Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations -
Chapter 85: Undead World?
Chapter 85: Undead World?
Conquer the world?
What do you mean? Rule over humans, take the emperor’s place, or protect all of humanity from evil by becoming a hero?
Obviously none of those things...
Wouldn’t that be a joke?
The conquest Jeremy had in mind was something else entirely...
With those words spoken, every member of the Osseoth Legion stared at the boy.
He sat on his throne, eyes gleaming with excitement.
His plan was simple.
"My Legion—" he began, his voice low and piercing. "Scatter and unleash chaos. Kill every human being in this world. Also, there’s no need to bring me the corpses."
The air fell silent, but only for a moment.
The next second, a cacophony of sounds shattered the silence.
The Osseoth Legion was cheering.
Jeremy let them, basking in the glory of being the strongest.
But only for a few seconds.
Raising his hand and clenching it into a fist, the army fell silent.
Then, in groups of 1000, the legion moved in every direction.
The generals, by Jeremy’s order, didn’t follow the legion. They didn’t need to—they were enough to take care of anything.
Even if there had been a hidden Rank EX, they wouldn’t have had any problems. They were strong.
The only ones left beside the boy were Cambela, Aliken, Drae’mon, Leo’sol, SuperCannon, Hero, Victoria, and a group of about 1000 humanoid skeletons.
"Good. Cambela, take Aliken, Victoria, and these undead to your lab. Increase the production of Elixirs useful to the cause."
"No problem, Master! Let me handle it." Cambela’s expression was resolute. The task wasn’t difficult, after all. He only lacked manpower.
But now that he had tireless and strong slaves under his command, things would change. Especially thanks to Aliken.
"Also—" Cambela turned to look at Jeremy. "Don’t advance to the Stellar Rank yet, I have a surprise for you."
"Alright, I’m counting on you then."
After exchanging a few more words, the two groups separated.
After everyone left to carry out their tasks, Jeremy remained seated on the throne, waiting.
His head was resting against the backrest, his eyes were closed, and his hands lay on the armrests.
His thoughts were elsewhere, in a place not too far away. A place where part of his Legion was heading.
The North Capital.
That’s right, the place he had started from. The place where it had all begun.
There were some people there he wanted to keep alive.
First of all, his... friends? Jeremy hadn’t considered them as such for a long time. However, he didn’t want to kill them. After all, they had been there in his time of need, when he was weak.
It was a matter of principle.
The other person he wanted to keep alive was the headmistress, Rose Redspine. And speaking of the Redspine family... an unfortunate thing had happened. The head of the family had died inside a Gate, causing the whole family to lose status.
Otherwise, there would’ve been another Rank EX.
That’s why, despite everything, there were no Rank EXs among them. Just a few low-level Rank S, nothing comparable to Rose.
Speaking of her, the reasons to keep her alive were many, but they all boiled down to one thing.
He wanted information about the Gate he had fallen into at the start of his journey—the one that had set everything in motion.
And so, with his eyes fixed on the group of undead, Jeremy gave the order to bring those 3 people to him.
There were also two other kids, actually, who needed special treatment.
Jennie and Archie. The ones who made all of this possible.
The first was the woman he had fallen in love with, the other, his romantic rival. But that was water under the bridge.
If it hadn’t been for them, he would never have reached this level. He’d have ended up like his other friends—huddled somewhere hoping not to die too soon.
Especially with the arrival of this devil threat.
All thanks to Cambela, but details.
Thinking about what the noble had done to him, Jeremy said:
"Mh... should I maybe thank him? Or should I take some time to hurt him?"
Neither of those things. In truth, he didn’t care.
Revenge?
It made no sense.
They could die like all the others, like side characters in his rise to power.
And so, time passed, and everything was taken care of.
All the humans, except for Rose, Nathan, and Ivan, were killed.
But there was no time for explanations.
He’d let them know about the change in the world when they woke up. Obviously, it wasn’t just the humans who had been exterminated.
What about all the Gates and monsters roaming around the world?Simple—
All cleaned up.
They had become mere carcasses.
The sea no longer held life, the sky was empty. Silence ruled the earth.
