Chapter 181: Maxwell can’t tell the full truth
Andrew and Maxwell had a rather relaxed evening after the craziness of the plans they had made. Maxwell didn’t have any work he needed to complete, so when they got home, Maxwell helped Andrew by setting the table and Andrew warmed up the food he had prepared for the night ahead of time because they knew it was going to be a late night getting home.
They didn’t realise how late, but such was life. Andrew was just happy to have a nice ending to the day so that he could gear up for tomorrow and get hassled. Meeting Maria had actually been a small blessing in disguise.
It had helped him get into the mindset of what he could potentially be in for when he went to dinner tomorrow. It also, like he told Maxwell, what he could be in for as well. Maria was a sweet girl from what he had remembered of her, and she turned into a sweet woman as she had aged. Andrew was actually quite happy that he’d gotten to see her, and her family.
It was good to see that Zack still looked at her like that. It soothed a small part of him. He’d been the one to practically cut everyone off after his Mom had died. Maybe it was time to try and reach out to people, see if they were interested in meeting up for coffee or something. He had a sneaking suspicion that if he had had more people around him when everything had gone down with Tracey, he potentially wouldn’t have manifested the way that he had.
Dinner complete, and a sleepy, but pleased Maxwell in his lap as Andrew rubbed his back, Andrew felt like he had truly succeeded in life.
With that being said, he knew that they needed to discuss the daycare. And what they wanted to do with their day tomorrow before they had to go for dinner.
"Maxy?" Andrew called softly and Maxwell turned his head slightly to look up at Andrew. He was relaxed across his lap, Andrew’s fingers scratching at his back carefully. Maxwell looked so comfortable. He was even having a hard time keeping his eyes open. He was stretched out like a cat, his whole body boneless.
"Hmm?" He responded and Andrew felt a wide smile cross his lips. He reached down with his other hand, running his fingers through his hair. Maxwell went even more lax.
"What do you want to do tomorrow during the day?" Andrew asked and Maxwell sighed.
"This? Can we do this?" Maxwell asked and Andrew chuckled.
"We can, of course, do this, but it could get boring after a while. Is there anything else on your mind?" Andrew asked and Maxwell closed his eyes again.
"I was thinking we could start the day with a shower together, get all nice and relaxed, maybe blow off some steam. Have breakfast. This. Have lunch, maybe have another shower since we had such a hard day, and then get ready for dinner and head over. I have the flowers I’ve selected being delivered tomorrow around lunch so we don’t have to worry about it affecting our plans for the day." Maxwell told him, turning again to smile coyly up at Andrew. Andrew shook his head, smiling.
"Two showers? Isn’t that a waste of water?" Andrew teased and Maxwell scoffed.
"If you think so, maybe I’ll find something more fun to use in the shower and you can just watch, hmm?" Maxwell’s smile reached his eyes when he looked up at Andrew. Andrew frowned down at him. "Or are you bragging you aren’t a quick shot, Dr. Knox?" Maxwell asked, turning onto his back, lying on Andrew’s hand as he reached up and touched Andrew’s face.
Andrew leaned into the touch, rubbing his face against his touch.
"I’m not bragging. If you wanted me to cum quickly, I could do that, but I seem to understand that you like it when I don’t cum quickly." Andrew replied. "You like it when you can get off multiple times before I do." Andrew told him with a smirk of his own and Maxwell laughed.
"Oh I’m glad you understand me so well. It’s a good thing that your boyfriend is a CEO, isn’t it? I can afford that extra water so you can stay nice and hard for me for as long as you can." He teased and Andrew turned his face into Maxwell’s hand, planting a kiss there.
"Well, if my boyfriend is a CEO, I have to make sure that he’s nice and satisfied so he never leaves me for a perky young secretary." Andrew teased in return. "Who knows what those new secretaries are packing, hmm?" Maxwell laughed.
"Baby, I doubt there is anyone who is packing as much as you down there, or if I would ever want someone like you again. Don’t get me wrong, I love the way you fill me, but I wouldn’t want someone to ever replace the memories of you in my mind." Andrew felt his heart melt. He was already vulnerable from how cute Hewett had been all day, and from how Maxwell had stood up for him at the daycare, and now this?
