Chapter 86: Clumsy Shawn

Shawn frowned at Ken’s actions. What’s with him? He sighed and walked over to look at Ken who hadn’t stood up from the fall and his eyes were bulging.

Are you alright?" Shawn asked.

Who are you?" Ken asked breathlessly and hurried to pick himself from the ground. He was still in shock but knew his eyes weren’t fooling him.

What kind of question is that?!" Shawn was now confused.

How ..how...come...you...your....." Ken stammered to the point that he couldn’t get to saya word.

Not long, Ash and Scott also returned to home to check on Sydney. Right behind them was Caden who also walked in. They saw the weird behaviour of Ken from the home entrance and couldn’t help but wonder. The trio walked into the kitchen to learn what was going on.

They looked between Ken then at Shawn then....wait?! Their eyes all shot back at Shawn in disbelief.

Shawn felt a chill down his spine. Okay...what had he done?! What’s with the expressions? He wanted to ask but dared not to.

Your eyes!" Ash let out a laugh.

Shawn’s usual white eyes weren’t white anymore. They were clear and bright full of life and emotions! Shawn felt completely different!

But how? How was his sight seemingly clear when he hadn’t visited a doctor. That was also impossible since he was born blind.

Shawn blinked his eyes and his hands subconsciously went to touch them. Seeing ten weird looking things come into his line of vision, Shawn was shocked shitless that he jumped back in shock knocking over the dish with the vegetables and falling on his butt.

He looked around and saw weird structure and stumbled around like a crazy beast breaking chaos in the kitchen. What was he seeing?!!

The four person who were shocked by Shawn’s clean eyes were now stupified by his actions. What’s wrong with this guy?!

The sound of commotion could be heard all over the house. Sydney rose from her he’d and intended to go over and see what was happening but was stopped by Titan. "Where are you going?" he asked with a soft hiss.

There’s a commotion in the house. I should go see what’s going on." She said like it was the most normal thing to do.

Ken’s cooking!" Titan dismissed the matter and used his tail to push her back in bed completely disregarding the noise downstairs.

I want to go see." Sydney insisted and refused to lay back in bed. Titan sighed and stood up from the carpeted floor. He reached for Sydney and carried her to go check what the heck was going on.

By the time they go to the staircase, they were surprised to see Shawn jumping around like a headless chicken.

Ash and group were watching him with amusement but avoiding his frenzied jumps since everything sent him jumping like a startled cat with his fangs and claws bared.

When Sydney left the room, she had been expecting a fight but was frozen seeing the usually calm Shawn act this way.

What was going on?!

Shawn after jumping around for a long time grew dizzy and fell to the ground. What the hell was wrong with him!!!!!!?????????

Titan only moved to the sitting room after Shawn had calmed down. His golden eyes swept across the house and took in its messy appearance thanks to a certain wolf. He expected such acts from Ken.... one really should expect alot from beasts.

Sydney squirmed and got out of Titan’s arms to go to Shawn. She didn’t know what exactly was happening but she knew Shawn wasn’t the type to act like this.

Shawn on the other hand finally relaxed after the crazy episode. Tears filled his eyes and slowly, they dropped down on his fingers....and...he .....he could see! He could see it all! He gasped in disbelief and gently wriggled his fingers that were in the floor helping him keep his balance. He could hear his heart thunder from his ears and a ringing sound kept ringing. His mind had blocked out all forms of sound.

Shawn was now in his own world.

Having been used to relying on his other senses all his life, it felt foreign for him when he could finally make out the images of the things around him. He trembled and didn’t know which sense to focus on. He didn’t know this feeling and he started to become unstable.

With his vision not blocked, he felt his ears numb at anyone’s call to him in concern.

Sydney has been frozen when she saw Shawn lift his hands and observed them at eye level. Not only that, even his usually white were were a blinding colour of blue and yellow for each eye respectively.

