Chapter 191: GET THE FUCK OFF MY MATE.

Days went by full of various events but the most tiring one was the horde of beastmen passionately pursuing Sydney.

Gifts were sent to her home day in day out and fights broke out among her pursuers. That was a natural occurance among beastmen but what was most puzzling was the fact that a few older females also came to find Sydney to build better relations with her so that she could take in their sons as her mates.

It was chaotic!!!

Ray and company could only do their best to beat off those that pestered them when they went out to hunt and within these days, Ray had run into his brothers a number of times but because he kept walking around with a cloak, they missed him.

It was after lunch that Sydney chose to go out for a walk to fully digest her meal. She no longer covered her face since many had already seen her, though they couldn’t grow used to her beauty and enchanting charms, they didn’t crowd around her thanks to her threat.

Hence, everyone wanted to he on their best, maybe they could attract her attention to them.

Ray accompanied her and walked over to a small waterfall within the city walls. This spot was used by many females who went out to wash or play. As for the males, they had to stand at a distance and only protect their females so her going there was considered safe.

By the time she got to the waterfall, a considerable number of females were already there soaking in the cool water. As they were in the peak of the dry season, the heat inside the houses was unbearable and most females would he seen either at this waterfall or with their mates up in the trees.

I’ll go soak for a bit." Sydney said to Ray. He nodded and let her go before he found a spot next to a tree and sat himself down.

Sydney found a few made friends and joined in the soaking talking about this and that and laughing.

Right..you promised to teach us how to swim!!" One of the females said reminding Sydney.

When she first demonstrated her swimming skills, she had scared a great deal of females into screaming their lungs out thinking that she had drowned. That day was extremely eventful as the whole waterfall crowded with beastmen of all sizes. This small water source wasn’t a river but a small lake that was deep by a few hundred meters down deep. The females kept on the shallow part of the small lake.

Pulling off this bravado, all those males that wanted to pursue Sydney tried to swim but they weren’t mermen nor were they adapt to water. This failed their chance to play hero save the beauty.

What was most amusing was that even her mates who weren’t the little bit flustered were completely forgotten. If they didn’t know of her silly stunts, they’d also be hopping around like their tails were on fire.

It was only after ten minutes that Sydney swam back to the surface that many were shocked silly but with little to nothing to say.

She hadn’t died!!! She actually hadn’t died!!!!

It was only after she told them that it was possible for land beastmen to also learn how to swim that many calmed down. It was then that she promised to teach those females how to swim.

"Right...I had promised." Sydney said with a laugh.

Okay...then we can begin. Please find a comfortable place and kneel, male sure your hands are perfectly placed on the ground under water, that way, you can keep your balance." She begun to instruct them step by step. She didn’t rush them since this was something considered new to them. She let them hold their breathes and deep their nose and mouth into the water to determine how long they could catch their breathes.

A second, two, ten..the females jumped out of the water one after the other after they couldn’t hold on. She told them to keep practising.

Roar!!!!!

It was at this moment that a commotion broke out and sounds of fighting reached her. She looked off into the distance but since a good number of beastmen had gathered around, sje couldn’t see which parties were involved in the fight. All the other females stopped practising and turned their attention to where the males were fighting from.

Sigh... those beasts just don’t know when to stop!!"

I get a headache having to deal with mine who love fighting!!!"

Me too....I actually feel pity for them.." another added.

Why don’t we go see who are fighting?" One suggested and all the females exchanged looks. Immediately they all got out of the water.

While they might not want to watch males fight, what if it was their male that was in trouble? They could only go over and see.

Sydney felt her heart speed up and she also got out of the water to go check the fight out.

When the other males saw the females coming over, they immediately gave way and Sydney who was in rjw forefront frowned.

Ray!!!!!

At this point, a lion and man were entangled in a fierce fight...no, it was more of the lion was doing it’s best to kill the man and the man currently had a number of claw marks all over his upper body with blood dripping from him.

Ray!!!" Sydney called out and dashed into the fight.

Sydney no!!!!" A female cried out and others followed with shreiks but Sydney didn’t listen.