"You don’t want to replace your memories of me?" Andrew said, his voice soft. "Even if we broke up?" Andrew asked and Maxwell frowned.
"We aren’t breaking up, Andrew. You’d better be ready to die with me, because I’m not letting you go." Andrew nearly choked. Maxwell hadn’t told him that he loved him, at least not when sober, and Andrew was fine with that.
Maxwell said it with his actions more than Andrew could ever say it with his words, but this? This was too much. Andrew could feel his eyes water.
"You won’t?" Andrew asked and Maxwell narrowed his gaze at him, his hand cupping Maxwell’s face slapping it gently.
"Are you planning to?" Maxwell demanded and Andrew laughed wetly, shaking his head. He pushed his glasses up, rubbing at his eyes to stop the tears before they fell.
"No, I have no plans, it’s just...normally when someone says something like that, they also have a ring." Andrew teased and Maxwell rolled his eyes.
"Oh, I didn’t think of you as a materialistic man, Andy. Are you only dating me for my money?" Maxwell gasped, placing his free hand over his heart and faking shock. Andrew laughed.
"Oh yes. That’s all I see when I look at you. Money. Not the handsome, beautiful man with a smart mind, pretty eyes, and an ass that I could eat for hours." Maxwell flushed, his ears turning bright red. He let out a bark of laughter, turning his gaze away. It was clear he was a little embarrassed by what Andrew had said, especially from the way his lips had puffed out slightly.
God, Andrew found this man adorable.
"You could have stopped at money. No one needs to be eaten that long." Andrew gasped, a devious smile on his face.
"Oh, I have a feeling I know what I’m doing during my rut." Andrew said and Maxwell gasped.
"You have no control over what happens when you go into a heat or rut. You don’t know what you’ll do." Maxwell protested and Andrew chuckled.
"Maxy, that just sounds like you’re afraid to be spread wide open while I have my way with you. Wouldn’t you prefer that to me folding you into positions you aren’t so sure about because you can’t see my face?" Andrew asked and expected Maxwell to protest, or at least speak right away.
When he remained quiet, Andrew perked up.
"Wait, do you-"
"I don’t mind when you’re in your rut." Maxwell, flustered, exclaimed. Andrew let out a soft chuckle. Maxwell’s blush had shifted, actually covering his whole face as Andrew pulled this detail from his lips. Andrew felt shocked. Maxwell had made it seem like he didn’t really like them. This was a surprise.
"Oh, I had no idea." Andrew felt like he had been blindsided. Of course, he still believed Maxwell when he said he had preferences, and would do his best to respect them, but this was...
"You aren’t in control of yourself when you’re in your rut, Andrew. Of course I’m ready to accept anything you throw my way when you’re like that. What kind of partner would I be if I wasn’t able to do that much? I know it’s not a given, but I, at least, don’t see it as such a great task that I would never help you out. Plus, you were so focused on making sure I felt good that I just...it was fine." Maxwell mumbled and Andrew felt his shoulders relax.
"Oh thank goodness. I had a small fear that we had messed up in our communication somewhere. I’m glad that wasn’t the case." Andrew said, closing his eyes before he opened them to stare down at the man who was slightly flustered under him. "But I have a feeling, if you said that I was focused on making sure that you were feeling pleasure, that this next rut I am going to be very attentive in a very particular way. You’ll have to let me know when I do go through my rut." Andrew told him and Maxwell swallowed.
"No. I’m going to lie about it, especially if you don’t remember it." Maxwell declared and Andrew laughed.
"You’re so mean!" Andrew said and Maxwell smirked.
"I am. Now give me a kiss. It’s almost bedtime, and I want my space heater wrapped around me to keep the cold out." Andrew chuckled, bending to kiss his soft lips. Andrew adored that he was so sensitive to the cold since it gave him an excuse to cuddle. Maxwell wasn’t going to ask for something like that outright, but he would ask for a space heater. He was so stinking cute.
