Betrayed By My Mate, Claimed By His Lycan King Uncle
Chapter 61: No One Touches What Is Mine!

Chapter 61: No One Touches What Is Mine!

Sorayah let out a cold scoff but said nothing. Her eyes were fierce and unwavering, her fists clenched tightly at her sides.

Dimitri glanced at her, then back at the guards.

"Oh, I see," he said slowly, a bitter laugh escaping his lips. "Adam is dead. That’s quite... unexpected, considering how strong he was."

His voice shifted, quieter now, but lethal in its calmness.

"What, exactly, transpired here that led to his death? That is what I want to know."

Silence.

A heavy, suffocating kind of silence that stretched on for what felt like an eternity.

The werewolf guards remained bowed, their foreheads pressed into the dirt, not daring to meet Dimitri’s piercing gaze. How could they tell him the truth? That’s more like asking for death.

Dimitri’s voice finally shattered the stillness like a stone thrown at a glass house. "Do I need to repeat myself before I get an answer?" he asked, his tone quiet but laced with deadly intent.

Mira, her body visibly tense and eyes wide with a mix of fear and fury, burst out, unable to contain herself. "Should you even be asking that? Just end this lowlife already!" she spat, pointing a trembling finger at Sorayah. "What does it matter what transpired here? What matters is that she killed Adam and took me hostage! If you hadn’t shown up when you did, only the gods know what this bitch would have done to me!"

Dimitri didn’t even glance her way. His eyes remained locked on the guards before him, his voice slicing through the air like ice.

"I asked you a question," he said coldly. "Or are you all deaf now?"

One of the guards trembled as he dared to speak. "This maid was assigned to the Valley of the Dead to extract organs... but she refused. She was to be punished this morning, but instead... she killed the inspector."

Dimitri’s gaze darkened. "And what kind of punishment was it meant to be? The old one... or something new?"

The guard swallowed hard, his voice nearly cracking. "Forgive us, Your Highness, but the punishment had to be carried out..."

His sentence was cut short in a flash of silver. Dimitri’s dagger flew through the air, embedding itself deep into the guard’s throat. The man collapsed with a wet thud, blood gushing out in hot spurts, painting the ground red.

Gasps echoed all around. Mira stumbled back in shock, her eyes wide with horror. The other guards recoiled, their faces drained of color.

Dimitri then stepped forward, his voice like thunder now. "The punishment for female slaves who refuse to work in the Valley of the Dead has always been the same. And yet... I find her naked in front of all of you. That alone tells me everything I need to know."

He turned his blazing gaze toward the remaining guards, who were now visibly shaking. "You all dared to touch what belongs to me?" he growled, his voice low and furious. "You wanted to taste what has already been claimed? You must be truly tired of living."

"Forgive us, Your Highness!" the guards cried in unison, trembling as they pressed their faces into the dirt.

"Stand," Dimitri ordered sharply.

They scrambled to their feet as they knew Dimitri valued his time.

"Now," he said, his voice eerily calm, "remove your clothes."

Confusion flickered in their eyes, but they didn’t dare hesitate. One by one, the guards stripped until they stood completely bare under the sun, their bodies trembling not from the cold but from fear.

Mira, her face flushed with both anger and disbelief, stepped forward. "What are you doing, Dimitri? Yes, they were wrong, but they were only enforcing the rules! Surely, you’re not going to punish them like this?"

Dimitri didn’t even spare her a glance. His expression was blank, unreadable, his attention fully on the naked guards before him.

"No one touches what is mine," he said, his voice quiet and deliberate. "I despise it when others lay hands on my property. Have my words as your general grown so weak that you dare forget them?"

His eyes flicked down to their groins. "Well then... let this serve as a reminder."

In a blur of movement, faster than any of them could react, Dimitri’s sword flashed. One by one, he slashed downward, severing the manhood of each guard with a precision that was both horrifying and awe-inspiring.

Agonized screams ripped through the air. Blood sprayed across the earth. The guards collapsed, clutching the places where their pride had once been.

Even Sorayah and Mira were frozen in shock, their eyes wide, lips parted in silent disbelief. No matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t form words but only stare at the devastation before them.

Dimitri wiped his blade clean with a pristine white silk handkerchief, completely unfazed. His voice was calm as he sheathed his dagger.

"Your manhood will grow back... eventually," he said coldly. "But you’ll never again be able to pleasure a woman. Whenever you look at what remains, remember the crime that cost you everything."

"Yes, Your Highness!" the guards chanted through gritted teeth, their voices trembling as much as their broken bodies. They collapsed forward once more, blood mixing with the dirt beneath them.

Dimitri finally turned to Mira, who swallowed hard as his gaze landed on her.

"Are you going to purnish me too? I was aware that your guards were going to have sex with your slave. Will you kill me too?" She asked as she let out a smirk. "I really can’t believe this."

"Return to the palace. I’ll deal with you later," Dimitri said curtly, then turned toward Sorayah.

Her breath caught in her throat as Dimitri approached. Before she could move or speak, he lifted her off the ground with one arm as though she weighed nothing and set her gently atop his horse. With the same swift grace, he mounted behind her and, without a single word more, kicked the beast into motion.

Liam followed silently, riding after them, leaving behind the broken, bleeding remnants of disobedience.

"Where are you taking me?" Sorayah asked the moment she noticed Dimitri took another path instead of the path that leads to the mansion.

"You’ll find out soon." Dimitri replied, his warm breath brushing over her ear.
