Bone Alchemist: Necromancer of The Aberrations
Chapter 101: Ebonveil System Fallen

Chapter 101: Ebonveil System Fallen

The Nexus became unstable, as if it were losing its connection with everything it had bonded with.

Its entire being was being erased from within.

The link with the other Nexuses was severed in an instant, while poor Zorathar, surrounded by all the Diaphanes in a distant place, suddenly lost his power and was killed instantly.

The Nexus’s outer shell remained intact, but its essence had vanished.

"Well, not exactly as I expected, but it’s still a victory. Now, Azure, it’s your turn."

Jeremy forced a smile as he said those words, his eyes glinting with a mix of triumph and calculated anticipation.

Meanwhile, Azure was ready. The ship changed form again, taking on the appearance of an enormous mouth, at least a quarter the size of the Nexus.

However, its voracity knew no bounds.

Opening its maw wide, a force sucked in the entire Nexus.

"Well done, Master, it’s done." Azure’s monotone voice echoed in Jeremy’s mind.

He had just devoured the Nexus.

"Good. How do you feel?"

"For now, nothing different. I need to digest it to absorb its effects."

"Alright, then we just wait." Jeremy replied as the ship changed form once more, assuming its humanoid appearance, its sleek, azure form shimmering faintly under the starlight.

"Let me do one last thing for you, Master."

Without saying more, his body moved at incredible speed toward the two Eclipse Rank members of the Ebonveil clan.

Shir and Frish were still stunned by what they had witnessed. Likewise, the two Diaphanes were speechless. They hadn’t expected the boy’s plan to always target the Nexus.

Could he have been the greatest victor of this war?

But just as everyone sought explanations, Azure appeared before the four.

Looks of astonishment colored the faces of the Eclipse Ranks in combat. No one expected a Stellar Rank being to suddenly appear among them.

But that wasn’t what shocked them. It was the power the newcomer displayed.

It made them cautious.

But before anyone could even think of making a move, Azure vanished again, reappearing beside the two devils.

Then, with a simple punch, two blows rang out everywhere at the same instant.

It was the sound of their heads exploding.

"So simple," Azure said as he vanished again, returning to Jeremy’s side with new loot. It wasn’t common to find the corpses of two Eclipse Ranks, after all.

Well, it would soon become normal.

With those kills, Jeremy’s power skyrocketed once more.

Not to mention, the other Aberrations were also bringing a flood of experience points to the boy.

Every level-up made him a bit stronger, but he wasn’t the only one. His Aberrations grew in strength directly proportional to his own.

It was an endless, positive cycle.

Before Jeremy, the lifeless bodies of the two Ebonveil clan devils appeared alongside Azure’s figure.

"Well done, Master. With this, I’d say we can conclude our assault and definitively destroy this system."

Jeremy was speechless. He knew Azure was strong, but he hadn’t expected him to be this strong.

But it was obvious; the two devils, despite their Eclipse Rank, had weak and insignificant Authorities.

But that was only because Azure’s power was truly that immense. The only Aberration with ETERNUM potential. Moreover, his strength wasn’t normal. He was a damn planet!

"Well said, Azure. It’s time to conquer this galaxy."

---

Meanwhile, Kael-Zoryn and Pro-Siut were left dumbfounded. Everything had happened so quickly they couldn’t process it.

The Nexus had vanished just like that; the two enemy devils from the Ebonveil clan, for whom a tough battle was expected, had been destroyed in one blow.

And as if that weren’t enough, the devils on the Ebonveil system’s planets were being massacred at a speed dozens of times faster than before.

Jeremy had used his fusion ability with the Aberrations to merge with all of them, except Yvanna, who was still in a parallel reality having fun with all the enemy Nova Ranks, unleashing a terrifying spectacle.

The Ebonveil system was covered in an infinity of bones. The entire system became impossible to see from the outside, a grotesque shroud of osseous debris cloaking it in an eerie, deathly veil.

"Alright, let’s go wild!"

Jeremy’s excited voice echoed everywhere, freely using Gustav and SuperCannon’s powers. He began devastating everything; it was a beautiful spectacle.

And as he enjoyed destroying everything, his emotions surged, generating more power and more devastation.

"Well, now I understand why Jordan goes crazy so easily... it’s really hard to control yourself with such power growing inside you almost infinitely," the boy murmured as he continued his rampage.

The first planet targeted was Drimveil, previously occupied by Jordan and Hero.

Now it was completely devastated, all life within it utterly destroyed.

Then he moved to Nightspire, where an undead army was fighting the devils.

