Sydney sat at her patiently waiting for her husbands to return as the two lion brothers kept her company. Her mind couldn’t help running back got he small group that was at her home the previous night and she kept wondering if they were doing fine.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on her small gate.

Eldest rose to his full height and ran to the door before going to check out who was bothering their Sydney. Seeing who it was, Eldest ran back inside and dragged Sydney out to get see the person.

Sia stood at the gate with three other females and Sydney was familiar with all of them. She hurried over and opened the small gate. Guys ..hurry up in!" She invited them into her home with a smile.

We really shouldn’t go in!" Sia said fearfully! This was the city lord’s house and it held powerful beasts, would it be okay for pesky females like them to enter as they wished.

No need to worry! You guys have never come to visit me at my home. Come on in." Sydney urged them seeing how they were hesitating.

It wasn’t long before the group was inside and Sydney ran to the kitchen to get something for her guests.

Sia and the others looked at the humagous house with their jaws dropping, the inside of the house was more majestic and beautiful than the outside, alot of furniture was spread around the house and despite the strong scent of strong beasts, it did not feel scary but rather homely.

After Sydney warmed up the foods that her mates had prepared before hand, she carried a wide tray over before placing it on the table then ran back to collect more. Sia and the three femsels begun to drool just looking at the juicy golden brown meat before them! It looked tasty!

Sydney rushed back with a smile and set some drinks before them. "It’s rare for you guys to drop by! Please help yourselves to some food. we can talk later on." She said and Sia who was pregnant didn’t stand in ceremony. The others also followed her lead and the tense atmosphere slowly fell as food accompanied them.

Your home is so big!" The fox Female named Bella praised unable to get the grandeur of this paper out of her mind as she kept eating while looking around.

It’s really pretty! I have to learn from you! I’ll get my mates to build something similar." Another female, Daniela also chripped in.

This place is big enough for cubs to run around like crazy brats. If my home was like this, I’d finally have a leash on those cubs!" The other female who was another sighed. She had a tough time raising highly energetic cubs.

Sydney laughed hearing their laments and complaints. "Right...did something happen?" Sydney asked curiously.

We only came to ask you if the rumours going around the city are true!" Daniela out aside stuffing her stomach back to Sydney.

What rumours?" Sydney didn’t think it was about that beast migration.

Hearing what Sia said, Sydney didn’t know what to say. It was both laughable and sad. " It’s true regarding that matter of other beasts migrating but I haven’t had any response from my mates regarding letting them settle in our city! Also, I had no idea that some other beast clans have begun migrating to join the city."

The situation outside must be really tough!" Sia said worriedly. She was only having her first pair of cubs, just thinking of troubles arriving at such a delicate time made her feel a little bit restless.

We should acknowledge more males to ensure the safety of the family and abundance of resources." Bella suddenly said and Sydney looked over to her.

It’s was indeed a great idea as female’s could only rely on their mates at a time like this and the more mates, the more chances of survival. However, on her side, she wasn’t one to just drag in more mate’s for herself, there was a fact that she already had two lord beasts but there was also the possibility of the family balance falling.

Parrick explained the situation to me and I relayed the message to my mates. Let’s not be haste and just ensure that there’s enought food supplies at home." Sydney said and the four females nodded in understanding.

As they fell into silence, chaos broke out from the outside and the five females ran out to see what was going on. Sydney didn’t forget to support Sia and help her out. Once they stepped out of the house, they looked up to the sky to see a huge number of beasts covering the city sky.

Wow! So many winged beastmen!" Bella exclaimed.

Yeah so many! What are they doing?" Sia asked as worry enveloped her.

From a distance, Sydney sensed that her mates were running back home and she finally caught them among the sea of beasts that had left their homes to come see what was going on.

Caden ignored Sydney’s visitors and rushed to her side to see if she was alright!. He cupped her small face and turned her over and about. "Did their arrival give you a scare? He asked as he glared hard at the flock of beastmen hovering the sky.

No! I was just wondering why they suddenly flew all over!" She shook her head and looked up to the skies once more.

We were still in a meeting with the others when father received a message from our clansmen about the movement of most bird clans in our territory. Their homes are majorly at the sides of the continent and they were the first ones to notice this movement. Being apart and dispersed didn’t warrant us safely and so, they requested to come and live in the city together with us. We at the moment have no idea about the power of the other migrating beasts and we need to protect our home. Ash agreed as it was necessary." Caden explained to the best of his ability.

Does that mean that other small tribes are also going to move?" Sydney asked her eyes filled with concern. "for them within the city walls are safe and Ken suggested establishing a few buildings like the school to only house the females and cubs from our continent. The other males are going to stay outside the city walls."

Alot of children are going to be misplaced at times like this! Have you guys thought of how to combat that matter?"

Luckily Scott considered this and he has assigned Hamp to select a few trustworthy warriors to handle this matter.

Make sure to not let this news out and only help that really need help. I worry that some beasts will intentionally abandon their cubs." Sydney said and Caden nodded.

Sia and the others had been on the side listening and hearing how she planned for the others and how the member of this family were thinking what’s best for them, their trust in Sydney grew. Luckily she had told them to store food initially and they weren’t so stamped for it. They could only add more to restock.

Parrick said it’s a half a month journey, is there any news yet?" Sydney asked .

None from his side, but a group from the snow falcon tribe that were residing closest to the mountains range arrived with this group and have already filled Scott, Ash and Titan on the situation."

Ahh..I see." Sydney nodded in understanding.

We will head back home for now." Sia said and Sydney walked them out. There was alot that had to be done at the moment.

I was having word with my friends and they suggested females taking in more males for better protection and providence." She said as she made her way inside.

We had also thought it through but that’s going to entirely depend on the female. The city can’t over populate or else, the resources locked within the city walls won’t suffice. Moreover, the sun dry season might hit. We can’t be reckless." Caden ruffled her hair in understanding.

Along the way, Parrick had met with a large number of migrants from their continent all headed for their city of beasts. The weak and the strong all didn’t hold back as they carried along their Females and cubs.

I didn’t think it’d come to this!" The ealge male who was carrying Parrick couldn’t help but comment. His sharp eyesight helped him spot even the walking cubs and disgruntled looks on the faces of the females.

Logically speaking, they couldn’t stay in their homes and be invaded. If they were united together and formed a bigger cluster, it was possible for many to be saved.

"Let’s go down and inspect a little about this matter. The migrants are coming from up north but it seems that all the other regions are moving. I just hope that group of snow falcons have reached the city and related the message to the Lord" He noted and the eagle warrior left the skies to head down and see.

It was earlier on easier to note, those that came from the North mountain ranges were all called the snow beasts and their coats were of lighter colours normally white and were pale in contrast. But at the moment, it seemed other groups were converging as well and the groups were meeting at some point.
