Ah?" Big Bear felt his heart shake. Leave this place and go out there? He had never thought about it before and even now, he was only hopefully waiting to live his last days peacefully in this place.

You can think about it. I’m still here for a few more days. I’ll be heading out to sea to seek out a good friend of mine then return and collect my things. At that time, I hope you would have made up your mind." Kale said with a smile and stood up from where he sat. No matter how much liquor he drank, it was useless against him and he never got drank. He used to but after her ’death’, he never got drank again.

Sydney finally managed to calm her emotions and the emotions they brought along.

At this point in time, she sat in the stone house with her ’children’ each observing the other.

It was just like yesterday she dropped into this world and boom! Now she had children! And they were big children! Here with her were Franklin, Fred, Frost and Lilly. The eldest batch and the youngest and only daughter.

It was bizarre truly bizarre but she couldn’t deny it! They were her children because she had a memory of giving birth to each and everyone of them.

Mom..." Lilly called out carefully. They had managed to have a tear filled reunion and each of their wounded hearts had been consoled with the tears that fell.

Now came the extremely awkward moment. How many years had it been?

Franklin and his brothers had deep blushes etched on their faces and they didn’t go away. Lilly on the other hand was extremely bashful as she nestled herself in Sydney’s arms. She was seated on her lap.

Ah..." Sydney felt extremely awkward. How are you?" She greeted the boys. They all looked up to sneak a look at her before lowering their head with the tips of their ears red.

Outside the stone house, the men were seated around a fire in silence. At it crackled and left shadows upon their faces, Caden, Ken and Ash’s parents were pale in the face.

After the emotional break down from Lilly and how the three boys had deep resemblance to not only Ash and Sydney. Ray decided to explain this phenomena to the new family members which left Caden and Ken with pale and disbelieving looks.

Ken looked at Enzo, Greg and Kevin and these three men also looked at him each shrugging their shoulders at him. "How’s that possible?" Ken asked with a tremble.

It’s possible. And that’s the truth." Ray replied. His gaze had been locked on both Ken and Caden, these two were the only ones that he worried about. This could deal a huge mental blow on them.

Caden also stared blankly for a while before he stood up from the bonfire. He shifted into his beast form and shot out into the skies without another word.

Excuse me." Ken also stood up and shifted into his beastform before dashing off.

This isn’t good." Greg said with concern as he watched the two youngsters run off.

We can do nothing. We only have to wait for Sydney to settle her mind and accept all this. When that happens, those two will surely finally come to terms with it." Enzo said with a sigh and turned to Ash. Do you know where Kale might be?" He asked.

I have no idea." Ash shook his head.

Almost all of us are here. But the children are also missing. I wonder if Lilly and the others know where they are."

Lilly surely knows." Ray was sure of that. He had lost these children in that cave that night but they found him and they kept coming to find him whenever they wanted and disappeared every time they wanted.

I’m worried though." keV spoke drawing all the others attention. What if she doesn’t want to acknowledge us?" He asked. Greg and Enzo’s hearts skipped a beat.

Is that important?" Ray asked feeling these guys were worrying over nothing. At least for him, he had long grown accustomed to the fact that he can’t mate with her again. But his main desire was the keep by her side and that was what he got. She didn’t push him away and he was content in the end.

keV pursed his lips. One thing after the other, Sydney was alive as per Lilly’s promise but this Sydney was different yet the same. She didn’t have their marks on her body and only Ash and Shawn were lucky enough to mate with her a second time because they had their beasts with them and could leave a mate mark on her. Whereas for them, not only did they not have their beasts, the possibility of getting together with her was slim almost non existent.

The night drifted off just like that and soon the sun kissed the skies as it rose with glory

In the stone house, Sydney had slept with Lilly tight in her embrace while Franklin and his other brothers lay beside the nest in their beast forms

Naturally they were already awake but didn’t want to leave their mother’s side. The previous night, they had a heartfelt talk and finally bonded once more, now they were no lingr the fierce youngsters but were cubs that were back in their mama’s embrace bringing back an ambiance from how many years ago?

A knock on the stone door made Frost growl as his eyes glinted looking at the door. And behold was their father.

Frost scoffed and turned away completely ignoring Ash.

Ash felt his lips twitch to death. These boys had really grown some balls huh?!

Come out." His voice was low not to wake Sydney up but chilled over enough to jolt the three boys from where they lay.

With no choice, the three boys walked out. Who asked them to be his sons? Who asked him to be more powerful than them?! Without Lilly, they couldn’t bully him to their hearts content.

Lin immediately shifted into his human form. A juvenile young man with black hair with its tips coated with a deep brown shade and a pair of green eyes stood before Ash. He was the eldest.

You’ve grown." Ash praised.

I had to." Lin answered monotonously. His words directed to a point that had Ash’s fluffy ears twitch. It was like Lin meant that he had no choice but to grow up anyway!

Ash took a deep breathe and looked at Fred and Frost. The two refused to meet his eyes.

I called you out to ask. Where are your other brothers?" He asked. Greg and Kevin were worried about their children.

Running errands." Lin answered plainly.

Where? The family is reuniting and we need everyone to be present." Greg stepped forward.

They are busy and can’t come now. If you want them here, ask Lilly but I’m sure she’ll not agree. After all there’s alot at hand right now and we can’t let things fall out of hand." Lin answered.

What are you guys planning?" Enzo was curious. These children were beyond smart to the point that it was scary.

You don’t have to know." Lin was cold. These men had failed to protect their mother, there’s no way they’d involve them in their plans lest they crumble.

We are your elders Frank!" Enzo was displeased.

But that does not mean you have to know our plans." Lilly’s cold voice reached the men and they all turned to look at her.

Lilly..." Enzo, her biological father wanted to reprimand her.

She shot him a look and his words stick in his throat. Brother Lin is right. What we plan is not for you to know. We won’t intervene with your plans either. However this is my forewarning to you all, spend as much time with mother as possible because once me and all my brothers gather, that’ll be the last time you’ll see her."

LILLY!!" Not only Ash, Ray and the others couldn’t help but bellow out their chest heaving dangerously. This child was crossing all limits!

What? Angry?" Lilly laughed. My mommy is mine and my brothers this time round. You had your chance but what did you do with it? You lost it! Took it for granted! I won’t let you ruin this last chance available for me amd my brothers." Lilly was stern and didn’t waver under pressure.

Are you trying to make an enemy of us?" Enzo asked.

What do you think?" Lilly asked with a smirk. Of course she was. So what about it?!

You don’t want to do this!!!" Ray had his fists clenched.

Oh...and how do you know? What link do you have with mother for you to stick by her side? On the other hand, we are her children...can you beat that?" Lilly taunted them mercilessly.

You are really cruel!" Kevin said with a deep frown.

Like you gave us a choice." Lilly retorted back
