Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations -
Chapter 103: Quasar!
Chapter 103: Quasar!
Sylvara, like Korzath, couldn’t make out Drae’mon’s shadow, but they could guess who it was.
After all, they had seen the records of the battle that took place the previous day in the Ebonveil system.
"What do I do?!" Sylvara murmured, her eyes teary. She hadn’t expected something like this, not so soon at least. She knew she’d be safe; the Aberration was on her side, from what she’d seen, but her heart ached.
She didn’t want Korzath to die.
"Surrender!" she said with a mental whisper toward the devil, but he didn’t even hear it before his head was cleanly severed.
Despite his unleashed Authority, he could do nothing against the skeleton.
"Noooo!" Sylvara screamed, tears in her eyes, her radiant form trembling with a grief that seemed to ripple through the starlit void.
But noticing a fixed gaze on her, as if questioning what she was opposed to, Sylvara added, "I so wanted to kill him myself!"
Her eyes were swollen with tears as she barely held back sobs. She couldn’t voice her true thoughts, or she’d die without knowing how.
Drae’mon didn’t care at all about the woman’s inner thoughts. His master had told him to kill all the devils, and to do it as quickly as possible, and he would.

The remaining devil clans, witnessing the destruction of the Ebonveil system and the desperate situation on the Shadowrend and Bloodwrath fronts, had formed a desperate alliance. Three Eclipse Ranks from different clans—Mal’therion of the Ashend Clan, Zythera of the Voidclaw Clan, and Drak’vorn of the Emberwrath Clan—decided to band together to prevent their demise.
Mal’therion, a devil with ashen wings and an Authority that turned matter to dust, led the group.
Zythera, a female devil with eyes that could hypnotize entire armies, possessed the Authority Mindveil Tyranny.
Meanwhile, Drak’vorn, the most brutal, wielded the Authority Cataclysm Forge to create weapons of pure destructive energy.
Facing them was none other than Yvanna.
"Monster!" Mal’therion roared, his voice echoing through space as the three approached. "How dare you invade our systems so brazenly?"
Yvanna didn’t respond.
She simply smiled, her eerie grin radiating a chilling menace that seemed to freeze the surrounding void.
"Pathetic, why don’t you just die already?" she said as she approached with otherworldly speed, using her fists to vent her rage on them.
The day before, she had been in the mirror dimension, playing with the Nova Rank devils, when a surge of power overwhelmed her. She had become a Nova Rank too.
With her power, it had become hard to have fun with those weak devils, so she killed them shortly after.
She wanted new test subjects to play with.
Meanwhile, the other devil systems under this trio were being devastated by SuperCannon and Leo’sol’s attacks, who could rampage as they pleased. After all, they didn’t have to face any Overlords, only weak Eclipse Ranks.
---
Aboard the Chronos, Aion and Kairos watched the scene with contrasting expressions. Aion, with silver hair shining like stars, was euphoric. "Did you see, Kairos? He’s a monster! We absolutely have to bring him to our side!"
Kairos, the dark twin, clenched his fists, his black eyes reflecting the void. "Don’t be foolish, Aion. This Jeremy is a threat. If we let him grow, he’ll destroy us all. We need to act now, before he becomes a full Eclipse Rank."
Aion tilted his head. "Brother, we can’t. Remember the universal agreement?"
Kairos’s expression twisted with rage and disgust. "We, superior beings, have to abide by trivial universal rules... this universe feels like a joke! Is it possible that we’re this weak?"
Kairos vented all his frustration.
Despite their race ruling the entire universe, they were nothing in the grand scheme of things.
Their universe was just one of many, one of the weakest, in fact.
"We need to take that guy, Jeremy. We need him to conquer all the universes. I won’t settle for being the weakest!"
"Brother," Aion murmured, his voice trembling. "You don’t mean to use that thing, do you?!"
"We have to, Aion, for our future. Besides, the boy needs us. The galaxy’s controller is too strong; only we two can hold them at bay, just enough to let him reach Eclipse Rank.
I’m sure the two supreme beings of the warring races have noticed Jeremy’s instability and power. They’ll act at the right moment. And we two must help him. Then we’ll use that thing."
The two continued their discussion, their tone growing more serious.
Meanwhile, Jeremy sat calmly aboard Azure, watching his army spread terror everywhere.
His level was rising, getting ever closer to the coveted Eclipse Rank. He needed to develop his own Authority.
But Jeremy already had it in mind. Naturally, it would be Osseoth Authority, based on his concept.
Moreover, each of his Aberrations had to develop their own Authority before advancing.
