Chapter 110: I will squeeze it out of you
Chapter 110: I will squeeze it out of you
Andrew gulped, turning to look at the man behind him. His throat worked as Maxwell stared up at him, a devious, knowing grin on his face.
"Did you think I was an idiot?" He demanded, and Andrew closed his eyes.
"N-No, I didn’t think that at all!’ He said, and Maxwell’s smile fell.
"Then why were you trying to hide it for me? There’s no way you could have. You’ve grown almost another full foot in height, Andrew. And you’ve gotten broader. I’m not the one who needs glasses between the two of us." Andrew bit his lip, embarrassed, nervous, and shame filling him.
It was clear that Maxwell was upset with him, and Andrew understood why. As partners, they shouldn’t keep things from each other. That much was obvious. But Andrew just...
"I just...I just wanted everything to feel normal before it had to change again." He admitted quietly. Maxwell exhaled quietly, before he attacked Andrew, wrapping the man in his arms and squeezing him as tightly as he could.
Andrew didn’t complain, but he wasn’t sure what he’d done to deserve this.
"For a man who is supposed to be very smart, you can be incredibly dumb sometimes." Maxwell muttered, and Andrew couldn’t help but laugh at himself.
"Ouch. That hurts." He joked, but Maxwell didn’t reply right away, just hugging him. That forced Andrew into silence, and having to sit with what he’d done, and what Maxwell had said. Shuddering, he held onto the smaller man, who felt even smaller now with his growth spurt. "I didn’t want to admit it." Andrew admitted.
Maxwell’s grip on Andrew tightened further, and Andrew didn’t know what to do, or to say. His eyes were already watering, and he fucking hated how he had no control over himself still.
"Baby. It’s okay to have these feelings, but I don’t like it when you don’t tell me about them. I don’t like when you suffer on your own. You can trust me with your worries." Andrew flinched.
"I do trust you. This isn’t about trust! I just...I don’t want to burden you with..." Maxwell pulled back, releasing Andrew to grip onto his face with his hands, squishing it.
"Andrew Knox, you are not a burden. You will never be a burden, and you have not been a burden. I am a greedy man. As soon as I made you mine, I wanted everything. All the good, and all the bad. I want it all. I will not be satisfied until I do have it all, and even then, I want more." Maxwell’s gaze was serious, hard, but full of a deep affection that made the first tear fall from Andrew’s eyes. "You are such a big baby." Maxwell said affectionately, and Andrew laughed.
"I swear it’s only after I met you that I became like this." Andrew defended, and Maxwell chuckled.
"Good. I should be the only one seeing Andrew like this. A big baby, all for me. Mine to hold, mine to comfort. Mine to possess. You are mine, and I will not have you damaging my goods, am I clear? None of this," Maxwell took his hand away from Andrew’s face to wave his hand dismissively. "Hiding things from me, alright? I hate it. More because it hurts you more in the long run. I don’t care if it’s things like this morning. That was very touching, and it hurt no one." Andrew nodded, and Maxwell put his both hands back on his face.
"O-Okay." Andrew sniffed, and Maxwell smiled.
"You aren’t going to protest? Throw a fit? You aren’t allowed to belong to anyone else, Andrew. I mean it. I won’t let you get away now that I have you." Maxwell warned, and Andrew knew he probably should have been afraid. Any normal person would have.
The old beta version of Andrew probably would have at the very least denied Maxwell softly, but the new version of Andrew?
He placed his hands on top of Maxwell, giving them a squeeze.
"That means you belong to me too, right?" Andrew asked, and watched as Maxwell’s ears turned bright red. It then spread to his cheeks.
"Fuck. You aren’t scared at all." Maxwell muttered, and Andrew gave a wet laugh.
"Why would I be scared, Maxy? You’ve treated me so well since everything that happened, and you didn’t make fun of me. You got angry on my behalf. Your whole family basically did, and you support me wholeheartedly. Why would I ever protest belonging to someone who has been so supportive, caring, and kind?" Maxwell seemed at a loss for words at Andrew’s. Andrew gave him a watery smile.