Only the creaking of bones could be heard.
And so, with everything ready, Jeremy stood up from his throne.
Then, bending down, he placed his hands on the ground.
"Well... now it’s just us, Azure."
"Osseoth... Let It Be Bone"
At first, nothing happened.
But a few moments later, the entire world trembled.
Something was shaking it from deep within. And no, it wasn’t anything like what had happened before.
While before it had been an external force shaking the world, threatening to destroy it, now, the world seemed to tremble from within.
The earth’s crust cracked all over the planet, swallowing hundreds of surprised skeletons.
Not that it could kill them, anyway.
Then, a sea of red and white was absorbed into the earth’s rift.
It was the carcasses of humans and monsters.
They had been modified and transformed into Osseoth, ready to be absorbed by the planet itself.
After all, the idea was simple. Convert the planet into one suited for a necromancer like him.
An undead planet.
The absorption process of all the carcasses continued for about a day before stopping.
The world had changed permanently.
The trees, the sky, the seas. There was no longer any logic to speak of.
However, despite this change in the structure of the world, it didn’t appear different in any way.
The trees were the same as always, the ground scarred, the cities half-destroyed.
It looked the same as before.
Yet, Jeremy could see it.
Everything on this world had been rewritten. A new material, more complete and capable of serving any function, had replaced all old substances.
Of course, it was Osseoth.
"Uh, finally. I thought I wouldn’t make it."
Jeremy’s voice sounded more tired.
But it was normal, he had spent an entire day pumping energy into this process.
And his efforts had paid off.
"Great, now I just have to evolve my generals, create new ones, and modify the army."
With these thoughts in mind, Jeremy stood up from the ground.
He intended to visit Cambela’s lab and check on how the work was going.
Also, she had said something about a gift before advancing to Stellar Rank.
"Mmh, now that I think about it I’m level 299. Killing all those creatures was worth it. Stellar Rank is where the games begin. But we’re still too weak."
And just as he looked down upon his world, marveling at the work done, something strange happened.
A system interface appeared out of nowhere.
Whose could it possibly be?
Jeremy wondered as he looked at it more closely.

"..."
Jeremy was speechless...
The world had become... an Aberration?
What was the logic behind all this? Could he now throw the planet at his enemies? Wasn’t that a bit overpowered?
What could it possibly mean?
And just as Jeremy was lost in his thoughts, Cambela appeared before him.
"Master, what did you do?"
Jeremy merely stared at Cambela’s accusatory gaze. Was she referring to the birth of an Aberration Planet? Even Jeremy had no idea.
Seeing his blank reaction, Cambela explained further.
"In the past day I managed to prepare more Elixir of Concept, as well as Elixir of Law and similar ones.
But, a short while ago, the entire world began absorbing everything... what’s happening?"
Her voice was worried. She hadn’t expected something like this. Some enemy lurking?
"Don’t worry, pretend nothing happened. Keep creating them and, as soon as you make two, bring them here.
Leo’sol and Hero are tired of waiting."
"Also... we’re about to leave this place. But don’t worry, you won’t notice a thing."
Jeremy kept saying things that made no sense to Cambela, but as a loyal subordinate, she didn’t stop him or ask for more.
But just as Jeremy was about to dismiss Cambela, a strange figure appeared beside the two.
It was rather ethereal. Its body was humanoid, but it had no face.
Only long, smooth, sky-blue hair that reached its knees. Its gender was undefined.
At the sight of this being, Cambela was startled, nearly jumping in place.
Jeremy, however, felt a strong connection with it.
It was as if it were a part of him.
"Pleasure to meet you, Master Jeremy! I am the manifestation of the will of planet Azure." It said, bowing 90 degrees.
"Please grant me a name—" it added, straightening its back and staring at Jeremy’s face.
Of course, it had no eyes, which made it even stranger.
"Master!? What do you mean, the manifestation of planet Azure?" Cambela shouted at Jeremy.
"Oh—" Jeremy thought for a moment before saying:
"It’s exactly what it said. It’s our new addition to the Osseoth Legion. It was a bit unexpected, but it was the one who took all your Elixirs."
