Chapter 93: Chapter 088: When you grow up, be my son-in-law

"Tong Airui, you shameless! You’re the one who insisted on getting into my bed!" Yi Luowa grumbled in a low voice.

"Fourth Brother, when can we leave? I want to visit my aunt!" Mi Chenxuan’s voice came through the phone.

"Hanging up." Yi Luowa ended the call angrily before Tong Airui could respond.

Yi Luowa sat for a while. Seeing that Tong Yao hadn’t returned yet, she took a bank card out of her backpack and went to the bar on the third floor. "Miss, I’m paying for everything in Bamboo Hall."

The cashier was slightly stunned. "Miss, Bamboo Hall is Duke Audric’s long-term private room. He has an account here."

"But today, let’s use mine." Yi Luowa placed the card on the counter, clasped her hands together, and smiled sweetly. "Please, Sister!"

The cashier was amused by her adorable manner. "I want to help you too, but if I take your card, the Duchess will get angry."

"Sister, I’ll get angry too!" Yi Luowa pouted and glared at the cashier.

"Who upset you now?" Mi Chenshuo walked over with a smile.

Yi Luowa glanced behind him and asked, puzzled, "How did you get here so fast? Where are the others?"

"Old Five and I were meeting a client nearby, so we got here quickly." Mi Chenshuo walked closer, still smiling. "Tell me, who made you angry?"

Yi Luowa pursed her lips and pointed at the cashier. "Idol, this sister is jealous of my beauty and is deliberately refusing to take my card."

The cashier and Mi Chenshuo both burst into laughter. Even Tong Yao, who had just stepped out of the elevator, couldn’t help but smile.

Yi Luowa puffed up her cheeks and indignantly said to the cashier, "Bad sister, if you don’t take my card, I’ll cry right here!"

"So young, and you’ve already learned to threaten people!" Mi Chenshuo chuckled, taking the card. "Come back to the private room with me, or when Fourth Brother arrives, I’ll have him deal with you!"

"Who’s scared of who?" Yi Luowa muttered, scrunching up her little face.

"He’s your guardian!" Mi Chenshuo glanced at Tong Yao, who was quietly approaching, and said with a laugh.

"Even so, he can’t interfere with my personal life! You guys have helped me and my second uncle out so much. I’m just treating everyone to a meal, that’s all!" Yi Luowa said indignantly.

Mi Chenshuo waved the card in his hand and asked, "Then tell me, how much money is on this card? I’m afraid it might not be enough."

Yi Luowa smiled. "The money on this card is what I won at the Xiawu racing tournament. If you ask Tong Aino, he’ll know how much is there."

Tong Aino, who had just stepped out of another elevator, turned green at her words. He gestured for a waiter and said, "Add more dishes to Bamboo Hall: lobster sashimi, braised abalone pots, stewed bear paws, braised ostrich, steamed giant salamander..."

"Aino!" Tong Yao frowned and shot her son a disapproving look.

Tong Aino grinned while wrapping his arm around his mom’s shoulder. "The card has four million US Dollars on it. You’re upset about me ordering just a little bit of food from her?"

"Letting a young girl treat you to a meal—aren’t you ashamed?" Tong Yao glared at him.

"Of course not!" Tong Aino smirked and snatched the card from Mi Chenshuo’s hand, placing it on the counter. "We’re using this card today!"

"Haha, today’s the first day you’ve actually done something I approve of!" Yi Luowa looked at Tong Aino cheerfully, then turned to the waiter. "Add on a few more dishes: crab roe macaroni, crispy glutinous duck, jade tri-color fish—it has to be made with Australian codfish. Hmm, and one more golden bird’s nest tower..."

Tong Yao could barely contain her exasperation as she looked at the two children clearly trying to outdo each other. "That’s it! No more ordering!"

Yi Luowa smiled, walked over, and gently helped Tong Yao walk away from Tong Aino. "I’ll listen to Auntie."

His arms now empty, Tong Aino’s face darkened as he shouted, "Can you stop taking everything from me?"

"I’ve been by Auntie’s side for over twenty years already. I’m borrowing her for just a little bit—how can you be so upset?" Yi Luowa tilted her head and let out a humph at him as she led Tong Yao into Bamboo Hall.

Pointing at Yi Luowa’s retreating figure, Tong Aino grumbled to Mi Chenshuo in frustration, "Look at her! She hasn’t even married into our family yet and she’s already acting like this."

Mi Chenshuo shook his head helplessly. "She’s still just a kid. Can’t you cut her some slack?"

Tong Aino let out an indignant snort. He was still stewing in frustration—how on earth was he supposed to cut her slack?

"She’s the one your elder brother fancies. You better get along with her!" Mi Chenshuo chuckled and dragged him back into Bamboo Hall.

They had barely sat down when Tong Jiaqi and Yan Zi arrived with a big group in tow.

Duoduo spotted Tong Yao and Yi Luowa immediately and laughed, reaching out for his grandmother. Tong Yao smiled and held him, but as soon as she kissed him, the little guy started wiggling toward Yi Luowa. She quickly took him into her arms.

For a moment, the two locked eyes, big eyes staring into bigger eyes. Then Duoduo burst into giggles, bouncing around happily in Yi Luowa’s arms.

Yi Luowa touched his forehead gently with hers. "Duoduo, I’ve fallen in love with you. What should I do? How about when you grow up, you marry me?"

Monica laughed from the side. "That won’t do. Duoduo can’t marry you."

Yi Luowa pouted and looked at Monica. "Why not?"