"Andrew-"
"You talk like I’m making this big sacrifice by being here. Like it’s something hard to do. I don’t know what others have said to you Max, and I don’t actually want to know, but I promise you, being with you isn’t hard. It’s very easy. I know you sometimes do things to try and scare me away, but it’s not going to happen. I am not running away. So you can do whatever you want. Hell, you can use me however you want. I’m...I’m yours." Andrew said, his heart in his throat as he watched Maxwell’s eyes water.
He ducked his head, taking a few, shaky breaths in. His grip on Andrew’s face tightened, before he raised his hand and yanked him down, kissing Andrew with such force Andrew was worried about their lips. He softened after a second, coaxing Andrew into a deeper, sensual kiss that had both of them short of breath when he pulled away.
"I never expected to feel this way about another person." Maxwell told him softly, their lips brushing against each other. Andrew melted.
"Oh Maxy." He whispered. Maxwell swallowed.
"I really didn’t. I thought I was going to be alone forever. I didn’t think that my interaction with you would lead to anything. And yet, here we are, and I can’t imagine another man by my side. It was hard. Meeting you and knowing you were with someone else. But I would rather have that than never having you in my life." Maxwell said, and Andrew’s eyes spilled over again.
Moving Maxwell’s hands from his face, he wrapped them around his neck so that he could hug him against his chest. Feeling him in his arms, holding him, soothed the beast that was growing inside of him.
"Oh Maxy. That breaks my heart to hear." Andrew whispered and Maxwell’s arms tightened around his neck.
"Now you know how I feel when you talk about yourself like you’re a monster. You aren’t. You just went about this a different way. You’re still you. You are still Andrew, and even if you don’t believe that, I do. I want you to trust me with all of you. I want you to give me all of you. I don’t want to see you hurting and for you to not let me help you." Andrew’s heart shattered as he heard the little sniff from Maxwell.
"I’m sorry I was keeping things from you. It’s...it’s hard for me to change Max. I’ve been alone for so long, and even when my Mom was around, she was sick for the last year of her life. I’ve kept everything inside since then." Maxwell’s grip on him tightened.
"But you can trust me. I don’t want to hurt you, and I don’t want to see you hurting Andrew. Please? Please stop hiding things from me." Maxwell was begging Andrew, and any form of resistance he had evaporated when Maxwell raised his face and there were tears rolling down his cheeks.
Giving in, he pressed his forehead against Maxwell’s, his own tears flowing easily.
"It won’t be too much for you?" Andrew asked softly, and Maxwell shook his head.
"No. Never. I’m greedy, remember? It’ll never be enough." He said, and Andrew’s body shook.
"I don’t want to scare you away. I don’t know what these new feelings and emotions could do to you." Andrew whispered and Maxwell scoffed.
"They can’t be worse than my own. Do you think I show you exactly how possessive I am of you all the time, Andrew? No, I don’t. You don’t even know half of it. I feel like a dog marking its territory half of the time, and the other half I feel like a giant bouncer chasing away drunk idiots." Maxwell sniffed. "You’re too handsome for your own good." Maxwell declared hotly, and Andrew felt a laugh bubble out of him.
"Me? I’m too handsome? Maxwell, have you looked in a mirror lately? Did you forget you took me on several dates disguised as business meetings as your bodyguard. You’re so pretty, and handsome, and all of the descriptors for beautiful that I know I’ll be chasing away others for the rest of our lives." Maxwell’s face turned red.
"That’s not-"
"You’re going to deny your legacy? Look at your pretty pretty Mom and tell me you didn’t get any of her genes." Maxwell didn’t know what to say, and was staring up at Andrew with wide, pretty blue eyes.
"Y-You think I’m pretty?" Maxwell said quietly, and Andrew chuckled.
"The most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. I thought I was meeting a fairy the first time I laid eyes on you." Andrew told him easily, and Maxwell pouted.
"You never gave any indication that you thought that." He complained, and Andrew rubbed his forehead against his, nuzzling him, trying to comfort him.
"I’m sorry. I should have, but I was worried you weren’t going to like that. You were already a little prickly, I didn’t want to ruin it." Maxwell grew silent, unable to deny the truth.
"I...probably would have taken it the wrong way back then." He agreed, and Andrew laughed.
"You’re so sweet, Maxy. But...am I holding up your workday? We took quite a long break for breakfast." Andrew said, and Maxwell groaned.
"Fuck the rest of work, come here. I want to hold you."