---
The Shadowrend system was an inferno of flames and light, a battlefield where the Shadowrend Clan fought a desperate war against the Diaphanes and Jeremy’s Aberrations.
Vyrakoth, the Eclipse Rank devil, was on his knees, his side torn open by Lirien’s prismatic spear and his body battered by Jordan’s blows. His Authority, Flame of Ruin, still burned, but his strength was fading.
Zyra, his Nova Rank protégé, was trapped in Lirien’s barrier, her fiery wings thrashing uselessly.
"Warrr," Jordan hissed, his eyes gleaming with madness. Shady, hidden in his shadow, let out a faint growl, as if warning him to calm down.
But Jordan, after killing Vyrakoth, was already lost in his frenzy, his power growing with each kill.
Zyra watched the scene in disbelief, but before she could utter a word, Hero raised a hand, and a wave of golden energy overwhelmed her, disintegrating her in an instant.
Lirien froze, his prismatic face contorted in a mix of respect and fear. "These... monsters," he murmured. "Who is this Jeremy, to command such creatures?"
---
In the Bloodwrath system, the chaos was even more intense.
Korzath’s death at Drae’mon’s hands had broken the morale of the Bloodwrath Clan. Sylvara, kneeling among the ruins of Syth’arak, vented her frustration by killing devils. Her beloved was dead; she no longer cared about anything.
Two other figures were fighting elsewhere. Two more Eclipse Ranks, a devil and a Diaphane.
Their enmity was long-standing, their hatred even more pronounced. They were throwing everything at each other, ready to kill, when a shadow appeared behind the devil and ended his life.
Drae’mon struck like lightning, and the devil’s head was severed from his body. The fight was over just like that.
"Huh?" said the Eclipse Rank Diaphane. "What just happened?!" He had only felt a gust of wind, nothing more, and then... his opponent was destroyed.
"Oh, I remember... they were supposed to arrive by now. He calls them Aberrations... well, they really are," the Diaphane muttered cautiously under his breath, his luminous eyes flickering with wary awe.
He didn’t move at all, afraid of being killed by mistake.
---
Aboard Azure, Jeremy felt the power growing within him. Every victory of his Aberrations, every fallen devil, every destroyed system brought him closer to the Eclipse Rank.
His Osseoth Authority was taking shape. Once obtained, there would be no escape for anyone.
On the other hand, Azure was devouring the Nexuses of the destroyed systems. Only three remained, and his upgrade would be lethal!
"Well, soon everything will be ours!"
But just as he spoke, space rippled, and an overwhelming presence shook the entire galaxy.
Two figures emerged from the void, their power so immense that even Azure froze.
They were the so-called "Galaxy Controllers," two beings at the Quasar Rank, the supreme level beyond imagination.
One was from the devil race, the other from the Diaphanes. Apparently, they had allied to confront Jeremy once and for all.
The first was Pes’keth, the devil Controller, a colossus of flames and darkness, his towering form radiating an aura that seemed to consume the very fabric of space. His Authority, Abyssal Sovereign, allowed him to manipulate the universe’s structure, bending physical laws to create black holes and collapse stars with a single thought.
Every movement left a trail of destruction, and his voice was a thunder that shook souls.
Beside him was Luminarion, the Diaphane Controller, a being of pure light that seemed made of condensed stars, his radiant presence illuminating the void like a newborn galaxy.
His Authority, Celestial Dominion, allowed him to rewrite events in real-time. Legends say he had never taken a hit in his entire life.
The two had faced each other for eons, their legendary battles shaping entire galaxies. But now, their eyes were fixed on Jeremy.
"You," Pes’keth roared, his voice shaking the void. "You destroyed the Nexus. You broke the balance. Satisfied? Now you’ll die."
Luminarion, calmer but equally lethal, added in a low voice.
"Your power is an anomaly, Jeremy. We cannot allow it to grow further. Your existence threatens even ours. We cannot let you grow anymore."
Jeremy, still seated on his throne, laughed. "You’re threatening me?"
Despite appearing calm, he knew better than anyone that he couldn’t confront these two. He wouldn’t die... maybe.
But before the two Quasar Ranks could act, space warped, and Aion and Kairos appeared, their bodies shimmering with temporal and spatial energy.
Aion, with silver hair floating like an aura, raised a hand, slowing time around Pes’keth.
Kairos, with a gesture, bent space, creating a barrier that separated Luminarion from Jeremy.
"Stop!" Aion shouted, his voice filled with determination, its resolute tone cutting through the cosmic tension like a blade. "This boy is under our protection. You won’t touch him."
Kairos, colder, added, "We need him. Alive."
