Chapter 222: CCXXII. Forbidden Experiment
Liszt had never expected his first night back at the port to be so explosive, a New Year’s gift on the evening of the 30th, no less.
That afternoon, he had truly appreciated the grandeur of this woman’s career line, which was probably one of the reasons she chose to wear Heavy Armor in battle.
It was already considered marital property, wasn’t it? What belonged to Dreya was his too.
His gaze inevitably moved downward—he couldn’t help but admire how tall and striking she was.
"You try, and see if there’s any feeling."
Meredith spoke evenly, merely with an experimental mindset.
As a metal "T," her dress was androgynous, but that only applied to her clothing; her lovely features were still evident. Her natural charm was captivating despite her lack of makeup and her somewhat listless and icy demeanor.
Without high attractiveness, he wouldn’t have naturally ended up with Goria, let alone lived with her for such a long time.
Even Liszt had never tried this type before. It was too rare.
"It’s not a good idea, Goria will be back soon."
Liszt was polite, noting this girl’s strong personality and the thorn tattoo beneath her eye which added to her dashing appearance.
"It’s okay, it’ll be quick and simple."
Meredith dragged him to the corner of a dark alley, treating him as a tool because he was Dreya’s husband. This was to put an end to the current bizarre love triangle, and whether that triangle could turn into a closed arrow depended on the upcoming events. She only accepted equal relationships; only when things were squared up could they discuss anything else.
He couldn’t refuse!
Liszt was like a puppet on strings, completely losing his mind. It was thrilling, like performing lung care, damned exhilarating to the point of suffocation.
In a blink, there were no people around, only the feeble light scattered from the street lamp in the dark corner. Meredith was extremely calm, without any agitation, urging Liszt to hurry up.
Liszt hesitated for a moment then proceeded—it was time to start!
"How is it now?"
"Are you even a man? Stop dithering, I didn’t say you could touch my face."
Meredith frowned, pulling Liszt’s hand away.
"One step at a time, right? Think about it, since you’ve made up your mind, you still hope it succeeds, right? If we start with the most intense part, it’ll just backfire, and all our efforts will be wasted."
Liszt was considering for both of them. This woman had a hold over him—if the experiment failed, it could be disastrous.
"What you’re saying makes sense."
Meredith also believed they should start with something simple.
"T’s" often wear earrings, and she was no exception. Liszt began by lifting one side of her hair, serving both a magical and physical attack, moving slowly to near her earlobe.
His fingers teasing the soft cartilage and tender flesh, Meredith had no particular reaction, whereas Liszt was already overwhelmed, unable to cope with the intensity.
Various charms augmented it; it was sheer madness.
"Keep going."
"Now?"
His hand had moved to the smooth neck.
"A bit lower."
"Like this?"
"Mm, step a bit closer. It’s too cold, chilly. Don’t be shy; help block the wind for me too."
As he slipped his hand inside, some wind also blew in.
Meredith’s chest felt cold, and Liszt’s hand was icy.
"Am I being too polite?"
Liszt breathed a bit more heavily, unable to control himself anymore, his brain almost blank.
"Of course too polite, hold on for a while, let me find the feeling."
"Mm."
After half a minute in the cold air, his cool hand had warmed up.
"How about now, any reaction yet?"
Liszt sincerely asked the question, seeing Meredith deep in thought, she seemed out of it, pleading that there must be a way.
"There’s nothing I feel."
Meredith spoke the truth, it seemed that only fragrant girls would do.
Liszt would not give up, determined to satisfy her today, he withdrew his hand, it must be too cold here, unfortunately, they couldn’t move to a room inside, as Goria would be back soon, and it wouldn’t look good if others saw them.
"Are you ready, we are going to make the last attempt."
Liszt prepared to use all of his life’s learning.
Meredith also sighed, nodded, telling Liszt to hurry up, or it would get cold again if they waited.
Half an hour later,
Goria had finished escorting Tani back and was looking for Meredith nearby the Black Sail Inn to head back together, the round trip had taken quite some time, she couldn’t possibly wait in the snowy weather, so she returned to the inn.
The front door was closed for the night, so she had to enter through the back alley.
She called out Meredith’s name on the ground floor.
It didn’t take long for her to appear from the inn’s kitchen, her hair slightly disheveled.
But Goria didn’t think much of it, once inside where it was warm, the melting snow did make their hair somewhat wet.
"Are you hungry? Did you sneak and eat something?"
"What are you talking about?"
"Let’s go, upstairs people are playing cards, too noisy, probably will go on till midnight, let’s head back."
"You call the shots, also...about your proposal, let’s give it a shot, I still can’t leave you."
"Really?"
Goria was thrilled, they embraced and then left the Black Sail Inn together.
Due to a certain mini magician being really small, she went into the kitchen to steal some food.
In the cabinet of plates, Lu covered her mouth, witnessing the entire process.
Since Gawain was a respectable person, always mixing in the Great Wetlands which had no prostitutes,
This was Lu’s first time witnessing such a scene, although it didn’t progress to the last step, Liszt completed her last step in another way.
After making sure both women had walked far away, Liszt came out from the kitchen, feeling considerably disappointed, the experiment was not thorough, but it was a breakthrough, Meredith had been handled manually.
He would just wait for the New Year’s gift promised by Dreya.
His first day back at the port had been utterly devoted to serving two people, leaving Liszt quite exhausted.
Taylor had now become aware of his grand heist’s success, sent an underling who couldn’t handle it, so he sent Tani to fetch him for a talk.
Unfortunately, Tani’s feelings for Lao Deng were not as strong as hers for Liszt, she just came to see her ex-boyfriend.
Liszt pondered for a moment, he shouldn’t visit him before the New Year, visiting on the first day of the New Year would be more appropriate.
Currently, the main task was to understand the dynamics of Heaven Port, gauge the sentiments of other pirate gangs on the New Continent, how to deal with the transition crisis, there was no need to contact Skull Club, compared to the muck and dark, Liszt had nothing to say, they had formed a grudge years ago and cost him quite a bit of money.
Since Qi Li, Captain of the Undead Pirates, had invited him to their group’s New Year gathering, he would check it out tomorrow.
It was foreseeable that Black Sail had made too many fierce moves, now having numerous enemies, if he only had the current number of men, they definitely wouldn’t be able to withstand it.
In the reflection of the liquor cabinet glass, Liszt’s face appeared somewhat twisted.
Allies... are the least reliable.
They are allies only when there is meat, otherwise, they would bite back.
Everyone had to become one of his own, seeing a bit of blood, to ensure standing on the same side in times of crisis.
On January 15th, he would see whether the New Continent was a slope or a treasure.
But from the 1st to the 14th, there were plenty of things to be done.
Hened had shown his face, his intent to cause a significant stir was made known, yet his prestige was still insufficient.
He had to be more intimidating than Boss.
Making the rascals on the island also fear him in their dreams.