The other males were also caught off guard and not one manageed to step forward to stop her on time.

Ray had been tackled to the ground and the lion beastman atop of him wa currently snarling and growling at him, what he was saying to him, only lion beastmen could understand.

Sydney folded her hand into a fist as she charged forward roaring at the lion beastman. "GET THE FUCK OFF MY MATE!!!"

Peng!!!!

The punch landed and the lion beastman was punched off falling a few meters, knocking into the wall of beastmen at the sight.

Silence.

Dead silence...

The whole place was only filled with deep breathes and shocked expressions from both beastmen and females.

Splat!!!

The lion beastman spat out a tooth and immediately shifted back into his human form in utter disbelief. It wasn’t that he hadn’t seen Sydney, he had ignored her under his rage. Seeing Ray, he only had one goal and that was to finish him off before his father and the others noticed he was still alive!!!

He had after all told them that he had personally killed him and even if he still had a few breathes, he’d not be capable of surviving. This made him complacent and ignore Sydney only to get punched and loose a tooth too!!!!

Even in his old days, he’d remember this moment.

The whole of Storm city would recall this legendary moment because it was known that Females DON’T fight!!!!

But just now, the beautiful, sweet and fragile little female actually sent a lion beastman flying with a punch?!!! What logic was that?!!

I didn’t see wrongly right?"..a beastman asked rubbing his eyes hard that they turned red.

How’s that possible?!!!" Another cried out holdong his head in disbelief.

Sydney didn’t bother with the shocked crowd. She immediately crouched next to Ray her eyes looking at him with pain. Are you alright?" She asked gasping. She hadn’t taken a closer look but these gushes were deep, some, she could even see the bones. It must Hurt atlot right?!!" Tears begun to blurr her vision. Ray was in a terrible state!!!

Ash!!!" She whispered....

Sydney!!!"" Ken Ash and the rest rushed forward. Ken, Caden, Ash and Shawn had felt Sydney drawing in their power through the mate bond. They had immediately dropped what they were doing racinf here as soon as possible.

As Ash neared, he heard call and he actually vanished from his place.

In a blink of an eye, he was ad Sydney’s side!!!

Summon!!!

She had actually managed to summon him!!!!

Ken and the rest were shocked to see Ash disappear all of a sudden while those who were at the scene were given another shock seeing a beastman appear out of thin air before them.

Just what the hell was going on???

Ash blinked furiously. What the heck just happened now?!!!!

But putting his shock aside, seeing Ray’s state, he was astonished.

Sydney was in tears. When she sensed someone next to her, she turned her tear stained face only to find Ash. . He’s hurt!!! He’s bleeding alot!!!" She cried.

Ash hurried over to Ray’s side and saw the state he was in. Just in time, the others also arrived and squeezed their way through the crowd and made their way into the space.

Ray!!!" Their gazes first fell on Ray.

Sniffling, Sydney stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes. You guys keep an eye on him, I have some unfinished business." She said icily standing up to face the lion beastman her eyes glaring at him menacingly.

You!!!" She hollered. You actually hit my male? Did you first check whose family you were messing with?!" She moved forward step after step.

"You forgot this." Ken placed a stone blade in her hands.

The lion beastman was tenth among Ray’s brothers. His eyes locked with Sydney’s seeing the brimming killing intent in them. Female, that beast is my brother. Me beating him up a little is normal, why should you intervene." He asked defiantly yet at the same time stepping back unconsciously.

Do you seek my permission?" Sydney asked the grip on her stone blade tightening.

I have no intention of fighting with you...even if you attack." He said seeing her resolute gaze.

Then I’ll thank you for letting me kill you. As a lesson, never in your next life think of touching what’s mine!" She said her Red hair blaring against the hot breeze like a she demon, she charged forward viciously. The lion beastman dodged.

He was a Hunter after all. Although he did not really want to fight Sydney, he wouldn’t put his neck up for slaughter

Sydney..we need to stop Ray’s bleeding or else he’ll run out of blood." Ash said urgently. All the other wounds were not alarming but the gush cut across his rib cage was bleeding profusely.