"Let’s try this..." Jeremy said as he used Hero’s power to enhance his army.

An instant later, the Osseoth Army on Nightspire became dozens of times stronger. What was once a nearly balanced fight turned into a mass extermination.

Every monster became faster, stronger, more resilient.

And so, in record time, the army conquered the planet, destroying everything on it.

Next was Duskend, the distant planet targeted solely by Drae’mon.

Here, Jeremy had fun in close combat, tearing off the devils’ limbs one by one, killing them with disarming ease.

His entire body was now covered in gleaming, white, bony armor, its surface radiating an ethereal sheen that made him look like a god of death incarnate.

His previous silvery armor, which protected him, had also been absorbed in the fusion.

The Aberration Living Aegis was not just armor that provided protection to Jeremy but also versatility and teleportation abilities.

It had been created based on the powers of the two human imperial consuls, granting him these capabilities.

Now, he was fully exploiting the teleportation ability to kill every devil without moving a muscle, merely controlling the space around him.

Then came Shadowcrux.

This planet, as fate decreed, was bombarded with absurdly powerful missiles, devastating its surface in no time.

And finally, it was Umbravox’s turn.

On this planet, the Diaphanes continued fighting and were winning decisively.

Firstly, there were no Nova Rank devils interfering, and the devils were demoralized.

Their reactions were slow and futile; the Diaphanes were killing them like ants.

And so, a few hours after Gustav’s devastating shot, Limitless Destruction, the Ebonveil system was destroyed, every devil massacred.

---

Seated on his floating throne in space, Jeremy gazed at the void. His armor, the Living Aegis, had returned to him, enveloping him in a silvery glow.

Beside him, Azure, in his humanoid form, floated. His azure hair waved even without wind, its strands shimmering like liquid starlight against the backdrop of the cosmos.

"Master," Azure said, his voice a whisper echoing in Jeremy’s mind, "the Nexus is inside me, but its essence... is unstable. It’s trying to resist, to reform."

Jeremy narrowed his eyes, a sharp smile on his face. "That means only one thing, doesn’t it?"

Azure turned his head toward him. Though he had no face, a faint smirk could be sensed. "Exactly, Master. It means we need every Nexus in this galaxy to achieve stability."

"Also, that someone spying on Cambela and others within the system seems to have vanished. Could they have noticed us, Master?"

Jeremy’s gaze grew thoughtful.

"I don’t think so... maybe they were just curious about us... or perhaps they expected something else. Either way, it doesn’t matter. If they want to come find us, let them."

The two continued conversing for a while before two beings appeared before him.

They were Overlord Kael-Zoryn and Eclipse Rank Pro-Siut.

"Pleasure to meet you, Jeremy. Zyr-Vaelis told us a lot about you." Overlord Kael-Zoryn spoke without concern, his prismatic form radiating a calm yet commanding presence that seemed to bend the light around him.

"Judging by what I’ve seen, you’re a very special being, but above all—" His expression grew serious as he continued. "You’re strong, very strong."

Jeremy smiled faintly. He had expected this visit, actually.

After all, his presence meant one thing.

Variability. Nothing was constant anymore.

Their mission to destroy the Ebonveil clan had indirectly benefited Jeremy.

Of course, it wasn’t as if he needed the Diaphanes’ help.

In fact, it was Jeremy who helped them avoid many losses.

"Pleasure to meet you. Who am I speaking with?" Jeremy’s voice was gentle, not at all arrogant.

The prismatic figure before him was surprised by this. He had expected the creature in front of him to be extremely arrogant, but he appeared calm and kind.

But the Overlord had seen him fight. Nothing he knew could describe his insane power and abilities.

"Oh, forgive me, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Overlord Kael-Zoryn, but you can just call me Kael-Zoryn... this beside me is a new Eclipse Rank member of our race, Pro-Siut."

"Pleasure to meet you," the other added with a nod, almost intimidated.

Jeremy returned the nod.

Then silence fell. Azure beside Jeremy didn’t utter a word.

But the two Diaphanes knew it was he who had taken out the two Eclipse Rank devils with one blow. That’s why Pro-Siut seemed somewhat uneasy.

"Relax, alright? I’m not going to eat you."

Jeremy’s words confused the two. Eat them? Did he mean like he did with the Nexus?

Reaching this line of thought, a shiver ran through them as they slowly turned their heads toward the empty space where the Nexus once stood.

"Oh, we’re here to propose an alliance. An alliance to take down the devils once and for all. This race is too sinful to exist."

"Oh? And why should I join you?" Jeremy asked, his voice calm and gentle as always.
