Chapter 143: Taken to Prison.

At the small mountain hut, the man who resided there gathered all his luggage neatly. He went in and out of the small hut bringing out his things and by the time it was evening, a small mountain of things had accumulated.

However, his face didn’t seem the slightest bit worried about the huge luggage he had with him, on the other hand, he was pleased. " I’ve gathered enough...she should like all these!" He smiled and pulled out his wheel cart that he had spent years manufacturing to reach this point of perfection.

He loaded on each and everything onto the cart. Luckily, the weight was just right!

This is something he had been practicing over years, month in month out as he rehearsaled how he’d get to leave this small mountain to go find her.

He hadn’t such confidence in the last but now he was certain!

After he was done loading his luggage, she didn’t mind the fact that night had fallen. He caught the ropes he had attached to the cart and strapped them in a criss cross manner securing the knot at the back.

With that, Kale set off on the journey to find her!

She’d be happy to see him again! He couldn’t wait!

Lilly sat on Frost’s back and looked at the dead bodies of the beastmen who tried to cross the poisonous fog in the valley.

How about we direct them to use the tunnel in the mountain?" Frost was somewhat soft hearted and he didn’t like lives being wasted!

"I’m afraid those spirit beasts won’t allow such a huge number of beasts to use their territory." Lin shook his head disapprovingly.

Aren’t you friends with their little prince?" Lilly asked.

You can’t consider us friends!" Lin frowned.

Lilly looked over to the mountain top and with her eye sight, she could see as far she wanted to. "If it’s not the poison that’s going to kill them, then the cold is going to take lives of the young and weak! We ought to do something about it."

FINE!!!" Lin had no choice but to go and see what he could do.

The three brothers and sister set off to find a tunnel entrance they could use to access those spirit beasts.

Inside the mountain tunnel, Kevin and the others had been surrounded.

The spirit beasts let out cries that were hard to distinguish. A mixture of howls, growls, grunts and all forms! That aside, these beasts seemed to be kind of integrated? For example, the winged lion that had led the warriors to capture them!

"Intruders! What are you doing in our territory! Be warned, speak the truth only lest your receive a heavier punishment!" The winged lion cautioned them and Ash’s father who planned on forging webs of lies shit his mouth up!

We are only going through amd have no other intentions. You also know of the poisonous fogs in the valley, the mountains are also freezing cold. Please let us through." Ash’s mother pleaded seeing that her mate had swallowed down all his lies. At least he knew how to preserve life!

Hmph! Not many know of this tunnel! How come you know about it?" The winged lion wasn’t as fierce seeing it was the female who had spoken.

Ash’s father’s lip twitched! What’s with speaking in a soft voice!? Is he trying to snatch his female from him? In a trillion years!

Kevin, Enzo and Greg felt a calming sensation envelope them as they walked further and further into the cave. Far more form the eye catching crystalline patterns, the feelings in them made them feel more alive! More complete!

They walked for around going through mazes of paths for a few hours before they exited the ice tunnels into a whole new world!

The sight before them was far more beautiful than their own world! Rainbows were scattered all over the sky Birds they had never seen before flew over peacefully decorating the sky in a fantasy like aura!

The vegetation was indescribable, the sky was a dazzling blue, the blue water pools that were scattered all over were incredibly beautiful!

Talk about the breeze! This breeze was a special breeze, like the sky mountain crystals that beastmen used for various reasons, the air around here was full of energy that could aide in ranking!

The animals, big and small all were syncing in harmony with eachother. There was no hard feelings amidst them!

Their mouths fell open!

"What place is this!?" Ash’s mother couldn’t help asking. She had lived long, long enough to claim she knew fifty percent about the beast world and nothing new would faze her but this place!!!! She didn’t know what to say!

"This is the spirit beast territory on this continent!" The winged lion only told them this and didn’t speak anymore.

With that simple answer, he let their minds wander off and come up with all forms of explanations as to why this sort of place existed in the first place.

As they stood there still dazed and basking in this new world and it’s euphoria, another group was escorted over through another entrance tunnel. Three young males and a little female walking at the forefront with guards following after respectfully.

The two groups locked gazes and froze for a moment all with differing reasons to say the least!

Emotions swirled in the air as their minds processed this sudden and unplanned meeting.

The sounds of hearts wildly thumping could be heard vividly as the air stilled only for a short while before Enzo brown it.

His eyes watered looking at the small girl. His throat chocked with emotions as he tries to get those words out but failed miserably.

"Lilly!?" He called carefully. The last time he saw her was when she was four years old, he recalls how her small body did things beyond his knowledge and asked them to sacrifice their beasts if they wanted Sydney to return. From that day onwards, she refused to follow him and he had to go on wandering around to look for a purpose as he waited!

How many years was it already!? A hundred? More than a hundred?! Why was she still so small!? His thoughts drifted from longing to worry, fear and concern! Had something happened to her!?

"Father." Lilly greeted her father after recovering from the shock of running into him again. He looked haggard!

Greg and Kev also looked at Lilly with complicated expressions. "How are you?" Ken asked softly.

"I have been well thank you. Hope you also have been doing okay." Lilly replied and turned to look at the guards that had brought them in.

Ash’s sons were gladly ignored by their step fathers.

"Wait!!!" Ash’s father stopped them from leaving just yet! "Wait...you...how...when...." He pointed at the three panther brothers. To be precise, it was Franklin who was the exact copy of Ash. "How...how are you related to Ash?!" He asked eyes wide in horror! If he was not in his mind, he would have thought it was Ash in flesh!

Children this old! How many years had they been outside playing?! To actually have such old children!!

His words also created another wave towards Greg, Enzo and Kevin. "Wait...you know Ash!?" Kev had an incredulous look on his face as he looked at the couple.

"Of course! He’s our boy we were talking about....hold up! How do you know Ash!?" Ash’s father yelled not holding the image of an elder at all!

"Can somebody explain to me what’s going on!?" Ash’s mother asked feeling this was a little too hard to add up!

"I’m afraid that’ll have to wait. These five are prisoners." The winged lion spoke and pointed at Ash’s parents and the three.

"How so!?" Ash’s father wasn’t having it! He was already a grand papa!!!? He needed explanations... Explanations, I tell you!

"These are our esteemed guests!" The guard who was escorting Lilly and her brothers replied successfully shutting up Ash’s father.

The difference in treatment! Sigh.....it was like heaven and hell! Day and night! Fire and water! Man and woman! Sigh!!!

Lilly and her brothers were led away to meet the current Spirit Beast Lord while The couple and their entourage were taken to Prison!
