn’t understand how someone could act so foolishly and possess such power at the same time.

Beside the wolf, the well-aligned and proud form of Hero could be seen, nodding seriously to his master’s words. He paid no mind to the others, thinking only of himself, of being the greatest general, leader of the Osseoth Army.

That was his greatest desire.

These were the old members of the team.

Then there was Gustav, the intergalactic cannon, in his smallest, most delicate form.

In truth, every Aberration could change their form, some more than others. It was an intrinsic feature of their Osseoth structure.

Gustav had a... dim-witted and genuine personality. His brain, if he even had one, was fried. He nodded with his barrel at everything. The harder he nodded, the more excited he was.

And at this moment, he was nodding so vigorously that he generated a strong gust of wind around him.

Perhaps because he was created by combining so many elements, it made him foolish. After all, his ability to adapt missiles based on the situation stemmed from the fusion of numerous concepts.

There was a price to pay for strength, after all.

Beside him stood Jordan.

Well, what to say... his personality was too eccentric. In fact, he was the only Aberration who wasn’t... free. He was chained. But not with ordinary chains—through another Aberration.

Jordan, after all, couldn’t calm down. He craved battle, craved war.

Jeremy didn’t know how to react as he observed the monstrous Jordan. His face shifted constantly based on his emotions. It was unsettling...

Finally, there were the new additions, never seen before.

Shady. He was literally a shadow. He had no physical form and was the one restraining Jordan. He was more of a support and control type.

He was... apathetic. A being with no desire to do anything. In short, the exact opposite of Jordan.

That’s why he was created. To keep Jordan in check. And, judging by what he was seeing, it seemed to work... more or less.

Beside the two was her, the only female among the Aberrations.

Well, not that the others had a specific gender... there was even a cannon...

Her name was Yvanna. Yes, Yvanna.

Jeremy wanted to keep alive the memory of the strongest being on the planet... well, before his arrival.

The Aberration was created using humans, but not all of them. After all, balance was still necessary.

Using them to bolster numbers and create powerful Aberrations without taking their concepts, as with Gustav, was one thing.

Wanting all their concepts in a single being was another. It was difficult to achieve without compromises, as happened with Gustav.

Indeed, the Aberration in question was simply the fusion of Yvanna and the devil Malrik.

However, her appearance closely resembled that of the empress, or rather, former empress of the Sariel dynasty, her regal figure adorned with flowing silver hair that shimmered like moonlight, exuding an aura of commanding grace.

There were only a pair of horns that made her more devilish, that’s all.

But her power had undergone an entirely unexpected enhancement.

---

A simple description, Jeremy thought when he first saw it.

However, what it implied was far beyond anything else.

She was literally an army of one, even surpassing Jeremy.

She could unleash vast armies from other realities against anyone she wished.

The Stellar Skill, meanwhile, remained similar, only far stronger.

These were all his generals, the Thalgriths, the strongest beings in his army.

"Oh, I almost forgot to introduce the latest addition to the team," Jeremy said, touching his chest with his hand.

The armor on his body glowed radiantly as it detached from Jeremy and presented itself before everyone.

"My name is Living Aegis, a pleasure to make your acquaintance. From this moment on, I will be our master’s armor."

Yes, Living Aegis, a fitting name that captured its essence.

After those words, all the generals fixed their gazes on it with varying expressions.

In particular, one gaze was locked on it, brimming with challenge.

Of course, it was Drae’mon.

How could someone else be so close to his master? It was unthinkable for the black skeleton.

The only one permitted to stay attached to Jeremy was him.

But, aside from Drae’mon’s peculiar reaction, the others were mostly indifferent. Except for Gustav, who, besides nodding, had started jumping, as if thrilled to have a new younger sibling.

After a moment, the headless silver armor that had come to life returned to its place, back on Jeremy’s body.

"Good." Jeremy smiled, satisfied. He was genuinely happy.

He felt like both father and mother at once. And all the Aberrations were his children.

"It’s time to show everyone who we Veydras are," his voice resonating with a dark promise that seemed to stir the very shadows in the chamber.

Meanwhile, on the devils’ side...

At the heart of the Bloodreaver system, the eponymous clan, one of the ten major devil clans, stood as a bulwark.

Its orbital fortresses, built on asteroids, pulsed with dark energy, while fleets of warships, their hulls covered in demonic runes, patrolled the borders.

The system was a perpetual battlefield, a theater of war against the Diaphane fleets.

"Another incursion," growled Lord Khar, one of the strongest Nova Rank commanders of the Bloodreaver clan, observing a holographic screen in the command room of his flagship, the Sanguine Wrath. "These Diaphanes never learn. They think they can erode our strength with these skirmishes."

Beside him, a slimmer figure, Lady Zeryth, another Nova Rank with wings of black flame, crossed her arms. "They’re not skirmishes, Lord Khar. They’ve been attacking us like this for a while now. They never did this before. They’re preparing for something..."

Lord Khar snorted, his fangs glinting under the red light of the room, his eyes glowing with a predatory intensity that promised bloodshed. "Let them come. We’ll crush them as we always have—"

Just as he was about to finish, an alarm pierced the air.

Then, a mechanical voice boomed.