This was the most beautiful pair of eyes Sydney had ever since in life. She gasped. This felt unrealistic.

All of a sudden, Shawn went into another frenzy that startled Titan who snatched her away immediately. "Stop ...stop.....don’t call me!!!" he yelled frantically.The sounds in his ears didn’t stop a single bit. They only seemed to grow more and more.

...wn...sha....Shaw...hawn. In his frenzied episode, he heard a sweet voice call out to him. This would was different from the one’s before and he stopped for a second to focuse on that voice. It got clearer.

"Shawn?!!" The sweet worried voice reached him and he lifted his eyes to the only person who could help him. He knew who this voice belonged to and he couldn’t wait to get into her arms for comfort. He froze.

Where was he? who was he? What was he?

Before his eyes were green crest fallen gentle green eyes searching his own. Shawn didn’t dare to breathe.

Who is this female? Why was she looking at him? He wanted to ask but his mouth only hung open and not a word came out. There was something stuck in his throat.

"Shawn... what’s wrong with you? Does any place hurt? Are you uncomfortable?" Sydney asked with concern.

Scott didn’t even know what to say. This guy didn’t have any hope to ever see but one morning and bam! He has his vision back!

"Who are you?" Shawn finally found his voice and asked the female before him.

The room fell into dead silence and Sydney who had been worried sick froze, cracked and shattered into tiny winy pieces before the wind carried her away. What was she living for? Her husband couldn’t recognise her!!!

Ken couldn’t help but slap the back of Shawn’s head.

Scott rolled his eyes and went to the kitchen He was hungry!

Sydney sat in one of the single seater in the sitting room and looked at Shawn who hadn’t taken his eyes off her for thirty minutes now! Holes had been drilled into her body by his intense gaze. His face was hot as well...like a ripe tomato! Was this Sydney? His female?! Was she always this pretty?

Sydney felt that he was overreacting but only them men in the house didn’t think Shawn was overreacting, okay to some point it was the case but for any of them, the first time they saw her, they had questioned their existence a trillion times and more to the point that even till this day, they couldn’t get enough of her that they had to stare at her throughout the night.

"Sydney!" Scott’s called rung out from the kitchen. "Come eat." he said.

"Coming!" Sydney replied and stood up to go eat. Shawn stood up along but fell to the ground in a puddle. His eyes weren’t used to the sensation and he’d fall everytime he stood up.

Sydney who wasn’t feeling emotional anymore couldn’t help bursting out in laughter. Shawn was being exceptionally cute.

"I told you he is stupid!" Ken couldn’t help chimming in

Shawn sent Ken a glare and picked himself up despite the wavy of dizziness. He almost fell another time but Sydney hurried to support him. She pushed him back in his seat and looked at Titan.

He handed her a clean handkerchief which she tied around Shawn’s eyes. His ears twitched happily and funny enough, once his vision was blocked, he wasn’t clumsy anymore. He perfectly had his balance back.

When they made their way into the kitchen, there were only two servings. One for Scott and one for Sydney.

Ken’s ear twitched. Who was preaching about family bonds and stuff?! Were we even his family in the first place?!

Ash didn’t mind and went to seat besides Sydney whose eyes seemed stuck on Shawn. "You like it that much?" Ash asked.

"Mm..his eyes are so beautiful!!" Sydney said subconsciously but soon snapped back amd almost bit off her tongue. Her chest felt stuffed with jealousy!

"Are you doing this on purpose?" She couldn’t help asking but Ash kept a straight face. Since she regained consciousness, she had been bombarded with emotions.

At first she thought she had gone crazy from all the sex but later learnt that it was these guys emotions. It could be learnt to control over time. But why did if feel like it was deliberate?

Ash shook his head in denial and took the spoon from her hands and helped her to her meal in silence. ’Just don’t look at other men like you want to mate with them so bad!’ Ash thought to himself. She was already eari g but still had a hungry look in her eyes. It was like Shawn was a snack!
